Cal's Books is a true gem and the best used bookstore in the Redding area. It is a favorite place with tens of thousands of well-organized, floor-to-ceiling books, where visitors never leave empty-handed. The super friendly and knowledgeable owner creates a relaxing atmosphere, makes you feel at home, and is very helpful. It is worth a visit to find hidden classics, support a local business, and reduce waste by selling books.

What an amazing place. If you’re looking for a coffee shop/bookstore don’t come here. But if you’re wanting to find that hidden classic or obscure book, this is the place! Carl knows his stuff and is great to work with. Very much worth a visit!
