I had been using ER energy for my gas. They were bought out by Thompson gas. I was on autofill service with them until they came out and filled my tank and billed me $500. My husband died a year ago and I don't have that kind of money. I made payment arrangements, I talked to them about my situation, and I made payments. I was behind when I ran out of fuel. I called and spent my last $340 to pay the bill off and arrange for a delivery. They told me I would have to pay for the gas up front and it would be a hundred gallon minimum so I would have to pay another $420 for a delivery. I told them to come get their tank. They never notified me they were coming. They showed up today and took the tank, my regulator and my gas line. They left me no way to hook the gas back up. And I'm pretty sure the regulator was mine. That has yet to be determined. So I called my friend Paul Emmett with Paul's plumbing heating and Air and asked for help. He said let me reach out to Leo Jones and see if I can get you some help. Within 15 minutes I heard back from Paul and he told me that Leo Jones would be out tomorrow to set a tank and put in a new regulator and line. 5 minutes later I heard from Dan Jones who called me to let me know they would be out tomorrow, what his plan was and to make payment arrangements. This man does not know me from Adam and he is willing to help me. That means more than I will ever be able to express. Thank God there are still people like them in the world. My business is with Leo S. Jones now, and I will recommend them to everyone I meet. Thank you. Sincerely, you are a Godsend.

I recently moved into a new house and ran completely out of propane. I called Leo Jones Propane on Wednesday and set up service. They told me they would get a driver out as soon as possible. Today is Friday. I received a message stating that the driver had been to my house and my gate was locked. I don't have a gate. They recited my correct address back to me. GPS takes you directly to my house. I informed the dispatcher of this. She informed me that they could come back but it would be a $200 emergency service fee. I asked how it was my fault that their driver either could not find my house or didn't even try and simply lied. She asked to call me back after checking with the driver, called me back and stated it would be $150 service charge. She then told me that they were essentially doing me a favor because normally they require 24 hour notice to be put on the route and since I had only called this morning...I informed her that I called on Thursday but after checking it was actually Wednesday that I ordered service. She then informed me that the girl that took my call originally on Wednesday messed up and routed it through the wrong office. I then clarified that their dispatcher screwed up and then their driver screwed up but she still wanted me as the customer to pay for their mistakes. She informed me I had to pay the fee or I would not get propane until next Thursday. This leaves me and my kids with out hot water or cooking ability for over a week! I told her I would no longer require their service and that I would be writing this review.Update: This is insane! I called the Redding office to complain. I guess there are multiple offices. I spoke to Vinnie the driver who couldn't find my house today. After some back and forth he informed me that he would be back out tonight with no service charge. Literally minutes later Charity called from the Burney office stating a driver would be out from her office but there would be a service charge. I told her that I had literally just got off the phone with Vinnie. She said, that's out of the Redding office and we are the Burney office. There will be a charge. I told her I just spoke to Vinnie who said there wouldn't be. She said that was the Redding office, this is the Burney office and we deliver to you. I told her that this was ridiculous and that they needed to get their shit together and that I'd be calling Vinnie back. She said she knows they do and this was really embarrassing. I then called Vinnie. He answered (he sounds like a Vinnie) I said Hi Vinnie and then heard click and was transferred back to the Burney office. I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to Steven. He was both rude and condescending. He informed me that Vinnie denies saying that. I'm not sure how he spoke to Vinnie in these few minutes. He informed me that despite them screwing up multiple times that I was a new customer and that there would be a service charge. I told him that you would think being a new customer they would treat me better. He chuckled and said, you would think but that's not the way it is. I informed him that Vinnie was a liar and that I didn't realize I had to record conversations with his employees. He then told me that they normally require a weeks notice to set up delivery. I told him that's weird because Charity told me 24 hrs and I had given them 48. I asked if they recorded their customer service calls and he stated they didn't. He told me if I wanted service I could pay $150 service, wait til Thursday or better yet spend Christmas with no propane! Yep he brought up Christmas!! I told him he was leaving 2 kids without hot water. His response was well I told you what was required to get service. I asked for his boss and he told me he didn't have one. I asked for the Redding bosses name and number. He gave me the name but claimed to not have the number

Great service They came right out and changed out my old tank from another company and put a shiny new tank in. Very professional and friendly.

We needed to find a new propane gas company this morning. Phoned Leo Jones Propane Service as online reviews were so positive. Julie let us know owners would call us today to make our appointment. Daniel Jones called back, soon after, to say he would be out to our house today. By noon, Daniel was here to remove our old tank, install our new tank, light all pilot lights, check for gas leaks, and ensure all appliances in working order. Daniel is extremely nice, knowledgeable, thorough, accommodating, and exceeds expectations. Daniel's immediate response was highly unexpected, but so much appreciated. Excellent service. Above and beyond. I ran out of propane and they showed up in 15 minutes. The driver was friendly and helpful. He even relit the pilot on my water heater. Best propane service I've ever experienced.

Thank you Leo Jones Propane, for getting me up and running within an hour of contacting you. After another company had me waiting a week for a fill and wanting to charge $150.00 extra. Besides becoming RUDE and combative over the phone. I will ever be so grateful and spread the good word about your company.

great service came out in the snow when we had a problem. Hev had them for 15 years at least and they have always been fair.
