Horrible customer service. ??
Untrained rude staff especially a person called Navan Egyptian beside the counter.
I asked for duplicate mail box key and she sent me to different office (Banderas) for my replacement key.
When I went there I was told that the other office should have charged me.for fees.that was not done properly.
I came back to the the office with rude staff by KFC and this time they asked for copy of mortgage or lease agreement.(as proof of residency )
To make story short through a group of untrained staff and giving me incomplete requirements I had to make 6 trips to my house back & forth and wasted of my full day to fulfill their requirements for a simple key.
I was told by supervisor of Banderas office 'Phyles' that I will have my mail box today , by my mail man.
I have been waiting g since this morning . Nothing has been by my door yet.
I will give #1 to this awfull service out of 10.
HORRIBLE, BAD MANAGEMENT ??????????????????? ???
They should have me the copy of their requirements in writing for each transaction including
Mail box Keyn Replacement. Or
Passport replacement.
Not a giving verbally through employees with No trainings.!

This rating is for all of USPS. The number given online for my city USPS states this number is invalid (after it rings 20 times). They have not forwarded our mail to our new address because they never sent the verification notice, and there's ZERO chance to get ahold of them. You can use the 800 number for all of USPS, and they can't help at all. They refer you back to the numbers that do not work. A ridiculous clown show AKA USPS.

The Indian employee should be fired ! She is such bad attitude for no reason , her such unbelievable curry English making everyone feeling dizzy!
And the usps passport office is a ugly warehouse, some people moving packages when you get in you should have a strict security question like a prison

There was a very nice man who helped me with my passport. He was friendly and courteous. I was super nervous about the reviews citing the grouchy woman, but I lucked out and got someone else!

Terrible passport application experience because of the clerk named Bobbie. My family and I were very nice abs polite despite her being short with us , not friendly and not communicating well with us. Towards the end of our appointment I simply asked if she needed me to tell her which photo was for which of my children , as they are twins. I was kindly trying to be helpful. The clerk responded extremely rudely going on and on about how she knows how to do her job… she’s more responsible than me. I couldn’t believe it. All of this I’m front on my children, and other customers waiting. I’ve never before experienced such bad customer service or a person attacking me like that for absolutely no reason. She needs to be fired.

USPS Experience: Shades of Russia & North Korea in Rancho Santa Margarita: passport application service.
My recent appointment at USPS Rancho Santa Margarita for my son's passport application left me deeply disappointed. Despite my early arrival on a rainy day, I faced unnecessary stress waiting for the clerk, impacting my ability to pick up my other children from school on time.
The responses from USPS staff regarding the delay were unprofessional and unsympathetic. One worker even implied my time was less important than theirs. Despite calmly expressing my concerns, I received no apology for the inconvenience caused.
The clerk's late arrival and unpleasant demeanor underscored a lack of regard for punctuality and customer care. This reflects poorly on USPS's professionalism and service standards, especially from a federal agency.
The dismissive attitude echoes treatment under oppressive regimes like Russia's, highlighting the urgent need for corrective action. I urge USPS headquarters to promptly address these concerns to prevent future incidents.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR, I would…The lady who assisted us during my son’s passport photo pictorial and application was VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Seems like she didn’t love her job! We were prepared when we went there last Oct.3,2023, 2:15pm to be exact. All forms were filled out, everything was ready for a faster transaction. We greeted her nicely. I don’t see nor think of any reason why she acted that way, my son was only 6 weeks old that time, she asked when is our travel plan and why don’t we wait for our son to be 6 months old before applying a passport, at the back of our mind, “the h*ll you care? Are you the one who gonna pay for it?!”.Aside from that, she told us if we brought a white cloth because she can’t take a photo of my son that way (he can’t stand yet or carry his head), again, at back of my mind, we can hold him right? Like any newborn who’s applying a passport, there’s always a way. So we told her we don’t have a white cloth but we have a white swaddle with a few marks. So we don’t have a choice but to use that.I believe it’s not our job to provide a white cloth for a newborn passport applicant, it should be their responsibility. They should be prepared for that. What if we don’t have a white swaddle in our car? So my son can’t get a passport photo? It’s not even in the instructions on what to bring during the appointment for newborn. She was making us feel that it’s our fault that we applied our 6 weeks old son a passport and we didn’t bring a white cloth for his picture. Also, the most embarrassing part was, she took a photo of my son for just ONCE, my son was crosseyed in the picture, she didn’t even ask us if we’re ok with his photo, so when I noticed my son’s picture, I told her that “I think my son is crosseyed in the photo” ? (hoping if she can take another one), my son is not even cranky during the pictorial, he was relax and behaving so well. You know what she told us? “It’s ok, they can understand that, he is a newborn”. We were like, “WHAT??!? We’re paying for a right price and we’re getting this?!” We were so disappointed!! Even when we ask her a question to clarify things, she responded in a not so nice way. Like she was trying to intimidate you! The reason why we were asking questions for some clarifications to avoid errors on the payment because we can’t understand her instructions and her english is not so good!!! I wish I have the nerve to say that to her! I was just trying to act professionally and controlling my temper! I’m trying not to stoop down on her level. We were just observing her attitude, she was very rude on all the customers that day. She even embarrassed that one old guy for asking a question eventhough there were people waiting outside. So unprofessional! Felt sorry for the guy! Seems like she was scolding a 5 year old kid! She shouldn’t be working on that area where she encounters customers because she’s so unprofessional and doesn’t know how to handle customers! So disappointing. I will not go back to that place for any passport application.

Unkind people to do passport process

Our children needed passports and was happy RSM had a place to start the process. Making an appointment online was easy and quick. I read reviews before coming so I’d know where to go and any helpful information to make it smooth with two small children. I was horrified by the reviews and arrived expecting the worst! We arrived and a man working was very helpful and directed us to the seating area. A woman came and I was prepared to have a grumpy woman working with us. Instead came a happy, smiling and helpful, Pamela. She was a delight and wonderful to work with. I must of lucked out as the normal lady that works there was not available. Thank you a million, PAMELA! Overall, a beyond wonderful experience and in and out in 20 minutes. Tip: have multiple check readily available, thank goodness I brought our check book with us!
