“Absolutely worth the price. They had breakfast, a complimentary cocktail hour-style event on the day we arrived, and the rooms were so clean. After a long trip with lots of driving, we treated ourselves to the 2 queens suite, and it was lovely. Everything was fresh and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean.I appreciated the front desk staff answering our questions and providing suggestions.Our only complaint is that we could easily hear someone above us. We were on the 3rd floor and at 2am were awoken by the loudest walking and shuffling around from above us. That continued all night. It was loud enough that I assumed it was a staff/supply room. I believe it was a guest room. It didn’t ruin our stay, but if you are sensitive to noise, you might consider getting the 4th floor (wasn’t available to us) or staying elsewhere.”

“For the one night I spent here, it was amazing. I was there with my dog and the outside seating area was very nice. The room was very clean. A word of advice, it was concrete flooring, so make sure you bring some slippers. I am assuming it was purposely done that way for itnto bee pet friendly and easy to clean incase of a pet accident. The service at the front desk was also amazing. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. Definitely recommend.”

“We were tired when we reached Redding. We like Best Western. It was a bit pricy but worth it. Rooms were excellent. Clean and very comfortable. For tired traveller's have and excellent restaurant in the same building for a very good supper and the next morning, a good breakfast was much appreciated. Well worth the price!”

The bathroom is tiny, but the shower was hot and their soap smells like coconut which was a nice morning surprise.3 gas stations adjacent to it with 2 being decent price.”

Best Western Plus rooms are very clean, the staff is very polite and nice, and the FREE Continental Breakfast was actually delish!! Met some nice folks from Florida that morning. If you get a chance grab a room. It's actually on the quiet side of Redding.”

“Due to the McKinley fire all the hotel's we're booked. Another hotel suggested Sundial Lodge. When I looked at the building I was expecting an old property. I was pleasantly surprised that other than being small it was very nice. Not a bad stay.”

“I stayed here some time back . I really enjoyed my stay the room was clean and quiet. Housekeeping was prompt. Closes to shopping and bus . That is helpful for those without their own transportation. Also , it is close to the Sacramento river,river trails, as well as Caldwell park, and downtown.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's a Holiday inn so I didn't expect much. I also read lots of reviews. I think people get this and the Holiday Inn down the street confused. This place is pretty new. It was clean. Yes, the door handle broke on one of the side exits. We did report it. The front desk service was very good. They were super courteous. My check in was seemless and my room was ready. Room 303 was in the corner and pretty quiet. I was worried about the freeway noise but if you close the windows, you can't hear a thing. We spent 2 nights here and it was fine. The indoor pool was cold but the jacuzzi was warm. The gym was pretty good and not very busy. The stand out was their breakfast. You can make your own pancakes. They have oatmeal, toast, cinnamon rolls, turkey sausage, pork sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns and omelet. Was some of it over cooked, yes. You get the same thing everyday but at least you have choices. The first day, Darryl was running the breakfast and he was phenomenal. He is a hard worker, kept the food and coffee coming. He went around and asked everyone if they needed and wished us all a happy new year as it was new years eve. Breakfast was not chaotic and there was plenty of seats. The place is so clean. I would go back!”

“Well and checking in. I'm coming from out of town working project for West Pacific drilling and I come in to motel 6 and Kylie meets me very friendly at the front desk. Very professional. Very pleasant experience. Tell me what a combinations are available. Here the location of my room. The positive of having security system for the company truck and things like that just Kylie's phenomenal. You definitely want to have employees like that at every front desk. In my opinion definitely top top of the line so I just want to thank you guys. As far as the room I like the room clean lights left on. I thought it had a bit would have had them. Any fridge that would probably be my only other want in the room but outside of that I really appreciate it. Kylie's professional direction and getting me promptly checked in a permit for my truck company truck and 10 stars. Thank you, All right. I just want to recognize Pablo. I come into my room today and Mikey didn't work and Pablo great customer assistance came in identified what the problem was and said look let me go and just make you two new keys. He says I see you're here through the week. I'm down here on business and Pablo was just phenomenal. Great customer assistant. Great eye contact is good”

“Never again. What a dump! The Wi-Fi didn’t work. There was an unrecognizable foul smell. There was loud construction right across the hall from our room. They double charged us for the room. No continental breakfast. The halls and interior were quite dirty. The furniture was broken and the microwave smelled like it was burning when turned on. The front of the hotel was fine, but the room was in the back overlooking the trash that was piled up in the parking lot. Then the receptionist wouldn’t give us paperwork with the charges when we left. Supposed to have stayed 3 nights but left after the first. Hope you’re reading this BEFORE you book a room and reconsider doing so. Had I known how awful this place was going to be we would’ve just slept in the car, it’s that bad. Corporate, if you’re reading, this location is a stain on your reputation.”

“What an enjoyable stay! We have to go to great lengths to find a hotel that doesn't fill its rooms with some sort of fragrance. My wife has chemical/fragrance sensitivity. We never really know how it will go until we show up and give it the "sniff" test. We found this room to be what we had asked for. Their cleaning supplies are free from even having what is sometimes called "fresh scent." We also needed a little extra time for check out and were easily accommodated. The suite was quiet and comfortable and wonderfully clean. Enjoyed the breakfast as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will book again!”

“The front desk woman was just absolutely amazing ? Give her a raise! She was so helpful when I was dealing with an embarrassing situation. She handled it with absolute professionalism and kindness. I can overlook the loud neighbors and the bed bugs because she absolutely saved my butt and I appreciate it so much. I think it's hard to deal with loud guests and bed bugs are a problem everywhere. Hopefully they will fix it soon. But the service was so good I couldn't leave a lower star rating. Staff was 5 stars and the rooms are 2. So I made it a 4.”

“Basic and comfortable stay overall, breakfast area was kept clean and fully stocked. Staff at the front desk were friendly. Room was overall clean and comfortable. Our room AC had kind of a moldy smell to it, but overall the room had all the essentials we needed. Coffee maker, small fridge, iron, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, free wifi, ice machine nearby, etc. Room service is done as needed but they kept freshening our towels and taking the trash. The hotel/inn was close to restaurant shopping and points of interest in Redding.Nearby activities: Sundial Bridge, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants”

“Horrible…! Never going again rooms stink, refrigerator was dirty, stained towels. I went walk-in, the room had very bad smell requested the front desk lady if she can change the room she refused and said all the rooms have same smell. Contacted customer service was give 5000 points not worth, bad service. Not the quality of comfort inn I have stayed in other comfort Inn properties never had such a bad experience.”
