I have been a mechanic for over 35 years I went in asking them to press out a lower ball joint and they gave me a quote for $1,900 I think that's quite unprofessional and imagine the people that they do this s*** to that doesn't know we have to do better.i understand we all have to make money.i fixed the part for 50 bucks

I had brand new rotors installed here 17 months ago. I drive in town mostly less then 6000 miles a year. My car started vibrating really bad again while breaking which is a sign of the rotor trouble. I took a trip up to Mt. Shasta and my car was shaking really bad to where I pulled off the road and called Les Schwab to see why my rotors are already bad and if I would be safe or should I come home. They said I would be safe and I made an appt for Monday (Today). I dropped my car off and Randell said that it’s normal and common for rotors to go out when going up and down the mountain. I lived in mt. Shasta and have been up and down that mountain 100 times and have never had a problem. I said “so you are telling me that everyone who drives up and down that mountain needs new rotors”? He said “yes, I see it all the time”. I left my car there to be inspected hoping they would guarantee their work. Not sure who called me back to let me know that my car was safe to drive and I can pick it up. I asked if they did anything to fix it and they said no, it was safe to drive. They said they could turn the rotors for $149.00 but they would need a 4hour slot and I would have to make an appointment. Which is fine, but my car wasn’t safe to drive and they weren’t going to guarantee their work. I picked up my car and left. The extra star is for Carlos who did call a bit later, as I was at Rocha’s Auto Center dropping my car to get fixed (highly recommend). Carlos stated that there was miscommunication and my rotors were still under warranty and they would not charge me to have them turned. By this time it was too late and turning the rotors would only prolong the problem. But he did try and I really felt by them saying my car was safe to drive, come pick it up that they didn’t want to stand by their work and they don’t care about their customers safety.

shout out to this crew at Les Schwab Tire in Redding who fixed our trailer tire yesterday as we picked up a nail somewhere along the freeway during vacation. Amazing attitude and service and thankful!

Asked for our tire to be aired up. Guy came out, we let him know our tire was at 23psi and needed it at least at 40psi. He put air in our tire and said we were good to go and he gave us an extra pound of air. We leave and our tire is at 24psi!!

Les Schwab has always been good and not pushy but one of the techs with glasses (idk his name) was trying to push me to approve work for my company vehicle. Almost $3k worth of work when I only needed 2 new tires in the front and a cv axel boot since mine had a ripped. Les schwab has never done that before and didn't care for it from that tech.

I have been a customer for over 15 years. Today was a stressful day because my alert went off that my back tire was low. I was told I had a large staple in my tire that could not be repaired. I would have to buy 4 new tires for my all wheel drive deep...which had new tires. Apparently he assumed I was stupid. I left with my quote and went to Big-O. They found nothing in my tire, no leaks.. NOTHING! Bye Les Schwab.

The young man who I was greeted by gave me some conflicting information and vague answers. All of my brakes needed to be fixed. But I was only given quotes for the front. I stated several times that this vehicle is a service vehicle. Why not fix it all while I'm here. They do not understand service vehicles. They are driven hard every day, towing thousands of lbs. But after an assessment, I was told it could be driven in the red on their scale this is not the case. He had to have been very new because he used the phrase "I don't know" more than once and also had no idea how to communicate with another les schwab to order parts I needed. But when I went to my les schwab in my area they had complete access to everything we had talked about at the les schwab in redding. What the heck?! Do we not know how to ask questions? Do we not know how to serve the customer. It is not acceptable in any line of work to say "I don't know" you find the answer that is your job.

Don't come here if you just need a rotate. Waited an hour watching my truck sit in the the bay. The guy was creeping along taking his time. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is they are kind people

A few weeks ago my family and I were headed out of town on a trip north and needed to be to our destination with no time to spare. As we pulled out of our driveway the tire pressure indicator came on our vehicle. It was 10 lbs low! We drove to Les Schwab on Churn Creek and were met immediately by who I think was probably the manager. We told him our dilemma and he said they could get to it and that it would be about a half hour to get it fixed. Fine by us. We felt blessed to just get seen. Within 15 minutes they had fixed a bolt/screw puncture and we were back on the road. Thank you Les Schwab and hats off to the manager and nice tech who took care of our problem. We appreciate you and your prompt service and great attitude!

Joshua helped me out with removing a nail from my trucks tire when I'm sure he could've charged me for service and labor. I'll be getting my tires here when they need a replacement for sure!

Carlos and Ryan were amazing!!! We were in town for a wedding with a rental car. We got a flat tire due to a screw and were stranded on the side of the highway for almost 3 hours (fault of rental company, not Les Schwab). Les Schwab, specifically Carlos & Ryan, are the heroes in this narrative! It was a Saturday, nearing 5 pm. We knew everything would be closing soon and likely closed the next day. My husband, thinking ahead, called Les Schwab and asked if they would be willing to stay open until we could get to them to buy a replacement tire. We ended up arriving nearly an hour after they closed. They got us taken care of and were so kind. We had to change clothes for the wedding in their bathroom! We were only 30 minutes late to the wedding. So so grateful for Carlos and Ryan!!! They deserve props for staying late on a Saturday night. They saved our trip!
