Really cozy place. It's right in the middle of downtown Redding, but was safe and super convenient. It was also modern and clean! I've stayed at Hilton and 4-star hotels that wasn't as nice as this place. I totally recommend it if you are needing a place to stay for the night or just simply visiting Redding.

The location of the lodge was right downtown. The room was clean, quiet and modern. The shower ran strong with 3 settings. The shampoo, shower gel and lotion was unexpectedly nice! There were fresh pancakes and boiled eggs, yogurt and many other choices for breakfast, and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely come back!

Clean and comfortable room. Close to the Sundial Bridge and other sites. The lady who checked us in was totally delightful.
Rooms: Clean, attractive, and comfortable.
Nearby activities: Sundial Bridge, Turtle Bay, and walking trails.

We had a nice time with our granddaughter at the pool. We were the only 3 using it. ☺️
It was a short drive to Amtrak at 3am to catch the train.
Heather rebooted our TV and then it worked fine. Used the WiFi on computer, phone and iPad.

Awesome! We loved our stay here! We were passing through on a road trip and needed a hot shower and a bed. The Thunderbird Lodge fit the bill perfectly! We were also pleased to get a pool and breakfast as well. The rooms were super cute and clean. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!
Rooms: Clean and cozy!
Walkability: Redding is a great place to walk and bike!

The room is small. The pool isn't clean. The Wi-Fi requires limited time codes to work, and the first 3-day code we received only worked for 2 hours. The hair dryer didn't work. And it was already too late in the evening for us to get a new Wi-Fi code or a working hair dryer. Not a good experience.
Rooms: Quite small for a queen room. Only one chair is available.

Great location in the heart of Redding. Easy access to the river bike trail, restaurants and Heavenly donuts. Accommodating.
The air freshener in the rooms is over powering so had to open all windows. Could stand to improve the breakfast quality. The AC is due to be replaced.

This was a lovely experience.
Booked our stay on app Bring Fido.
Room was perfect! Bed was so comfy after a 12 hour drive. Ice maker was down but our concierge Heather came to the rescue as well as a 5* Chinese restaurant recommendation. Breakfast to go for a quick departure was great.
I will stay here again! Thank you Thunderbird!
