Helen Woodward is clean, the staff is so friendly, and the animals are so well taken care of. When adopting staff takes you through a detailed process and you receive so much helpful information and advice.”
“Dr Clark was personable and took a lot of interest and care in my elderly dog whom we love immensely. Dr Clark got down on the ground with us and never made us feel rushed. He went thru all the possibilities and invested an unusually generous amount of time and concern. He was methodical about what could be ailing our dog. He was confident and I felt I could rely on his experience which is not always the case. I appreciated his knowledge as well as his concern. Given that he is an older dog, I liked that I never felt pressured to do more tests than were necessary. Highly recommend him!- Sufia”

“Dr. Polo and his vet tech Natalia are so professional and informative. I called and got an appointment the same day to have my cat’s eye checked, the appointment was within the hour! My cat is typically the feisty type, but he was reasonably calm with them, and they were both so gentle with him. I can’t wait to see them again for a full exam.”
“The 24 hr emergency hospital we first took our injured cat to gave us a stark choice: $20k in specialty care or euthanize. We wanted a 2nd opinion and we’re referred to East and West. They got us in right away and, after examining our cat, Dr. K offered a very different assessment and care plan. In just a few days our cat was healing well and getting back to his old self.”
“I took my boxer to see Dr. Hall for a checkup. Everyone there was very kind and knowledgeable and very gentle with my dog. She took her time examining my dog. Not one the the practices that puts you on a time schedule then says you're done. Dr. Hall is one of the nicest vets in the area. I would recommend her office to everyone.”

“We moved from Washington state and I always look at reviews before I actually pick places or like anytime honestly and this place had no bad reviews compared than some annoying person talking about like a phone answering person like a receptionist based off of like some like scheduling issue so I wasn’t gonna base that off of my perspective so I looked at every single review. I swear to God and I chose this vet specifically off of all the reviews and I’m so glad because he’s amazing. He’s very smart and knowledgeable and, I feel that my dog is safe in his hands and I highly recommend him. I have a French bulldog and he’s been in there for surgery and he’s gonna be in there for an ultrasound and I feel very safe and comfortable with this doctor so if that’s what you’re looking for you should definitely schedule with him because I did a lot of research and this is who I thought was very safe and knowledgeable for my dog and I have a French bulldog I feel very comfortable with my dog going under knowing that there’s a slight chance they may not wake up because they breathing problems I know this vet cares so much he’s great”
“We took our cat here for emergency. He had severe and acute cardiac issue and we believe VSH offered him accurate prognosis, best possible treatment, and attentive care. Dr. Borgman, Dr. Coberg, Alexis and all other amazing technicians demonstrated great expertise, understanding, and unwavering empathy to both us two humans and our cat. Alex and all other front desk crew provided us with all the information and help we could use.
We are absolutely devastated with the outcome, but we do not regret a single bit taking our cat here. Sometimes I cannot help but think modern science is overrated (cynical, I know) and there are still so much more we need to figure out.
Nevertheless, I believe people here try their best to save lives, and that is a sacred and most respected cause.”
“What I really liked about this, Office is the doctor gave me an estimation before providing any services. She also made reasonable recommendations on what could wait or wasn’t real necessary just wanted to give you the option. I made the option to be conservative, I was still treated respectfully and not judged
The services were provided timely as well as the office appointment time
The staff were all very nice to my pets and even helped me out to my car with a heavy travel carrier and my 18 pound kitty.
The office as well as the exam room were very clean and had distractions for the pet.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. The veterinarians took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure that I understood all the options available for my dog’s treatment.
My dog usually gets nervous at the vet, but the team here made sure she was comfortable and calm throughout the visit. They truly care about their patients and go above and beyond to provide excellent care. I feel confident knowing that my dog is in great hands every time we visit.

However Dr Tsai is one of the doctor he could trust, very understanding and gentle. This veterinarian office allowing us to wait in the car, has quick exam outside in the parking lot rather than in stressful waiting room. Buddy came back thriving and back to normal after his medication, and tests.”

“I’ve been using Discovery Valley for several years now and drive out of my way to use them. I started using them when my dog needed to get his teeth cleaned. I called them on a whim and made an appointment because they were the only clinic around that I felt wasn’t going to charge me an arm and a leg. I’m from Texas and after learning that Dr. Young is too and went to Texas A&M (often regarded as the best vet school in Texas), I decided to keep using them as my dog’s vet despite having to travel 30-45 minutes each way. Recently, my dog passed away and they were so great though out the entire process. Dr. Young was on vacation and this was my first time interacting with the other vet at the clinic, Dr. Laemmle. It was clear how much she cared. Losing a pet is so hard and she and the entire staff at Discovery Valley were so great and sweet to my boy Kramer on his last day. They are fair on pricing, their new facility is so nice, and they clearly know what they are doing. I couldn’t recommend them more!”

“I can’t recommend a vet more highly than Dr. D. She and her entire staff are amazing. They have taken the best care of my “senior” Boxer since he was 4 months old. Always caring, always going above and beyond to resolve all of his issues, which have been many over the years—GI problems, cancer tumors, corneal ulcers, gum hyperplasia--you name it! Each time, she has discussed the options/outcomes with me and together we have agreed upon a treatment plan to maximize his quality of life. I wouldn’t trust my dog to anyone else.”

“FINALLY! Honest and caring vets & staff! My cat has been throwing up for over year and this is the 3rd vet I've been to. Helen Woodward was the only vet to do a thorough exam, run tests and actually treat my cat! I went in thinking I would need to put him down he was so bad,but he's doing GREAT now thanks to their simple treatment! It's also the only time I didn't feel like they were only in it for the money. The worst was Coastal Animal Hospital who wanted to do a neurological exam on my dog that I brought in for a UIT. Everypne at Helen Woodward has been refreshing change and worth any drive!”
