Scheduled an appointment to meet with someone to go over my taxes. Was told they'd be ready to go over in one week, after two weeks of no phone calls, I called and they said they were still being worked on. Finally a week later was told they were submitted. After a month of not receiving any information, I called and was told they weren't submitted due to still needing a form. After frustration my taxes were finally submitted and I paid my "bill" to them. 5 months later, I received a new bill with almost double the charge than what I paid. I called letting them know I already had paid them money and was told "okay". Now just received another bill showing I still owe the remainder even though I paid my bill last year. I have called and emailed several times with VERY delayed responses. Very frustrating, disappointing and terrible customer service.

Hmm? You need to follow up with them a lot. Like Colleen as a person, but front office personnel needs some customer service training.

RUN!! This is the most incompetent company I have ever done business with. Forms filed incorrectly repeatedly, losing paperwork, late fees because they can't file on time then had US pay them MULTIPLE times. Do yourself a huge favor and find somebody else

Super happy for the services provided by Tobin and associates. I am all the way down here in Sacramento California and have had a hard time finding reliable accounting services. The ladies and staff over at Tobin and associates are fantastic. Great communication and get the job done right. Thank you so much Tobin and associates.

Camp Fire (Paradise Survivor’s!!)We submitted via paper end of February, per their request…of February or sooner ALL our tax documents!!!Submitted without confirmation or any “stuff” insurance/lawsuit etc… WAY after the fact!!! we we’re told nobody from lawyer responded, yes that’s likeky, but, also… they’re NOT known for any responses… ??♀️They extended our tax deadline (WITHOUT our knowledge!) our taxes, come towards THAT deadline (after MANY!!!! Ask Jessie for ALL confirmation of me calling them for MO THA!!!, for NO response again AND again AND AGAIN!!!!After MANY prompts, calls, FALSE promises!!! etc. we (I) drove to Red Bluff in August 31st!? and requested just give me our taxes!Oh ahem… here you go from front desk person. NOPE “THIS” is exactly what I’ve been calling about FOR MONTHS?!?!??!!! Oh okay; give me 10 minutes and ohhh okay!?!That said, thanks but NO thanks!?! You SAY you want to support us but damnnnnn your actions speak SO much louder than any words!!! ?♀️

Let's be honest....nobody likes taxes; however, Colleen does an excellent job helping me through the worst time of the year. I've been working with Colleen for the past 5 years. She's extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She also has far more personality than any tax preparer I have ever met.

I've utilized several different local CPAs over the years and had never really found anyone that took the time to review my options, that is until I found Colleen Tobin (now Kirchem). She completed a thorough review of my financials, listened to what I was wanting to accomplish, and provided my with clear and concise info as to how we can approach my tax filing for this year. She also helped me put together a long term tax strategy. I highly recommend you speak with Colleen. She and her staff are great.
