People do the Lord's work here, dealing as best they can with fellows and gals in between homes. However, having shared conversations with a few guests from the rescue Mission, it is evident they are hungry for the Lord.

Very grateful for the assistance I was provided. It is rough on many. I just see any like myself that haven't experienced being homeless before. Many of us worked all our lives, has homes and families. There are many good people there.

Wife took in donations pickup load nice stuff they were rude to her that was the first load the next one goes to good will they were happy to receive the stuff the mission rejected Good news is not so good after all

I would never recommend living at this place they don't care what happens to you they'll still kick you out even when the nurses tell the staff that they're computers were down don't stay there I highly recommend not to stay there.

Just a Good Community Service doing good things. I dropped women's clothes after drop hours to a Group of Gentlemen who took it in and held for the dropoff to open the next day.

Great place to get back on your feet if you're ACTUALLY trying to do better and get your life back on track. These people really care. If you have a problem giving respect or feel you're entitled to special treatment because of this or that, this isn't the place for you. They'll help you safely and quickly get on your feet, but you have to put the work in. Matt, Cassie, Rachel and that one badass dude with the glasses always on the back of his head really do walk a Christian path. Lots of others I'm forgetting of course. Best shelter/opportunity center I've been to across the continental United States.

The Good News Rescue mission has really dropped the ball related to the businesses and the local community. The area surrounding the mission is an absolute discrace, piles of garbage and homeless camps right across the street from them. The people on 30 days out have taken up camp. When you call to inform them they simply don't reply. They don't seem to care anymore for the businesses close by and the community. Very sad.
