They are money hungry and try and get you to pay for more exams than necessary. When I paid approx. $300 for my dog’s blood tests the doctor wanted me to pay for another exam to get the results, when I had just had an exam recently. I said no to the exam and asked for them to email me the labs and they refused. I sent them an email with a quote which let them know that was illegal for them to withhold that since I paid for it. Even then, they said they would only give it to another vet. So I started going to VCACompanion (way better) and when they received the blood tests results for my dog, he had pancreatitis!!! He could have died in the week they took to give the results to my new doc, and by law, they should’ve given them to me immediately!!! Do not take your furry family member there…go anywhere else. And, that wasn’t the only time I was told to make an appt. They are so much worse than VCA Companion

Everyone from the front desk to the vet tech and the vet were kind and friendly. My cat was treated with love and gentleness. Vet Williams was knowledgeable and had solutions for my cats problems and figured out the best was to treat her. I was looking for a good vet and feel like I have found one. Thank you.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Klein and the vet tech, ( I don’t remember his name.), and the entire staff. I sent an email message because I wanted to explain all of what Petey had been going through in detail and I received a prompt reply and, less than a week later, we were in to see the vet. We went to a different vet for over a year and all that happened was Petey got worse, never better. Come to find out, he had secondary infections due to the allergies having gotten so bad. He had ear infections when we went to the other vet and all they did was give us the same drops that hadn’t worked all the times before we took him, and, come to find out.. there were better treatments for his ears, treatments that were never ever told to us as options elsewhere. Also, they never prescribed him antibiotics which Dr Klein did and, though I was hesitant about a Prednisone regimen, after Dr Klein explained it all, we went ahead with it and I’m so grateful we did. Dr Klein explained every single detail and I was able to fully understand exactly what was being done and why and what to do if Petey showed any negative reactions or effects. We had a blood panel done also and thankfully it came back fine! Peace of mind is priceless and it was necessary in order to ensure our sweetie Petey would get properly diagnosed had there been something that came back bad. Ever since our visit, and after receiving the news his blood panel was fine, I’ve been a total different person, myself. I didn’t realize just how troubled I’d been due to his prolonged, painful condition that started over a year ago, and to see my happy boy coming back from the misery he began to sink deeper into .. well all I can say is I’m forever grateful for Dr Klein and everyone at Dana Park Veterinary Hospital. Thank you for being who you all are.

I love Dana Park. They occasionally have only one vet, or the vet is performing surgery. But all the techs are nice, and they try their hardest to accommodate you scheduling wise. The front desk is very kind when I occasionally call worrying about my dog. I love Dana Park as a primary vet.

My granddogger is a fraidy-dog and barks at everyone. Because he is big, people assume he is going to attack them. The staff here handled him with the utmost tender care to comfort him. I really appreciate the extra we got here in this extraordinary vet hospital.

I have been going to Dana Park for years. They have all new doctors and they can use some work on their pricing. They want to charge I believe $20 for a shot plus $10 to dispose of the syringe.
