The need to increase the membership price or limit how many people can come in per membership at a time, the quality of people there just remind me of Walmart or maybe that's just Shasta county.

I enjoy shopping here to pick up household items. So long as I steer clear of the Giant man who is, or at one time, was an assistant manager ( he is a rude unprofessional worker, as are most of the Redding store employees).

While in the store which was very clean and the staff really nice. The samples really interesting. Normally samples of chips not done normally the other products becuse a chip is just a chip. The meat area was very nice. I would comment on some of the cheese brands but it may give away those who have targeted me and hacked as well more which is a family thing. I noticed dust on the bottles in the alcohol isles which shows a lack of sanitation in that area. The registers area was very good the self checkout I went to the staff member explained the process which I was very impressed with and more stores should adopt having a lock and employees having to unlock the register for customers to use gives the customer opportunity to ask a questiin or aid if a prosuct was forgotten and the staff will have it brought to the register. Today went in to cool off and do some shopping. The lady doing the Indian bread was rude to me as she gave a sample. All the others were nice. I did have the same people with interesting embroidery on their back pocket follow me as they normally do at other places too. I could not find the lumpia which had been their before so could not pick any up. Yet for as busy it was when I first arrived the store and staff where great. Thank you.

Nice new Costco. It is easily accessible from the highway. They had a great inventory of stock. The staff was friendly. However, some items prices have doubled with inflation, and that isn't cool.

I love Costco, but something’s been annoying me lately.
My entire life I’ve gone in and got the strawberry sundae. I love it. Recently though, I’ve noticed that the employees are being cheap.
I know they put two scoops of berries. One in the bottom of the cup, and one in the top. They told me themselves.
Today I paid attention, because I knew it didn’t seem right. I watched them make all the sundaes, including my own. What they do is trick us into thinking there is strawberries in the bottom of the cup when there isn’t.
The employee would grab the cup, fill it with a scoop at the bottom, and then dump it out so that all that’s left is just strawberry juice on the sides of the cup. Then, they’d fill up the cup with ice cream and put one skimpy scoop at the top. This way, it appears that there is strawberry all throughout the sundae, and it’s a trick, it’s only a thin layer of strawberry juice.
I watched them do this one after another, I believe one persons name was Jay.
I asked if I could have more strawberry to make up for this trick, and he said “we’re only supposed to put two scoops in each cup.” That’s right, Jay, two scoops is what I want, and you’re only giving me one.
I will be an ice cream Karen when I don’t get what I pay for. Yes, I got my proper amount of strawberries this time, and I will complain when an employee tries to be cheap and not give me that second scoop. I swear, I will always watch them now. This world is too cheap, just give me my dang strawberries and I’ll be on my way.
Check the photo for what I mean, there is no strawberry on the bottom, only some of the juice because they don’t really put it on the bottom. Cheap lies.
