It’s a great school . You learn a lot and have amazing experiences with friends, field trips, and teachers. Some teachers are different than others, or more strict. But they are just wanting you to get good grades . I would recommend this school to anyone. It’s awesome.

I went to this school from kindergarten from 8th grade and by the time I left I was an unstable mess. In high school I tried to commit suicide three times because of lingering depression that I got from the school's horrible disiplanary system and constant lack of attention from teachers and staff about the issues such as bullying.The Chinese program is a mess, one of the teachers even got fired for throwing an eraser at a student who was "disrespectful." My younger brother was in it and he learned nothing.As I said before, bullying is rampant but the staff ignore if you're doing it if your grades are good but the students who become increasingly depressed because of the bullying and poor grades (a common side effect of bullying) , are generally ignored or discriminated against.The teachers are generally just their for a pay check and don't care about their students. Teachers to highly avoid are Ms. Krupit (if that's how you spell it). Not because she's a bad teacher in general but a bad teacher for 5th graders. For a high school class, her dark twisted sense of humor could be quite funny, it's the kind of humor I have now, but in a class for 5th graders who may not understand the jokes, could get easily offended.At RSA you either fit into the environment or you don't If your child is concidered wierd, not something that's bad, they are easily cast aside. This is a school that claims it's good for everyone but it is only good for the ones that conform to society and are considered "normal."The last point I will make is the archetecture is beautiful. That was the only thing I liked about the school and honestly the only thing that made its art program from others. That's the only reason this review gets two stars instead of one.

This place is a rare gem for Redding and Northern California. They truly give the kids every opportunity to learn new art forms and access to so many tools that our kids will use to create a better world.
