For a private chain, it was well done. But there could have been improvements for the fact that we rented space. And there were issues with breakfast and the rooms. However, overall it was nice and that is why it got 4 stars throughout.

Very satisfied with the cleanliness and the view of the pool. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the pool or jacuzzi due to the weather. I can't wait to be back in the fall. At check-in, Rusell was very friendly and courteous.Nearby activities: Less than a mile down the road, you have a shopping center with so many restaurants you can dine at with a little shopping after: Ross, Burlington, Big lots

I stay here at least once per year when traveling for work. This hotel exceeds expectations in location, convenience of location and on-site amenities, and availability of port friendly rooms. The staff are great, I enjoy the food, and the rooms are comfortable. It is admittedly a bit of a perpetual construction site but I appreciate that they are working to overhaul an older building and making notable progress. I'll stay here again frequently.Food & drinks: Great bar staff, drinks, and menu.

Slightly better than a motel but not worth the price to be here instead of the motel nearby.Bed was creaky; I couldnt sleep well due to the noise it would make everytime I turned. The heater wasn’t working; kept the temperature at 90 deg F but all I got was cold air.Bathroom was okay. Looked like what I would get from a motel tho.The front desk people were accommodating so that’s a plus.I think it would’ve been a better place to stay if the price ($110 per night as of now) was like $15~$20 more than the motel nearby (~$60). But for $40+ over the motel price, it was not worth it.

It this a 5 star resort.. NO.. It’s a Red Lion Hotel… The other reviews really need to re-evaluate the meaning of star weight when rating a “Hotel”.Look, it’s an older hotel, still under renovation. Is it bad.. From from it. The hotel doesn’t smell of cigarettes or pee. Rowdy kids, loud guests drunk from a bar, that’s EVERY hotel I have ever stayed at. Lame reasons to downgrade a review..Is there room for improvement, yes, at about 80% of hotels that aren’t new. Furniture older, yep. Spotless, nope. Dirty, no and I have stayed here in different rooms, several times. The services was and IS always friendly and helpful. The parking is ample. The pool and spa are great. Air worked great. The tv, great. Plenty of space. The bathrooms clean and large. The water piping hot. Coffee in room. Great breakfast with outstanding service (Forgot the young guys name making coffee in morning that greeted us, Sorry, but he was awesome!) They have a small gym.. Close walking distance to great little eateries. A courtyard to take you pet out to. Reasonable rates. If you were looking for a 5 star hotel, then you shouldn’t book at 3 star hotel with 5 star tastes. Period. This is a great hotel that never fails us on our travels.By the way, the sliding glass door has a lock, well, 2 for that matter and is completely safe. Actually its a blessing to use when you are loading and unloading from vehicle, but hey, we all need something to complain about I guess. I just choose to complain about real issues that are concerns. But I also have 550+ followers and over 5,500,000 views on my reviews and photos… So I gues the truth without the blah blah drama is better and more well received…Nearby activities: Shopping center across way. Hiking . Fishing and other great downtown events.Safety: Locks on doors, if used, work wonders. That’s why they are there. Feel more unsafe, go to second floor.Walkability: Great eats just steps away, or eat at their Three Shastas Bar and Grill… Live music and good eats.Food & drinks: The morning breakfast is not bad. Great options : Scambled eggs, coffee, sausage, potatoes, cereal, juice, toast, waffles, yogurt, fruit and specialty coffee drinks.

The team members are super nice and accommodating however, this was not an enjoyable stay. I checked in on Friday night. The first room that I was in smelled so heavily of pee and mildew but my 3 month old daughter and I checked in late in the evening. I brewed 4 cups of coffee to mask the smell so we could sleep. I reluctantly called the front desk to ask for a room switch despite hating being “that person” but it was starting to seep into our clothes. The front desk person graciously switched our room. Then came Saturday (tonight) at 11 pm the loudest children aka my neighbors, began screaming and popping things awaking myself and apparently other rooms because I heard them complain to each other that my call/complaint to the front desk was the second one. Once they quieted down the bar in the hotel started bumping and the loudest drunk women got excited to reunite with an old companion. You could hear her shouting from across the pool/yard area. I assume at maybe 2 am the bar will close and maybe some peace and quiet will begin. The second room was an upgrade however one of the beds was broken as well as the curtains. The curtains didn’t close all the way and as a single parent I was horrified at the fact that people could just look in while we slept. Attached is a photo of how far the curtain would go and as you can see someone could easily peek in. I ultimately had to pull the bottom half of the curtain up and push a chair against the sliding glass door so it felt as though I had privacy in my own room. Hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The hotel staff is great, but the quality of cleaning is in serious question as well as substandard room quality. I was uncomfortable my entire stay. I will never stay here again.Rooms: The rooms are outdated, smell of mildew, sloppy maintenance work everywhere. Nothing feels really clean.Nearby activities: Bars everywhere if that’s your thing.Safety: I was very uncomfortable, I never felt safe staying here. Between obvious drunkards and sketchy people dwelling around the neighboring cars as I loaded my child. I was on edge the entire time.

Spent 1 night here and would actually come again! Clean, comfortable bed & pillows, a private balcony, spacious bathroom and friendly staff. There isn't a free breakfast but a restaurant that offers early breakfast in the building. We didn't check it out. Right off the highway but quiet even with the sliding glass door open.

Landlord special room that still had some hair in the sink and in the sheets from the last guest, the general demeanor of the room begs the question of if you should sleep with your shoes on. ordered food from the restaurant got the saddest pizza I’ve ever seen for the price that should’ve filled the box.Rooms: Glad there are hardwood floors
