My father was at Mercy and caravan provided the service for bringing him home. While in transit I got a phone call from their office stating they wanted payment before he got home. I told them he could write a check when he gets home. They stated they wanted payment before they took him out of the back of the van. I asked if they were going to keep him if I didn’t pay. They said well no. I didn’t wanna argue so I paid.They should have been able to submit to the insurance company for payment. That would’ve been the proper way to go. I felt this was intended to be intimidating.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Janelle in the office. She was very flexible and knowledgeable and helped me with everything I needed. I love caravan. They are experienced and the drivers were Knowledgeable, They drove extremely safe and made me feel comfortable.

CAUTION!! DO NOT MAKE AN HONEST MISTAKE!! JENNEL HAS NO COMPASSION FOR THE PEOPLE THEY TRANSPORT!! I made one honest mistake, and she didn't care! I had called for a ride, they couldn't return me home because their drivers "don't work past 5:00" NONE of the other Medical transport companies do that. They don't get off until everyone is returned. The air quality was extremely bad that day because of the fires. My doctor that I was seeing that day, told me that I needed to find a way home, rather than trying to find a bus stop close to his office, and waiting about 45 minutes for it to come. So I called Precious Cargo to see if they could. She told me to call the transportation supervisor. So, I called the number she gave me. When the guy answered, I was talking to the receptionist in the Dr.'s office. I explained the situation, he said he would call me back in a few. Then, Precious Cargo called & said they were coming to pick me up. I found out a couple of days later from Jennel, that the transportation supervisor I talked to, was not Precious Cargo's, it was my insurance company's. She told me that I had filed a grievance on her. I told her I didn't intend to do that. I apologized, called my insurance company. For the next week, I tried my best to apologize, explain, apologize, made phone calls to fix what I had ACCIDENTALLY done, APOLOGIZE, but nothing was good enough for Jenell!! So I missed several appointments, but guess what? I found another transport company besides Precious Cargo who is SO busy since Merit pulled out of Redding, mostly because people don't like you Jennel! Good Job!!!

This is a very fun, fulfilling job helping people get through difficult times of their lives. Working with wheel chair and gurney I am able to keep in shape. Management and co workers are friendly and encouraging. All doing our best to care for welfare of others.
