This place since it was Owens Has gone down hill. Crudy customer service and rude. One thing is that they are closed on weekends. Im transfering my perscription to one when its ready i do t have to wait till Monday. What a joke common CVS.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAKE BLVD LOCATION!!!! They are very poor at customer service, and it has become a quality of care issue.

Typically a good experience. Not the case this past month.love it when a pharmacy knows you're on an important psychological care regimen and then fail to fill the prescriptions for weeks at a time because they're literally too lazy to refresh the prior authorization insurance status.just barely got my estrodial injectable prescription filled on time after weeks of being told it needed additional prior auth. I spoke to my doctor's team this morning and found out the prior auth on that prescription went through around the 15th. the nurse had simply called the pharmacy and informed them that they just needed to REFRESH THE STATUS ON THEIR SYSTEM.

What a sad time we live in. I broke my 4th metacarpal bone in my left hand last night. After spending several hours in the ER was given a referral to an orthopedic surgeon my hand was wrapped with half a cast /half a wrap & a small short term prescription for the pain.I walked into the CVS on Lake Blvd. today and was promptly greeted by a very sweet lady, I didn't catch her name but she was professional and kind. She wasn't able to find my RX which happens so I sat in my car while the ER sent it over again. When I went back into the pharmacy to check back in, the pharmacist came over to chat with me. He let me know that he would not be filling my prescription for the pain meds, that he only gets so much of it & he's not ordering more & I can find a different pharmacy. On paper I can understand this but his tone, his demeanor, & just the way he delivered this information was unprofessional and rude.I felt like he thought I was just out in the world seeking pain meds, never mind my obvious broken hand.If you need a pharmacy for anything other than pain meds, this might be an okay place, but otherwise, Costco in Redding is AMAZING for any sort of prescription. Costco doesn't talk down to you, they pick up the phone when you call, you don't need a membership to go there, and they are professional & kind, CVS do better.

They have limited hours and the lady at the pick up counter is the slowest checker I have EVER seen.For some reason I cannot switch pharmacys or I would...USE RITE AID!

I found the pharmacy on Cyprus very busy. Only 1 person at the register. 15 people in line poorly staffed I switched my prescription pick up to a different location which is no as busy and closer th home, not as difficult to get to as far as traffic goes hopefully this is a better fit for me.

I am switching to another pharmacy. This one is closest to my house but it not worth dealing with the staff. It’s like watching people that are so happy with their job security that they just stopped trying and are now complacent and bitter.I gave two stars because of the kind older woman that helped me purchase my prescription.

I called in to check on a prescription that was sent over from my doctor's office and this gal I want to say her name was Linda or Lisa answered the phone I told her I was checking on a prescription got a rude statement back saying well we already talked to your wife about your meds and that you need to talk to her about it. I then asked if there was any other prescriptions ready for pickup and this gal then tells me it's not her job to look into and go through my med profile and what needs to be filled or what is ready. After hearing that statement I immediately asked to talk to a supervisor waited on hold for about 15 minutes to talk to the supervisor and all he said he was going to do was coach the gal and recommend training that was it.

I was extremely satisfied when this location was Owens Pharmacy. The transition to CVS has been painful from a customer service standpoint. Recognize and accept issues with system transition. Regardless, visiting today, recognizing signs indicating mask requirement, I was amazed, as one of three customers, I was the only one wearing a mask. Questioning the cashier on enforcement, I was told, there is nothing we can do. Hmm.. I guess I need to find a pharmacy that cares about my health.
