There was mold in our room and I needed to get transferred because i had a newborn and a toddler. I get it there were no available rooms but there were no manager I could speak to or help us during our 2 day/1night stay. All the desk workers kept saying was "i have no authority, you would need to speak to the manager" no accountability at all was done. The MOLD WAS ALL OVER the bathroom...what I captured was only a piece of it. It also smelled like the shower curtains had that dried up stanky smellThe gold star to this place was a sweet guy that worked breakfast and went out if his way checking if anyone needed anything

Positive: The rooms are clean and bed comfortable. The problem is that there is zero ability to sleep here. Travelers are so rude. No one to regulate people being loud, kids running halls with parents when trying to sleep in the night. Loud music upstairs room and what sounded like thunder of constant walking back and forth. Banging constantly echoes the halls. So if you need to sleep don't stay here. It's the 2nd try. I realize it's not the hotel but society that has zero respect for others. Guess I'll buy a trailer to avoid sleepless nights. Or stay somewhere else. Sad people don't think of the other rooms around them in the night.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's a Holiday inn so I didn't expect much. I also read lots of reviews. I think people get this and the Holiday Inn down the street confused. This place is pretty new. It was clean. Yes, the door handle broke on one of the side exits. We did report it. The front desk service was very good. They were super courteous. My check in was seemless and my room was ready. Room 303 was in the corner and pretty quiet. I was worried about the freeway noise but if you close the windows, you can't hear a thing. We spent 2 nights here and it was fine. The indoor pool was cold but the jacuzzi was warm. The gym was pretty good and not very busy. The stand out was their breakfast. You can make your own pancakes. They have oatmeal, toast, cinnamon rolls, turkey sausage, pork sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns and omelet. Was some of it over cooked, yes. You get the same thing everyday but at least you have choices. The first day, Darryl was running the breakfast and he was phenomenal. He is a hard worker, kept the food and coffee coming. He went around and asked everyone if they needed and wished us all a happy new year as it was new years eve. Breakfast was not chaotic and there was plenty of seats. The place is so clean. I would go back!

We are staying in Holiday Inn Express properties on this trip because we are traveling with a newborn, and they are consistently what we expect (clean and well maintained). However, this location seems a little old or dirty and has little beat up. I don't know, maybe it was just the room we were in or what, but there was some damage in the room and some less than clean areas. overall, it was not that bad, but it's definitely not what we expected. There was an open soda can in the refrigerator and a shoe horn above the bed, in addition to the cleaning issues. I would stay here again. The vending machines were basically empty, and the little cupboard area downstairs was very bare, very poor selection, quite disappointing. Great pillows, though! and the mattress was very comfortable it was hard to leave!Oh yeah and the carts were getting your luggage in and out of the hotel room or the worst I was really hoping that I would get to like them and they're not really all that bad but when you get to the door and you want to push it into your room you can because you can't grab it and pull forward while opening the door so it was just awkward I think with maybe some practice they're really probably not as bad as I think I really did give him a try I'm just not a fan.Rooms: The room we were in was in somewhat disrepair and not the cleanest we've been in for the Money Paid definitely thinking it should have been betterNearby activities: There is so much to do! you can even walk to many restaurants and activities.Safety: Was worried about the truck being out in the parking lot, not the best lit area, but inside of building is seemed okay. At 2:00 a.m. my wife was walking the baby, and there were some very undesirable people visiting with the hotel clerk...Walkability: Wants to do in the area great access to the pool and restaurants around the hotelFood & drinks: Very little selection inside the store almost useless of vending machine probably would have been betterNoteworthy details: Vending machines were basically empty store area that's very poor selection

When I checked into the hotel, they took a security deposit for the room, and said "just in case you steal anything..." Funny, if I weren't a person of color? ON A WORK TRIP. What would I steal? A used pillow? Racist. Do better.

I used the reviews to pick this hotel and we didn’t get the same experience. The room stunk of cigarette smoke. Front clerk couldn’t do anything except let the manager know later. Bathroom has brown marks on the wall next to the toilet. Didn’t feel clean at all. Bathroom reeked even worse of someone smoking inside. With no fanto air it out. We got out the next morning soon as possible. Bed was ok. Good luck to whoever stays in room 203 next. The hotel is conveniently located though. I was wishing I booked a room at the best western next door.

We have never been disappointed with Holiday Inn Express. The room is emaculent and the bed is comfortable . The bedding is the perfect weight, not too light . The pillows are fluffy, I never have to bring my own pillow. I highly recommend .

