This hotel is very loud. Doors starting slamming, cars starting beeping and the Bigfoot upstairs started trodding around right at 5am. No waffle machine at breakfast, which is usually standard at lower end motels like these. The pillows are half pillow, the air doesn't work, the area is surrounded by homeless people. I could go on and on. I gave it 2 stars because of the helpful young man at the front counter when I checked in. Staying here makes me never want to stay at a quality inn again.

Rooms are updated but when you take a closer look you can see the updates were pretty shoddy. For instance the security latch was replaced but it's loose or the bathroom fan spins but no air is moving. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was ok.

it had been the most unpleasant experience ever. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. We went to local national park for a visit and when we came back after an exhaustive hike, we found out that our luggage was removed from the room. Upon calling front desk they said that the room was booked only for 1 night. It was late at night and we were asked to leave or book another room. After a long conversation or argument with the staff it was clear it was their mistake as they gave us the wrong room. No empathy for their customers. I had to cancel our rest of the trip and drive back home 400miles away with my kids. I do not recommend this hotel.

The entrance cards didn't work, The air conditioning had a mind of its own. The TV didn't work. It would come on, but I had to pull the plug to turn it off. No volume. The room was clean. The shower worked. What more could you ask for.

Basic and comfortable stay overall, breakfast area was kept clean and fully stocked. Staff at the front desk were friendly. Room was overall clean and comfortable. Our room AC had kind of a moldy smell to it, but overall the room had all the essentials we needed. Coffee maker, small fridge, iron, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, free wifi, ice machine nearby, etc. Room service is done as needed but they kept freshening our towels and taking the trash. The hotel/inn was close to restaurant shopping and points of interest in Redding.Nearby activities: Sundial Bridge, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants

When you turn in the bed moves on the remolded vinyl floors. Not a fan of a dog sitting at a table where you eat breakfast in the morning. Food no good! Pretty sure homeless go and help themselves for breakfast as well. Won't stay there again!!!!!!!!

Perfect. Haven’t been to the pool or breakfast yet but if it’s like the rest I’m sure it’s great. Chris, front desk, perfect. Excellent manners, friendly, efficient, on it. Front desk has snacks and a few other odds and ends. Lobby smelled fresh and clean. The room was spotless minus a bit of coffee spilt in the fridge someone missed. Everything else looked great and I look. All appliances worked well and furniture was clean and functional. Location is perfect. Even in the death heat, could still walk to food if you need to. Lots of options close for food and shopping. Good wifi connection as well

Freeway close. Rooms are basic and comfy. They provide bathroom essentials so no more stealing the shampoos, lol. Breakfast was good. Would have liked to see bacon but their selection of hot and cold items was pretty good. Decent biscuits and gravy. Staff is friendly. Would stay again.

When you 1st walk into room 303, you get a whiff of stale musty old room. *Good thing I don't leave home without essential oils.AC only stayed on 5 hours. Would not turn on until we unplugged it and waited awhile. Ran fine after that.Breakfast was good.Staff was excellent. Really appreciate all.The pool was perfect!

First time writing a review for anything so you know it's good. Mattresses and sheets were very stained from sweat and other unknown discolored things, bathroom wall had previous guests hair on the walls, tub and sink drains were very clogged and filling rapidly, hot and cold water was swapped which shows lack of attention to minor detail, dust everywhere, floors made my feet black, and to top it all off the lady at the front desk didn't seem to care. On her behalf, she may not be in charge of this kind of thing. Regardless, my 70yr old grandpa and I left absolutely disgusted. This is shameful.

David H was a great person to run into at midnight!! He was very happy and upbeat and very welcoming. We are currently traveling and had tried to find a hotel prior to arriving here and the girl there was extremely unpleasant. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. Rooms do need to be updated for sure the cleaning crew didn't notice the smoke detector was covered with a bag by the previous guests which was annoying/dangerous to wake up to seeing that. Overall great stay.

Room was tired and not well kept, but the worst thing was the floors had not been swept or mopped, they were dirty. It was late when we arrived and after driving for 11 hours we didn't' have the energy to ask for a clean room. So beware, this is not a very clean or well maintained motel.

Chris provided awesome above and beyond service, spotting us having a bit of a problem opening the door and running across the parking lot to help. Very polite and efficient guy! Our room was bright and comfortable but appeared to be incomplete -- in some state of renovation -- with stained and unmatching curtains and valance against nicely new painted walls: no artwork on walls: various signs such as incomplete or no caulking as well. Nice vanity light only came on when bathroom exhaust fan was running....not sure what was intended but that made no sense to me anyway. Breakfast was unremarkable. I give the owners credit for a nice concept in renovation and assume other rooms are complete. Stairs and no elevator so just be aware. Close to a lot of stores. Grounds are standard but again they look like they are being improved. Okay for an overnight stay although below value for what we paid.

Utterly disappointing and wastage of money, staying even for a day. Booked the place seeing the positive reviews on website but what a disappointment it was. Cramped rooms with small toilets. It's depressing to enter the room. Had booked and planned to stay for two days but checked out in a day. Was so frustrated with the room and surroundings. Will recommend to spend extra bucks and take some good place to stay.
