My friend had your service in 2018 and had a house fire, she lost everything. Your company had the nerve to charge a lost equipment fee. Gross

They provide bad internet at high prices, you will be calling weekly to have service men come fix the modem. They put a satellite dish on my house then refused to take it down and tried to tell me it was for tv and not their equipment. Cut the wire and left the rest of the wire on my house with hundreds of screws in my siding. Be careful what you let them do to your house because they try to charge you to remove their own equipment.

Wifi has been exceptional! Never have had any problems. I stream movies and TV with no buffering. Super fast even with all of our cameras, Lap tops, etc hooked up to it. Only gave 4 stars bc when installing there was a pretty big hole drilled outside to accommodate the wires inside that I was never asked if Id be ok with and it's definitely noticeable. Other than that we are very happy with our service. :)

Im very close to a tower, and I’m constantly having to disconnect my wifi on phone to get things to load..and I cant even use my computer internet upstairs. My house is not big. Totally worth the $139.95. ?

Had it installed and took out within the 14 day period. I am very close to a tower. Spotty service at best. I'd rather have none than live hoping that it works while paying for it. The business says they are currently working on it. High marks for the nice customer service. Easy to schedule and uninstall.

I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. Honestly, it’s all of your faults for not doing your research about the service. If you’re not very close to a tower then you most likely won’t get good service… it’s that simple. We’re a couple roads away from one of their towers and we get a consistent 90-110mbps down and 8-10mbps up. If you’re close to one of their towers, then you’ll get what you pay for.

Technical support claims to be “24 hours a day 7 days/week” but I’ve called every week for several weeks now, regarding issues with my wifi and NOT ONE CALL BACK. Horrible customer service. I have never had so many issues with an internet provider in my life.

If you have the option of another internet provider, go to them!! In my experience, Shasta Beam has been hands down the worst company in existence. I pay $120.00 per month for download speeds of 3-5 mbps on the average unless I reset my modem which is what I have to do every day and sometimes multiple times in one day or if it's late at night and then I will be lucky to get 20-30 mbps. I have also gone without internet for up to eight weeks because their internet was down. They lose the companies that provide the SIM cards to them and this has happened multiple times which seems odd. When this happens, I have to drive all the way to their office which is 80 miles away from me round trip to get the new SIM card and return the old one. I've done this so many times, I have lost count. I can't wait for my Starlink to be up and going. This company is a sinking ship and it's best to avoid boarding this one. Trust me, you do not want to go through what I have gone through with this nightmare company.

I love this service. I picked up my unit, took it out of the box, plugged it in and went to surfing the internet. 30 plus Mbps down load speed and 40 plus Mbps upload speed. For what I do it’s perfect so far. Haven’t had to call customer service so that’s a pretty good indicator this is a good service.

Don't expect any customer service from this place. Don't expect the internet speeds that you pay for either. Especially between 5pm and 9pm.They eagerly to take your money and not deliver. We had an encounter with Ed. He has said if I left an honest review he'd terminate my contract. Thus was a couple months ago and at the time I needed the service. But paying almost $200 a month for shotty service is ridiculous and pretty much a scam. I spoke with the owner, who actually worked with me, but our speeds seemed to decrease after my complaint.Starlink is available with a brief wait and deposit. I'd sign up for it now if you have ShastaBeam.

Well, the internet service was very expensive and extremely slow at $180/mo (+high activation fee's) and I got around 2 mbps download/0.2 upload speeds. However, it was the only service without a contract so I needed something until Starlink arrived. They have a 14-day money back guarantee which is good, it worked just enough to be able to do paperwork and pay bills with.I was going to leave a 5-star review based on customer service after 3-4 months with them as they can't control the speeds you get since they partner with AT&T cell towers but they didn't allow me to prorate the remainder of this month that I already paid $180 for once I got Starlink hooked up. I returned the unit and still lost out over an extra $120.So while they seemed to have good customer service at first, don't get in the way of their profits. Starlink is much better at $110/mo and now I'm getting well over 100 mbps and never any slow periods!Response:Starlink does not currently have any data caps, it's unlimited. I have not experienced any speed throttling. They offer a 30 day policy on refunds.About the proration, yes, you are correct that it's in your policy and many others. Usually when asked upon cancellation most providers would waive the fee's when switching towards the beginning of a month, but Shasta Beam would not, unfortunately.I appreciate your response and will update my review rating more positively, for your effort. But to say (especially) Starlink has throttling & data caps is a bold claim when anyone can find that they currently do not (in the US) with a quick search.

Absolutely trash. Their over priced for terrible service. We pay $180 a month and we only get 1mbs download speed. I'm glad I switch starlink. They're only $130 a month and it's worth every penny.