Gross.Lifted the blanket and found a public hair. The pillowcase was white but slightly see-through and I could see some kindof hair between the pillow and pillow case. Obv didn't get changed between guests.Door wouldn't close by itself, needed to be slammed. If you walk thru and let it close behind you, it would get stuck and stay cracked open. I could muscle it closed but an elderly person probably wouldn't be able to. Latch on the inside of door was very difficult to close and super squeeky. Door obv needs to be re-aligned.Ice machine was brokenToilet paper roll was half used and they refolded the end to be fancy... not sure if this one is gross or not but for like $180 I feel like It should have been new. The gym wasn't the greatest, they did have weights but nothing smaller than a 15lb dumbell. There were a few pcs of cardio equipment - tried the elliptical and it was decent. Not having those smaller weights was annoying tho. Im a very active person and those lighter weights are what most people need. I tried going swimming after breakfast around 6:30 am but the door was locked and they said its not open. It was however open around 7pm when I went in to see how it looked I booked this place because I love the breakfast spread, its always amazing. The dude wiping tables in the breakfast area at 6:15am was super cool and was probably the highlight of the stay. He needs a raise. Also the front desk girls all seemed nice.Thankfully I brought and extra sheet and pillowcase and made it work with the nasty bed honestly for this price I probably won't be back. Ive stayed at motel 6's that were cleaner. The breakfast was still super bomb but not worth it.A+ for initial impressions, but if you look slightly deeper then that, the pube was a deal breaker - grade = F

Con: Disappointment in the level of cleanliness in the facility. We checked into our first room which had a strong smell of urine and no blinds at the window. Second room carpet was caked with dirt buildup. The blinds in the second room where hanging from a shower curtain rod.Pro: Beds slept well and bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Read

The rooms needed maintenance. The bathroom door’s lock was broken. The restaurant was understaffed. It took around 20 minutes to just place the order and 30 minutes for the food to get cooked. This was accompanied by slight racism as she prioritized us last instead of going in the order according to how people entered the restaurant. There was no politeness whereas the other guests were greeted with a smile. There was nothing wrong done/mistreatment from our side.

The hotel was clean and we felt very good about the health precautions they were taking. The staff were super helpful and gave us a great tip for an awesome restaurant near the hotel.

I stayed here for 21 nights (not by choice) Poor maintenance: there’s something broken at all times. For example: elevator was broken and the elevator permit is not up to date they show one from 2019. Access doors to the building are broken. Only the one up front works.Poor management: For 3 days straight I requested room cleaning. It didn’t happen until I told them I will leave if room is not cleaned. They charge me on two different credit cards and after complaining and asking for refund, manager Sahaj did it to the wrong credit card. After talking to several of the employees, they are not happy with management and complain that there is no maintenance staff on site to fix broken things.Rooms: Rooms are okay. Need to clean carpetsWalkability: A lot of businesses Within walking distance.

If you have a choice between the Holiday inn Express and the Holiday inn, both on this road, choose the Holiday inn Express. The Holiday inn is old and run down. You'll walk a mile to your room. What you'll like...+ Staff are very friendly.+ Hotel room beds are very comfortable.+ Daily housekeeping.+ Free parking. + Effective air conditioning.+ A few working USB plugs in the room.+ Decent furniture in the room.+ Cattleman's steakhouse next door.+ 90 minutes from Lasson National Park. What you almost certainly won't like...+ Poorly maintained building. None of the exterior doors work properly. Some have been broken for years.+ Terrible location. Drug addicts roaming the streets. + Filthy hot tub. Filled with foam.+ Some broken USB plugs in the room.+ Tiniest refrigerator on Earth.+ Ice cold swimming pool. This would be great on a blazing hot day if it were outdoors, but an indoor pool that's not heated is a waste of effort.+ Car break-ins in the parking lot.

2019: During my first stay, there was dirt all of my room floor, and what seemed like dog or baby poop on the floor and bedding. 2021: My first room smelt like cat pee, and my second room had dirt all over the bedding and cracked floor tiles. 2023: My first room was dirty with what looked like crumbs all over the floor. My second room seemed fine until you looked in the shower. There was dirt in the walls and hair everywhere. The room phone in either of the rooms didn't work, and my aunt's room had mold in their shower. 4 YEARS HAVE GONE BY. with NO changes in how this place is run. I am so extremely disappointed in this hotel

Very clean lobby, pool area, and room. The gentleman working the breakfast service was so nice, attentive, and working very hard to keep the food coming out hot and the dining area clean - the best breakfast at a hotel I have ever experienced! The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful as well. Great experience for a very reasonable price centrally located near many restaurants!
