Just a tip. Do NOT order online curbside pickup here. I do it all the time at Lowe's with a simple fast experience. So I thought okay it should be fine. Ordered last night for guaranteed 2 hour pickup of a few items that I paid for. Next day I wait till 11am call. They don't even ask for my order number to check, they just say, yeah most of the time it doesn't happen in two hours. We have one guy doing 25 orders. Okay, but Lowe's always does it. And it's now the next day and I'm supposed to just wait how much longer? Crazy

Went to Home Depot today to buy a BBQ. They say they have a deal that if you buy a BBQ over $399 at the store they will assemble it and deliver it. Well that's nice but we could not get anyone to help us. Spoke to 3 employees all said it was someone else. When I asked the someone else the guy said nope not me. So we left and Home Depot lost a sale.

This is not a criticism about the Redding store in particular but Home Depot as a whole when it comes to their store brand product lines such as Commercial Electric. These lighting products advertised to work potentially for decades are only warranteed for 90 days in-store after which you have to deal with the "manufacturer" which is the company they contracted to produce the product for them. It's a classic case of passing the buck. We've purchased close to 200 Commercial Electric integrated LED lighting fixtures and have had enough problems that we will buy no more. This last parking lot flood light which couldn't handle a single power outage was the last straw. Educate yourself on the Home Depot brand line of products and stay away from them.

Over 20 years of patronage at this home depot has been reduced to 3 horrible experiences in the last two years! We'll never be back and because of one disrespectful, vindictive, manager, (Robin) we are closing our Home Depot account entirely! Over the last 20 years we have spent well over $60,000, and $30,000 in the last three years. In the last two years we have been insulted, berated, embarrassed and accused of stealing, and told if we didn't like the price, go somewhere else, all by the same angry assistant manager, Robin! We have contacted Home Depot corporate and registered complaints without any results. I don't understand a company who condones such poor customer service and blatant insulting behavior towards their customers. Before destroying my Home Depot cards, I will once again waste my time by letting Home Depot corporate know of our horrid service at the hands of one of their managers. I am assuming the results will be the same, which is basically an automated generic apology in email form. And no response from local assistant manager Robin, who continues to drive off customers. So long Home Depot! We will be shopping at Lowes and a few mom and pop hardware stores in the future, regardless of inconvenience. At least we will be treated in a courteous and friendly manner, and not subjected to the hateful, angry, attitude exuded by Robin! God bless you lady, please get some mental help! Signed, Lost customers

I prefer shopping at Lowes but they were out of an item so I came to HD. I was left very impressed with the customer service we received from .... Might've been Trevor or tanner? I feel terrible forgetting the name now but anyways, he was passing by with inventory in a cart and asked if we needed help. We really did need help so he stopped what he was doing, looked for the item then ended up using his handy phone to look it up the specific item in store to make sure it was in stock or not. HD ended up not having that specific item but the associate was able to guide us towards an alternative! I love that customer service. We didn't know of others so it was nice that he listened to what we're looking for and gave us a recommendation. It was much appreciated so thank you!

someone I know (a girl) was dressed in a black long sleeve button up and black jeans with air forces. She was called to the back and was written up for "dressing like a guy". So homophobic. Would never support this Home Depot EVER AGAIN!!!

Absolutely nothing in stock as on their app. Have to order weeks out. REFUSE TO ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AS THEY HAVE MADE US WAIT SIX FLIPPING MONTHS FOR A FRIDGE. very upset that I couldn't spend thousands of dollars. Their loss. Here we come LOWES. Because at least LOWES has things in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also EVERY SINGLE one of their EXTERIOR DOORS had massive dents and scrapes. Very unhappy. Glad to have this be our last stop EVER at this store. Done. Bye. Don't worry I'll tell all my friends and family about your business. Maybe I'll give another home Depot a chance if we ever move away to a magical city that has one that has more than a TWO STAR rating. Which is rather generous. P.s. says for our safety to wear masks inside. EMPLOYEES ARE NOT WEARING MASKS CORRECTLY SOME NOT EVEN AT ALL.

I went in to get a weed wacker yesterday afternoon and was so impressed with the customer service! Immediately found someone to point me in the right direction and when I went down the isle, two associates were there and they knew all about the features of the different brands and models. I told them what I was looking for and they found the perfect one for me! So nice to not have to search for help! Good job Home Depot!

Went there to pick up a fire pit and even though I have been receiving a veterans discount for years, I can no longer get one there. Apparently you now have to be active duty or retired to get the discount. I guess I will be going to Loews where they appreciate Vets.

I stopped in for a few items, and the process was quick and easy in and out within minutes. I did realize they are not enforcing the mask policy, so that was a bit disappointing, but I got what I needed and was in and out within few minutes.

Looking for 6' 1 X 8 cedar dog fence boards. I could not find them. I was standing directly in front of the 1 X 6's. Employee directly behind me. I asked do you know where the 1 X 8' are? He turns around and glances for 2 seconds and says looks like we do not have them and walks away. I started to leave and noticed that lots of the 1 X 8' were directly above the 1 X 6's so they had them all along. I then was looking for 8' 1 X 4 cedar. Could not find them. Another man in a Home Depot Vest was like 15 feet away across from me. I said excuse me do you know where the 8" 1 X 4' are. He looks and me and says "I do not know, I'm only a vendor" and continues looking at the other inventory. So if "ONLY A VENDOR" why do they have the exact same vest as the employees? So neither of these men could go out of their way to help a customer? POOR SERVICE.

They sold me a wash machine for 538.18 they said the machine had a warranty for 1 year. They only give you 180 days to bring it back and if you live 1 hour away they don't care. I had problems a couple of months when I brought it home they said the lid was sticking because it was new. I called the warranty to register it and transfer it from my step dad's name because had the truck to get it. They made an appointment for me four months out. Then they never called. It took me months to get them to reschedule they put it out from oct 5 to Nov 10 th they called my parents house no one told me. I called a sales associate she told me to bring it in we could switch it out. I hired a friend with a truck he dropped it on my foot fracturing it and then the manager said no he would not honor the switch. I had to drive back home 50 less in gas and a dinner for my friend with truck. Store manager said he will not honor switch because it's no longer his problem and maintenance was middle man his associates did not know the company would not fix appliance where I live so I'm stuck with an appliance I have to pay to take to junk yard and I was not heard. I'm a single parent low funds children with cystic fibrosis can't take to laundry or friends due to covid I have been without a washer for more then a year and headaches of trying to be heard and helped please call the corporate and tell them this was terrible to treat a mom who has two boys.

My husband went in to exchange his lawnmower, he only used it a handful of times. They would not take it back due to it being over 30 days. That wasn't the main problem, the main problem was how bad customer service was. The gentleman was very rude and didn't even care. A lawn mower isn't something you use everyday, so for a 30 day policy is ridiculous. My husband said he will not go back in. I guess Lowe's is his new favorite store. Customer service is everything to us, we are very loyal people but once we are tested like crap we won't be back. I have also been at Home Depot to return items and been in line for over 30 minutes because they only have two people taking returns when the line was huge. I was only the third Person in line at that time.
