Listen to me, everything carefully. Don't come here. The people who work here are very bad. They saw that I was wearing bad clothes and did not want to rent a car. And when they heard that I spoke English poorly, they immediately canceled the deal.

Worst experience I have ever had. Rented a car while mine was being repaired went to return and they accused me of smoking in my car. I told the lady I don't smoke. The worker said you have a air freshener in so you must have smoked. When I explained I am a case worker working with teenagers with body odor, she laughed in my face.

It was awful. My husband and I complained with the attorney general and BBB The manager if you can call her that is racist and she doesn't even try to hide it. I know she's done it to other people bc even the Uber driver that picked us up asked "oh you guys rented from here"? Said they're known racists and that half the businesses are owned by racists that have been in the news and had multiple complaints. He told me don't go there again , to go thru budget .

Considering all things. The website literally says you except credit, debit, and pre paid but you only except MAJOR credit cards. If you want to use someone else’s card guess what? Additional charge ?. Literally was able to cancel thank god and go to enterprise who was way more flexible and professional aka not out for money. Absolute sham of a business.

Avoid Herts in Redding, CA at the airport. Please go to any other company. They added a $300 cleaning fee because of a little hair from a service dog. I asked to speak to a manger and never got a call back. Very unprofessional. Poor experience. Steer clear of them!

This was the easiest and most pleasant car rental experience I've ever had! I reserved a truck through kayak.com,we needed to drive to southern CA because my husband's mother passed and we needed to take care of her apartment (etc). It was a stressful situation and this place was so friendly and helpful they made it so much easier! They let us change our pick up time, the lady at the counter asked if I had anything that would help us get a discount, and when i dropped the vehicle off it was less expensive than we'd been expecting! I'm so grateful to this place for making a tough situation more bearable.

Made reservations for a compact car but they didn't have any so they bumped us up to a sedan at compact car price, can't beat that for a deal. Plus the larger car got on average 40 mpg, which with gas being so high was an added plus. Thanks Hertz for the good customer service and great deal. ?

Have rented from them previously and always have gotten top notch service. The cars we've rented are very clean and new. They also still have the new car smell.

Rude, rude, rude people. I've rented all over town and this is hands down the worst customer service I've ever had.
