“I had a big issue with my old car 8 months ago, and took it to other mechanic in Laguna Hills who over charged me for inspection and misinformed me that pistons are wrapped and the engine must be repaired, and since it is an old car it is not worth it. However, I had diagnostic from another shop in Lake Forest who told me I have electrical issue, but they cannot do electrical. I took my car to Pro Care Auto, and told the story to Jim. He performed diagnostics, changed wire harness, spark plugs, coils, and replaced the ECU with a used one for a very reasonable price. Since then my car is running smoothly. This proves how lack of knowledge by other shops can make your life very hard. I was lucky to meet Jim, knowing such an expert mechanic is a great benefit.”

“I was recently traveling through the Lake Forest area when my Toyota Tundra stopped running. It just died. I was panicking because I had to leave for home in 2 days and didnt want to be laying up in a hotel. I gave Foothill Auto a Call and they were very pleasant to communicate with. I explained my situation and about not living in the area and also suggested what I thought the problem was. They said it sounds like I might be correct, but they would need to see the vehicle. I had it towed to their shop in Lake Forest.
Within a few hours they called me to let me know that my battery terminal wires were corroded under the jacket and they needed to be replaced, which was not what I thought it was. My guess was the starter switch on the steering column. They replaced the wires and fix a corroded hose to my radiator and I was on my way the next day.
My whole point to this is, I appreciate their Honesty in taking care of an Out of State Customer. They could of told me it was anything and charged me for, who knows what and I could of been out thousands of dollars including laying up my vehicle for days and sitting in a Hotel. They are straight up Good Honest People. This is hard to come by in this day and age. I recommend Foothill Auto to anyone who needs help. Thank you so much for taking good care of me. JB”
“Came in to my appointment on 12-6-2023 and was pleasantly greeted by Alexandra the receptionist. I came in to have the spare key to my 2000 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 programed. Service was prompt & well done. Price was reasonable. I'm very satisfied with the whole experience. Definitely recommend, as they are knowledgeable and customer service oriented. Quality service. “What a great experience, we had our breaks changed at another dealer and asked this dealer (Solely) to fix the squeaking sound. They checked the brakes and make a few adjustments and didn’t charge us since the repair was minor and a cleaning only.Our next visit was due to the engine light coming on. After they did the diagnostic test, the owner said to take the car to the dealer as the work needed was covered under our warranty and it wouldn’t cost us, again no charge for the diagnostic and their time.After speaking with the owner, they believe in doing the right thing for customers and because of this belief have build a great business of loyal customers.I will always bring my business to this location andServices: General repairs & maintenance”

“Very pleased…We just picked up our fully fixed 2011 BMW from Tony’s shop! We had it towed to him where it wouldn’t start, but AAA said the battery showed power. Hmmm…Using his knowledge, expertise and patience, Tony was able to locate the problem and fix it…… not an easy task…
Just a note… there was a Massarati in the bay getting some attention when we picked up our car…. !

“I called them after receiving a seemingly ridiculously high estimate for work from the garage nearby that I’d been using for the last 15 years. I’m glad that I did. The other guy quoted me 1,350 for timing belt and they SV quoted at 1000. (A 3rd place quoted 1850).SV was also about half of what my old place wanted for rear brakes.Adolfo was the guy I spoke with. Very helpful and offered suggestions on tire replacement that also saved me several hundred dollars.They are a not a fancy shop —but who cares? I just want quick quality service at a good fair price.Very happy with my first experience there”
“Wow super stoked to have found this shop. I brought my ford to them for what I thought were transmission problems(slipping, jumping) which I’ve been putting off to fix. I met with Micheal the mechanic who diagnosed my truck and found out the real problem (fuel pump and ignition coils) he told me my transmission was good which I was happy to hear. Michael did an awesome job fixing my truck. It runs great now and I will be coming here for all vehicle related services. I totally recommend them for A+ service. Super kind and friendly staff.”
“I brought in my 2001 Toyota Camry for a smog test and a few general repairs. I knew my catalytic converter might need replacing and it did. Mike and Will were both professional and so easy to deal with. They made sure I understood all the needed repairs and the price for all of the work was more than fair. “I first came here a couple years ago when the Nissan place wanted $5400 to fix my transmission. These guys only wanted half that! I wish I would have switched sooner and saved a lot of money. Also today my car was making a loud rattling noise. They diagnosed and fixed it right away (adjusted the heat shield under the car). They didn't charge me anything!If they don't answer and you leave a voice message, sometimes they don't get it so just call again after a few minutes if it's during their business hours.”
