I have had a lot of experience with automotive repairs, as I once was the CEO of a large fleet of cars, vans and trucks >300 units. Our Genesis was just out of warranty and I was tired of dealing with the dealer, so I took it to Paul's. Amazing service and intregrity. You can trust Terry and team to tell you the truth, and fix it right. What more would you ask for?

HONEST PLACE.I’m going to tell you why I gave 5 stars to this place. You will agree on it.I had soaked passenger floor carpet and went to first place, the technician did some preliminary check and told me it’s broken seal between car front and the interior on passenger side. Quote: $750.Second place told me first it’s the issue with ac condenser when I told him ac is fine, he checked again and say it was the drain pipe got blocked. $150 to fix it.I was gonna go with option 2 but thought I would visit this place and see what they say. I had to left the car here since they got so many customers. 2 hours later, one of their staff called me and told me it’s the drain pipe blocked and they use compressed air to fix it already and it’s free of charge. Went to pick the car and the issue was gone.Complete honesty is pretty rare for car repair business in my opinion. This experience explains why they got almost 5 stars. I will not consider going to another shop in the future.

The inspection couldn't detect the problem correctly, had to replace parts and each time they were not certain if this would fix the issue or not . I provided my parts and they did the installation but nothing was done properly. I ended up going to the dealer to get it properly fixed . They don't have the tools or knowledge to detect the issue of the car properly. Stay away

I called the shop right before opening because my car’s starter was failing. They were able to get my car repaired and back to me in the same day. Staff were kind and communicative. My car has a 12 month warranty. I recommend this shop!

Freddie and Terry at Paul's Japanese Auto Repair are an amazing repair facility. They service all of our families vehicles. They have the ability to accurately diagnosis and repair our cars at fair prices. They never suggest repairs that are not needed like other repair shops have in the past.
They recently serviced a 25 year old 4 wheel drive Toyota Tacoma truck our son was given by his grandfather. The truck sat idle for 7 years with Japanese Auto going through the entire vehicle replacing all the fluids, hoses, removing the old gas and checking all mechanical parts making the necessary repairs. Brought the truck into great working order making it a daily driver for our son.
Highly recommend Paul's Auto Repair.

I took my car in for rear brake replacement. Several hours after I dropped of the car, I get a call from Freddie indicating that my rear brakes still have 40 % life left on them and didn't require replacement. On top of that they didn't even charge me for the inspection. This should tell you what the guys at Paul's are all about: trustworthiness, and service.

**Honest Mechanic Shop**I am so lucky to have found this gem in RSM. Terry and the guys work so hard for their customers and are just plain truthful about what’s needed. No run around or elaborated story to take you for more money. I would and do recommend this shop to friends families and acquaintances. Thank you for sticking out Terry! We’ll see you next month.

I have lived close to Paul's business for about 30 years. I started using them with my 1997 Astro Van. They did everything for that Van, including all the maintenance and changing out the catalytic converter. They also take care of my daughters Corolla. My neighbors use them and trust them with their vehicles. Paul's has always been very honest with me on their estimates and their work is excellent. Once, my Astro Van gas gauge stopped working and they quoted me what I thought was a high price. My wife thinks I still live in the 60's when it comes to price of things today. Anyway, I researched the way to verify that the issue was what they said, a sending unit in the gas tank. I went back and ask them how they determined that was the issue. They quoted me the exact correct procedures to diagnose a fuel gauge sending unit in the gas tank was malfunctioning. I let them do the work and it was done on time as they scheduled it and for the price they quoted. My daughter had a starting problem with her Corolla. I jump started it and took it to Paul's to check out. They charged me around $15 or $30 to check it out and put the diagnoses charge toward the total repair. The problem was the battery and they offered to replace it for a specified amount. I asked if I could go buy my own battery and pay them to install it. They accepted my idea and I returned with the battery, and they installed it, and it worked great for many years (until my daughter got another car to replace the Corolla and passed on the Corolla to friends in the family who have had the battery for years also). All the work performed by Paul's over the years on all our cars (Prius, Honda, and some Corollas) has been excellent. I asked for a Veteran discount years ago and received one. The cars always come back clean and fixed when I use them for maintenance or repairs. They must test out their fixes well because I never have needed to return and have a fix redone. My neighbors feel the same way, that they all trust Paul's for auto maintenance and repairs. Also, I took my buddies car to Paul's that had been diagnosed to have the acetylic converter replaced after a short time after it had already been replaced. Pauls recommended a trustworthy shop that could test it and we went there, and they recommended changing out the fairly new converter. So, my buddy took it back with proof that the fairly new converter was bad, and the shop agreed that the one they put in was bad and replaced it for no charge. Paul's advice paid off. Finding GOOD, HONEST auto repair shops is difficult in my opinion. When I find one, I try to keep them in business for years, so I get GOOD, HONEST work from them. I forgot to mention that I was losing radiator fluid on my Van years ago. Paul's diagnosed the issue was in the intake manifold but warned me that after they got into repairing that issue there could be more expensive repairs than just that repair. I had over 150k miles and decided to trade it in on a new vehicle. Their honest opinion saved me money in the long run. Also, I recently went back to them and had my Prius oil changed and they let me know of some issues that need taken care of and the ones that should be done soon and the ones that could wait. The 2007 Pius has about 160 miles on it.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
