I bought my 2022 Highlander two years ago. I have a lot of it paid off now. One if the salesman for that purchase tried to take in my trade-in for that car and offer me quite less for my trade-in. My husband is thankfully incredibly smart and ran all numbers and had vin numbers as well. He knew what my car was worth. The salesman had given us a trade-in offer for about $8k less than what it says its value is, Kelley Blue Book, same place my husband just ran our car before we got there. He looked at the guys sheet and said that was wrong, the guy insisted it was right. My husband looked at the VIN number and the name of the car and it was not the SUV we brought in, not even the same make, model, or year. This dealership tries to trick you with a sheet that doesn't belong to your trade-in and had my husband NOT been there I would have overlooked it. My husband was furious. Fast-forward to today. I did a price offer for my purchase and trade-in online. The "Forever" Young individual trying to make a sale drew me up an offer that took thousands off my trade-in that they offered me online. Then he tried to ring up the value they'd have to pay back the bank with numbers that didn't match the 10-day pay-off rate. When he was given the screen shots of the online offer he told me that his manager has to look at my car before approving a higher trade-in. But I was given a higher trade-in value online and no manager looked. This offer online was literally no joke, JUST DONE. Anyway, after calling this guy out in text he stopped responding instead of making it right and honoring what they just offered me online, he stopped talking. So not only did this dealer do this to us once before, they did other shady things this time to lure us in again.I went back after first removing this review to see if they would honor their online offer. The salesman said that the online offers aren't real and they're generated by AI and don't count. They wanted me to pay $3000 down instead to get the online offer I wanted and to cover the remaining cost of my trade-in since they were unwilling to give me the trade-in deal. When my car is on sale at the Lithia Chevrolet lot for $35k but has almost four times the miles on it than my car has. My son said, "Mom, why don't we just got to Elk Grove Toyota, he is 12. The girl that sits at the front desk walked by laughing and being incredibly snarky with her obnoxious laugh when I told my son that I will probably go to Elk Grove and I called her out. Two other workers were in proximity and made it feel like they were closing us in and was serious gaslighting and manipulation going on. The sales team were acting like they weren't doing anything and that I was crazy. I started telling the salesman that their yelp reviews in the past few months have been terrible and talked about how they're doing these types of things to their customers. The salesman said he'd like to see those reviews and didn't believe me. They're literally all right here. I would stay far away from Lithia Toyota and the fact that they told me the online deals are straight up false advertisement is a fat lawsuit as it's highly illegal. I hope some lawyer does a class-action lawsuit against any dealer using this tactic to lure and trick buyers and then getting them into the dealership to mistreat them like they are doing here.My sister and I bought my mother's car in cash here and we had a nicer, older man help. It brought my sister back to buy a car and myself. I like Honda's but came here because of a good experience. I bought my Honda at Elk Grove Auto Mall, they have many of the Toyotas I want and always enjoy their services. The "Customer Service Relations" individual who keeps giving the same generic comment and not responding to those individuals that email him can save his time and energy with his nonsense comment back to my post. Copy and paste is easy to do, BEWARE OF THIS DEALER!!

Really bad service. They never answer the phone and good luck getting a call back. I called asking about a simple seat belt buckle fix and whether it was under warranty or not. (We bought the car from them last year). The answers they gave us was, “bring the car in and if it’s covered under warranty then we will fix it, if it’s not covered under warranty, we will charge you $170 for bringing it in”. Remember… this is for a seat belt. I just expected better service I guess. Chris, the service manager did give me a call back and was very clear and transparent with me, unlike the rest of the staff. He gave me recommendation and did not seem annoyed that he had to do his job.

Oct ,17 2023 took my Tundra in today because my roof drip molding came off of which they replaced before. Mind you my truck is a 2017 with 16k miles on it and this has happened twice now. They reattached it and told me to come in to pick it up. At 2:30, I paid this time because this time it wasn't in warranty anymore and the guy said they should bring it right out. So, I waited. I told them at the beginning, I needed to take my son back to his mother and needed my truck back at 3:30. By the time 3:30 came around there was still no truck out front. I'd been standing outside waiting for my truck for an hour and had missed my VA appointment that was at 3:00. At 3:37, I went back inside to the service rep and told him I needed to go. He said, you haven't gotten your truck back yet? I should have came back in and told him. I guess its my fault that I took his word that they would be right out.Update: today oct 18, 2023. I was driving down the highway and the driver side roof drip molding came off again after they said they reattached it yesterday. So, I paid them for nothing pretty much.Update: Oct 19, 2023. Since the roof drip molding came off yesterday. I decided I wanted to see if they had actually tried to reattach the molding back on to the roof with adhesive or with what the warranty service writer said the tech used, double sided sticky tape. I took off the roof drip molding that came off yesterday and saw that there was an inch of double sided sticky tape used towards the very front of the vehicle on the molding and nothing done towards the rear where it was coming off from. I would say the tech probably spent a total of 15 minutes on my vehicle with minimal effort put in. Glad I paid for that.Update: You wont find me in your system because the truck is under my dad's name Khamla S. When I bought the truck I needed my dad to be on it and I am the co-signer because on paper my income didn't qualify. Also, the invoice number is 668503 and tag number is T8162 on the paper work I received when I paid. Don't bother calling unless your going to give me a refund. I already have the parts on order and I will fix it myself when they come in.

