You had only one cashier working and she was chitchatting with a customer and there ?☹️? two of us in line. She should have called for an extra cashier or something.

Housewares, linens, and limited furniture in this clean and tidy store. Too much unknown brands of food stuff at the register area. However, maybe so dishonest people don't eat it in the aisles??

I had to return a closet rod purchased a couple of days ago. The cashier made it a very easy transaction. She asked if anything was wrong with the item. When I said no, she expediently processed the refund and I was on my way. Quick in, quick out!

The staff in the Redding store are very friendly and engaging. The products are priced fairly and usually lower than suggested retail. The items change on a daily basis so when I see something I want, I know to grab it, it might not be there tomorrow. I find new and fun things every time I shop. You never know what you'll find.

Maybe if Homegoods paid a living wage they could actually get some employees. Unfortunately, they had one, a tiny old lady who is stuck on the register with customers yelling at her. She is calling for help on the radio and no one answers her.I guess they need to hire a manager who actually rolls their sleeves up and helps on the floor when foot traffic is high. Instead, they just enjoy disappearing in the back somewhere and not coming out the entire hour I walked around trying to find someone to help me buy a $300+ rug and a couple of floor lamps.Poor little old lady at the front is doing her best to be nice to customers who are now frustrated and treating her bad in response.Hire more people by paying them appropriately and get rid of the lazy managers who use their position as if they are royalty.
