Staples sold me an ASUS laptop in Oct. 2022 and persuaded me to purchase Asurion insurance. Both were a waste of money. Today, I called and was transferred to Mason, their Inv. Mgr. When I attempted to explain my troubles with laptop and insurance difficulties, his response was, "I don't understand why you are calling Staples about this..." Maybe it's cuz Staples sold me both and neither works? After owning Asus laptop for 3 weeks, I brought in cuz battery wouldn't hold a charge. They kept it 3 hours and said the battery was fine. Yep, this new laptop, unused, could retain charge nearly 3 hours. Unfortunately, I actually USE my laptop for Netflix, email, etc. On March 4th, laptop no longer would charge at all. Asurion, the insurance company Staples promotes, had me ship it to their repair center in N.Y. Today, 9 days later, they return it to me stating, " not the product" insured." Say what? When I phoned Asurion, they said repair wad denied due lack of serial number tag. (Mfg embeds model number but not serial on laptop) So they transferred me to ASUS, the manufacturer, and told me to obtain a new serial tag. ??? So I'm to get a new tag that will undoubtedly be a different number, so they can deny me again? Wow, don't tell scammers how easy it may be to get serial tags. When the ASUS hold line disconnected me, I gave up. That's when I reached out to the seller, Staples, for help. Seems they'll extoll the virtues of products they sell, but wash their hands of any aftermarket issues by saying, "Not my problem!" I'm old enough to remember when stores stood by the products they sold. It's unlikely Staples, ASUS, or Asurion tries to make the end of this ugly story better, but if that were to happen, I'd update review. One can dream.... Ps. Fullb disclosure: As laptop needed for job, I took it to Quick Fix, who said I needed new battery. I purchased new one to keep working as it's hard for disabled senior citizens to find employment and didn't want to lose my job. Staples Mgr. Mason, advised me that I "voided: my warranty by doing so. Excuses for not assisting customers kept multiplying.

Two bad experiences on two separate occasions that warranted this review: (1) I submitted an online printing job sometime ago only to find out that their printer was broken on the time I was supposed to pick my order, and (2) they closed an hour early today without any customer notice!

They tell me my print order will be ready for pick-up by 8pm. I get here before 8pm and they close at 7pm? Extremely inconvenient:/

I'm writing this review solely because the team at this staples is UNBELIEVABLY helpful. I was in a huge pickle and needed menus printed last minute. This team put all the stops out and really helped me out just in time. They were kind, caring, and swift. I can't thank this team enough for their hard work and commitment to customer service. I believe Sharon was the one helping me with the printing. Special shout out to her and to Robert! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Don’t return Amazon stuff here! They don’t scan it properly or do something else fishy and the product never gets returned as it should! Amazon never received the return that I brought in here! I even called Staples to confirm they had the item and they said it was out of their hands, yet it was their mistake! I had to speak with Amazon customer service 2 times for 30 minutes each time to finally get my refund a month later. Go do Amazon returns elsewhere, save yourself the hassle.

So normally I rank food places (yes I am big foodie) But I have to give props to this team at Staples. I needed marketing material (cards, fliers) done last minute for my conference this week. These guys went out of their way to make sure I get quality (oh yeah I was building some of these stuff on the fly) Help with ideas, design and quick turn around. Given all the service issues we are facing, these guys are just solid. Staples corporate please pay extra attention to this team. Absolutely love this team and highly recommend them. By the way as I was sitting there, everyone was just praising them. Kudos

Came in right when they opened to get three sheets laminated. Right away I was given a bunch of excuses from Taylor at the print and copy center that she was the only one there and didn't have time to complete a quick lamination. I've gone to several other locations where three small sheets would take no more than five minutes, including cutting. I tried to explain to her that I live an hour and a half away and this was my only time to get it done and that it usually only takes a few minutes and was again on the receiving end of excuses about staffing and the fact that it would take her days to get the order done. Horrible customer service, and a bunch of excuses from a very unprofessional young lady. Will be contacting corporate. I've never heard of Staples, refusing someone's lamination order.

I rarely go to Staples. However, I went a couple days ago to grab some supplies for my new office. The manager was rude and condescending when I asked for assistance with some printer ink, he made me feel dumb for asking to help pick the correct model for my printer. The staff also has no knowledge whatsoever of their respective departments. That being said, this location does not deserve a 1 star rating!

I went to staples to go get my Business cards printed. I needed 5 different backs on my set of cards and I was unable to do this on the website. Eric from the printing department worked with me for an hour to get my cards exactly how I wanted them. He was really patient and explained everything he was doing. I knew my request was a little difficult but he had no problems with it. Extremely kind and amazing customer service!

No sense of urgency to help customers. Waiting at the register to buy three items. The guy had no idea what he was doing. Tried numerous times to log onto the register but was unsuccessful. Another person finally came up but went straight to the phone to answer a call. The guy in front of me asked her for help and she said he would have to wait for her to help the customer on the phone. Left without purchasing anything. FedEx office is close by so they will have my business.

I come here every now and then to get basic office supplies and paper for my home printer. Boring stuff. Recently I came here to get passport photos taken as it was time to renew mine. I guess that excited me enough to write a brief review.Staff here were quick to tend to me and summoned a young lad to take my photo in front of a lighted background. He then vanished into a backroom for several minutes and returned with my two perfectly sized passport pictures. I was glad to see my eyes weren't closed or that I didn't look quite as goofy as I do in reality. Supplies or passport photos, they got you covered here.