I bought a used car from the Redding Toyota because I liked the idea of having the life time oil changes. I had no idea what a pain it is to get a oil change done. They do not offer walk-ins, it takes an average of 2 weeks for the dealership to get back with you to set up a appointment, they have forgotten to check me in and I ended up waiting over 3 hours in the lobby, and in general have never had a oil change take less than a hour and a half. It's truly a hassle.

Be very very careful with this dealership.I was pre-approved through golden one and they insisted i run a credit check with Toyota. Golden one still had lower rates. They did my entire paperwork with the wrong rate!!! I had to redo it, and they did it wrong again. This time they through in warranty's that I did not ask for.So we did it a third time. The third time they were able to sneak in a $995 junk fee for spartan security. This is some tracking device that has an insane markup. I did not ask for this and made it very clear I do not want any options or markups. Very deceptive practice. How does my social security bring up someone else's name? They wear you down to run fraud on you. Not coolI will be contacting Toyota of north america for assistance. After waiting 3 months they gave me a whopping 24 hrs to come sign for the car so i have to do 320 mile round trips twice. This is how they treat customers who drive 6 hours roundtrip to give them business

Sold a lemon. The transmission broke a month after purchasing! And, then Dan threw my daughter's glasses in the trash after promising to send them to her.

One day they claim unlike other dealers, they don't do dealer markup. But then later, they do dealer markups. Ok so now they don't markup and only sell at MSRP. But then you find out, they put on $thousands$ of dealer add on junk that are unwanted. Oh ya Mike "Hammy" Hamilton?,....run away. Guy thinks he's cool beans.."Hammy". Someone should tell Hammy that he is making a bad name for himself on social media throughout CA from out of towners that made the mistake to come to Redding Lithia. And stop spamming people with your useless email newsletters, Hammy.Sad really. I purchased 5 new toyotas from here over the decades, but never again.

I had my RAV4 towed there because the vehicle would not start. The vehI left was a cash purchase with a bumper to bumper warranty. Called AAA towing, they pick up vehicle on a flatbed. The vehicle was in perfect condition. After having the car for almost a week, they called for us to pickup, there was a hug crack in the windshield. When it was taken from in front of my home there were no chips nor cracks. It has now cost me $625.00 for windshield that was not broke before they took possession for a warrantied repair, so a battery charge cost me $625.00. And no mention on the vehicle inspection about a broken drivers side crack that was 16 to 20 inches long. This will be the last vehicle I would by from them and take my warranty issues to a mother Toyota Dealership.'

Be aware when using this dealer center. Better choose other one even if it is further away.Fraud activity from Internet Sales Managment.A car was selected on the website, which is already in stock in the office. Availability was confirmed. A credit application has been submitted and approved. And only AFTER THAT sales manager began the conversation that there is a false information on the website about this vehicle, the car has a completely different configuration. But since you have already been approved for a credit, we suggest you take out another (more expensive) one.Awful and disrespectful attitude towards the client. No attempts to correct the situation, but an easy opportunity to leave a negative mark on your credit history. It's a shame MIKE! You better start doing honest business.

Robert was great to work with, he was able to get me a new transmission for my 2016 tundra within a week and have it installed within 2 weeks. So far so good he also gave me an extended warranty, did an inspection, installed a new water pump and threw in a new battery. Thanks again for getting me back on the road

I had a great oil change experience today, which is not always the case. The people were very personable, and the service was quick. The reason I have not given it five stars is that the chairs in the waiting room are so soiled it made me reluctant to sit in them, they desperately need to be cleaned or replaced and I have mentioned this prior, but they’ve not acted on this. This does reflect on the pride of the dealership and the importance it places on customer health and comfort.

Was recommended to go to Lithia Toyota of Redding, so I made the 2 1/2 hour drive and was not disappointed. They worked with me to try and get the vehicle in the specs I was looking for which was appreciated. Definitely liked that they didn't call bomb me or try to sell me something I didn't want to buy (unlike other dealerships) because of this I would'nt hesitate in referring others to this dealership. Tristan was definitely appreciated for making the sell process go pretty smoothly, was even willing to pick me up from the train station to get to the dealership. Honestly think these guys are ethical as far as car sells go compared to other dealers. On top of it all, getting the vehicle at MSRP was very attractive to me, no crazy dealer mark ups. Saved a few grand compared to what the pricing was in Toyota in Davis, CA.

I promise they will do everything in their power to make your life a living hell. Whether you are buying, or servicing, it's going to be miserable. Every step of the process will take ages longer than it should and they will never answer their phone or call you back. This entire business is a scam.

We've bought our last vehicle from Lithia Toyota Redding, and we knew from years of experience with them, we were going to be a repeat customer. We got a great sales man Steve Anderson, and he took us through the process quick and easy. He worked a great deal, got top dollar for our trade-in, and we drove out with our current dream car. I can't say enough about this facility, the General Manager has always been at the top of his game, taking care of any issues quickly, so we knew this transaction was going to be a smooth as the last one. (Shout out to Tracy in Finance for working her magic and getting all our numbers to align with our budget with out sacrificing our warrenties or perks)Thank you guys!!
