Why no option for Zero Stars? Very friendly service until my dad unexpectedly passed away and my elderly mom wanted to return so a full return. It's only been three weeks and a King size is no longer needed. Upon Jeremy That friendly salesman to inform him of the return, that friendliness was gone. He said to schedule an appt to tak with the manager. We waited two days to get ahold of him and he said Jeremy was wrong and he has nothing to do with the return. Although they did try and sell her a smaller bed. Unfortunately the $2k base isn't returnable so because my dad died, she is stuck with a huge loss on a brand new product and that doesn't even include fees associated with the return. If you are looking at Yelp, you are smart, please take my advice and stay away from this business. No compassion and very cold once we wanted to return it. Sorry my dad died Sleep Number but at least you screwed a trusting elderly lady out of over $2k. Merry Christmas!** I wonder if this Chris V who keeps replying with the same cut and paste response about their horrible business practices to customer after customer gets tired of defending such practices repeatedly. I like how he hides behind "industry standard practice" instead of treating customers with the respect they deserve. **

Jeremy at the Redding store was absolutely fantastic when it came to helping us pick the perfect bed. He was professional and answered all of our questions on multiple occasions.

MAD DISABLED Viet Nam Veteran This is the worst company I have ever dealt with I am a disabled Viet Nam Veteran and have a lot of trouble sleeping so I went to Sleep number in Redding California I was informed by the the Manage and my sale rep if I bought a bed from then that I had 100 days to sleep in it and if I did not like it I could return it for a full refund, this was told to me by the manager of the store and the sales rep. I sleep on this for several week and did not help my sleep so I called to return it. I was informed that they would pick up the Mattress but I had to keep the base which is $4000 to $5000. this was never bought up in the sales process. I have ask for my contract several times but they refuse to give it. Total Misrepresentation and and hiding facts about the return I would have never bought this if the had told me the truth

I want to tell you that this is the worst experience we have ever had purchasing something. They have the worst customer service they misrepresent their product. They will not give you a full refund. They will not give you dates to pick it up. They are difficult to work with and constantly will tell you to go to one place to talk to another person to continue to say will get back to you and then they don't even call back so I would recommend do not buy anything from the store or this business. They can't even provide us with the paperwork that supposedly we signed. Please be careful watch yourself do not buy anything from this corporation. It is awful.

do not get a sleep number. it's an air mattress with foam and it'll need repairs often and the warranty is prorated. just save yourself the headache.

There is only one reason to shop at Sleep Number and her name is Leslie Merideth. The employees work on a commission basis and although a male employee was to address me when I walked in the door, he didn't. Instead, he judged me from the moment I stepped out of my vehicle to the moment I walked in the door. The ignorant and uncaring male associate had no idea I deliberately dressed down for my mattress-shopping adventure. He also had no idea I was a shopper from the Neiman Marcus location at the Stanford Shopping Center. After instantly deciding I wasn't worth a tinker's darn, he put his nose back onto his handheld device and ignored my presence. Who could imagine this apparent low-life within me would actually be aware beyond measure? Within seconds, I introduced myself and Leslie graciously came forward and introduced herself. She politely acknowledged it was her male co-worker's turn, however, I stopped her cold by boldly announcing, "I won't work with anyone who ignores me." Leslie took the time to have me lie down on several beds while she navigated my body's need's with her iPad. We determined I'm a number 40 and required a such-and-such bed. Not only is Leslie a caring individual, she doesn't judge others by their appearance. She goes above and beyond to ensure her customer's needs are heard, understood and met. When shopping at Sleep Number on Churn Creek Road in Redding, California, only work with Leslie. She's a top-notch individual and low-stress salesperson. She absolutely gets my 100% vote!

I brought in a list of assorted items, from the really great down pillows I love to a king size 100% cotton duvet cover. The sales rep, Jeremy, was able to locate everything I needed, except for one item, the bed skirt.I'm grateful to Jeremy for his help in fulfilling my shopping list.

I posted above that after 7 years my 15 yr. warranty is useless because there are no spare parts available. The company claims they cannot get the motors to inflate the mattress, yet they continue to sell beds with motors! They encouraged me to order a motor through them, pay for it immediately, yet said it could be "months" before it arrives! Meanwhile I'm the owner of a $2500 mattress and sleeping on the floor! The guy who reads these reviews wrote & gave me yet another phone number to call, but it is just an answering machine and so far nobody in their "Executive Department" has returned my call. A quick glance at the stock price of this company indicates it has sunk to about $36, but was at about $150 two years ago. Is it any wonder? I'm not sure which is worse product endurance or customer service.

Yes I did and I sure loved the idea with the new beds you can adjust them with your cellphone I even purchased a bed that day I was so happy with the feeling of these mattress I bought the new Queen Dual C4 360 smart Bed I fell in love with this bed I would recommend these mattress to anyone because you can adjust them according how you want to sleep I know this will be my forever mattress my son is the one that told me to get one and I didn't at first and I spent thousands of dollars on mattress !! Well not no more and no I am not getting paid to write this review I just am so excited about this mattress and they are having the biggest sale right now I got $400 of my mattress.

I can't even begin to describe the poor customer for Sleep Number, quality of their merchandise, and the sham of the supposed 15year warranty. Please don't waste your money, time and frustration. And the added stress of dealing with a bed that's a year and a half old that's falling apart, loosing bolts and screws from underneath the bed. And dealing with the sub company that holds the warranty after a year is a joke. Even though the bed is too be cover for 15 yrs. The warranty company pro-rates any parts on the bed. But that doesn't cover the certified sleep number technician out of Chico to come and that I (the customer) has to pay. I do want to say Thank you to Rob for trying to help us. PLEASE DONT SHOP AT ANY SLEEP NUMBER. YOU CAN SPEND $3600 to over $12,000 for weak quality bed, poor manufactured, a fraud of a 15yr warranty. Basically Sleep Number covers 1yr. And you will get some of the worst and most disappointing customer svs.

DO NOT BUY! Bought $8000.00 bed 14 months ago. The bed won't hold air and I have to pay to have it fixed. Not only that but they cant tell me how much more I will be charged. Take a hard pass here or you will be sorry.

The manager there named John was so rude. My girlfriend and I went it to look for a mattress for us to use when we get married at some point and to look at wedding rings after. It sounded like a perfect night for us but the manager had to try to ruin what was supposed to be a special night for us. He was so rude and disrespectful to me I didn't know what to say and I was trying to put on a happy face since my girlfriend was excited. I think he was disrespectful because I wasn't the one buying it. He refused to shake my hand after shaking my girlfriends, called me by random names, ignored me and gave almost all his attention to my girlfriend even though we said we both were interested in a mattress for us. He was not rude to her but he was very rude and disrespectful to me. We both came back to complain after talking about it in the car and he was on the way home, but the woman there called him We overheard her talking to him and she said we came in to complain about him and I overheard him say "I'm the manager." As if that means he can be as rude as he wants because he can get away with it. She then asked us if we wanted to talk to him but we said no because we overheard him on the phone and his first response to finding out he offended someone is I'm management not I'm sorry so we knew he doesn't care but he would just put on a show and pretend to. We asked them to provide us the name of the boss and he said call him tomorrow. We think he hoped we would forget everything. The district manager Jeffrey Soulberg called us regarding everything and he was kind and understanding. This was an awful experience at the start and we should have immediately left the store.

Buyer Beware! Bought $8,000.00 bed 15 months ago and it will no longer hold air. Wait time for customer service is 3 hours. Finally got through, not covered under their 15 year warranty. Have to pay for a tech call but they don't know how much. Beyond paaaaaathetic.
