They should seriously consider closing this place down. I feel like I’m transferred to the 1960s . Their male delivery system belongs to decades ago. They are only open 4 hours a day in the middle of the day which means if you have an urgent package, good luck with that. It operates like a 3rd world country.

Hours of operation on their website do NOT match the hours they actually abide by. I had my husband come home from work 3 hours early to get packages for me, just to have him show up and have no one be there to get the packages from the back. Such an inconvenience and super frustrating.

The Del Rayo Plaza Post Office has limited services and exists mostly to serve post office box users, to drop off mail, and to provide self-service functions. It is tended by postal workers for 4 5 hours per day Monday-Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Last mail pickup is 4:45 pm on weekdays and 2:30 pm on Saturdays. Parking is easy in Del Rayo Plaza with access from San Dieguito Road.

If you enjoy being patronized by a extremely nasty and lazy woman (hint: her name is Desiree), I would recommend coming in during business hours. The worst experience I have ever had at a post office. Not sure why this woman is so unpleasant, but were she in the private sector she would have been fired years ago. Your tax dollars hard at work folks!!If I need to mail anything that requires a postal worker's assistance, I drive an extra 10 minutes to the post office by Pavillion's. Much better for my blood pressure.

I walked out this place feeling discriminated. I was treated very differently than other customers by the lady, I was trying to tell her my living situation but cut me off early and didn't help much when I dont know anything at all about a postal service. I'm just trying to locate a package. I went in a second time to see what other information she can give me and gave me a paper to fill out. She could've done that from the beginning but chose not to.

I am writing this review on behalf of Ms. Desiree (the only woman and clerk at the window), who I believe runs the show at this location. I am not sure if you're treated poorly, by the people in this community or you're just an unhappy person. It's almost like someone was so awful to you, that you then let your anger out on innocent customers. Anyway, I hope someday you can turn your awful attitude around and just be kind!

The service at this location has always been less than stellar and that continues today with the revised March 2019 our closing down by 130 in the afternoon. Why even have a window???

What a lovely experience! I was trying to send Easter bunnies to my Mama and sister and the mail clerk was very friendly and incredibly helpful. She took her time with me and explained all my options, trying to save me money. And, although limited, they have some pretty cards that I got to add to my package.
