Charlie is great. I brought in a starter that needed to be repaired for an older ClubCar XRT (off road golf cart thing). He quickly let me know that repairing it wouldn't be good long term. He then found and ordered a replacement starter for much cheaper than I could find online at no additional cost.

We were referred by a reputable boat repair shop that Charlie is the best. Honestly, he was. We had called at least 10 places trying to find an alternator for our 25+ year old boat. Charlie not only had the alternator, he set it up for us, changed the pulley, gave us a rundown of the potential pitfalls and helpful tips. He had the best price by far which was the cherry on top.What made Charlie the best is that he inspected our old alternator after we left and then called us in the morning to discuss what he found and wanted to make sure the wiring in the boat was ok due to his findings. He offered to help us troubleshoot if we had additional problems with the boat on the phone at no additional charge just because he wanted to make sure we were able to get our boat back on the water. Charlie was kind, caring, and went the extra mile for us. We were on vacation, far from home and not familiar with the area. Charlie’s superior stock of alternators, wisdom and guidance got us and our children back on the water and saved our vacation.

So I was referred to this small mom and pop business by the John deere dealer for a starter. Not only did they know what we needed, but had it in 2 days. Dealer was backordered for months, they got it in 2 days! Keep it local!!

I bought an alternator for my backhoe and the wiring was a bit different so he had me bring it to the shop and he got the wires right and i was up and running again..Great experiece..highly recommended

Charlie at NCCS completely saved our vacation at Shasta Lake and our faith in humanity. We booked a vacation out of town with family and friends from out of state and went to start the boat to no avail. Due to being Memorial Day weekend we searched 4 hours, drove up and down i5 in search of someone, anyone to help us. Nothing. We were told by numerous businesses "We're not allowed to help. We're too busy." In a last ditch effort before returning to camp and coming to terms with being boatless for Memorial Day weekend, we were given Charlie's phone number. Charlie was recovering from an injury on his couch, got dressed, met us at a gas station and we followed him to the shop. Above and beyond service! This just doesn't happen anymore. Charlie then rushed to the store to get the part we needed a half hour before closing. Savior! Boat started up! Unbelievable service, gratitude and above all else awesome human being! Now off to the water-5 star service.

He's a specialist. His price for a new alternator was almost identical to a refurbished one. He doesn't do the installs himself, but Craig's auto is right next door and will do the work.
