Compared to franchise names like O'Reilly's or AutoZone, which are to be liked on their own merits, this Napa store has been around a long time and the people in it have been around a long time and they have forgotten more about automobiles then all the other younger guys have ever learned. And the machine shop here has been really excellent and hopefully will continue to be so.

The employees of this store have been there "forever", so if you want consistent service with folks who know your face or your story or your needs, head into Napa Auto on California Street at Shasta. I have had really good and exceptional help from both Chuck and Debbie; Debbie for example did a major research for me both times I needed help... it's so fitting they are both Legends in the industry, selling and backing up a Legend battery... Mark and George in the machine shop were awesome! Mark was very helpful and patient with all my questions with my build, he went the extra mile getting my project done fast and the quality is top notch! Any future machine work I will be calling mark for sure, thanks again mark!??

Needed 4 head alignment dowel pins, no other auto part chain store had them. The machine shop only had 2, but took their time to find 4 I could buy locally. Could’ve just sold me the 2 they had, but focused on the customer, not just a sale. Straight to business, professional, and cared for customer. Never had better service than these guys.
