It’s basically a public golf course!! Too many “members” as there are several tiers of membership offered. So it’s impossible to make tee times. And when you get a time.. the pace of play is a joke. Multiple fights and altercations happen weekly.. Bay Club Management doesn’t know how to run a proper club, so basically all money/numbers driven. STAY away from this place!!

This country club is owned by Bay Club. The Bay Club has two club locations in the SD area, one in Carmel Valley and the other one is this country club. This location offers golf and more expansive areas than the CV location. We came here for a summer party that is open to all BC members. It had bounce houses, activities such as balloons and face painting. It also offered a variety of snacks and drinks. Would definitely come again for other BC parties!

I've been coming here since 2018 for the amenities and dining. I really enjoy the cleanliness of the courts and often bikes by the pool if I want to squeeze in a workout. I've been using the dining amenities for 5+ years and have yet to be disappointed in any way. Grille Servers Ismail, Dawn, Kevin and Richard are extremely polite and have a unique skill for developing great relationships with members. I always look forward to being taken care of by this team, thank you guys.

Lot of tennis and pickle ball courts as well as three 9 hole golf courses. Nice restaurant as well

Golf course is great for the amount of play it gets and clubhouse and staff are also great. I've been a member here since 2017 and the amount of new members is probably over 1000 since then. If you want a tee time you have to get up at 6:30 am and race to chose time, they all go in seconds, it no longer feels like a country club. Course is always booked solid 2 weeks out so you can hardly ever make a last minute tee time decision. Back before bringing in so many members tee times were very easy to make. The driving range has also gone down hill, it has way too much usage, new members with family packages will take 3-5 stalls for whole family and be there for hours. If you want fresh grass on range you have to get there in the morning, by noon it is gone. Range balls are horrible, most of the time like hitting stones, when they get new ball in members steal them so they go quick, etiquette is definitely lagging with many members. Back in the day they had fresh fruit at the turn and free snacks but many members fill their bag and take it home so they stopped offering these nice benefits. For 1k per month definitely doesn't feel like a country club anymore, looking at moving to another club at this point.

Love the club. Love the people who work there. But don't buy a golf membership. You can't ever get on and forget it if need more than a twosome. Tennis and social is great. Use of Bay Club equally great.

Very enjoyable course to play. Members were very polite. Great locker room. Pro shop and restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful.

This weekend I got to attend a birthday party at Fairbanks Ranch Country club @bayclubs and I had a blast! The courses were brought to our table, open bar, live band, filet mignon and salmon, and dancing were some of my favorite parts! The food was amazing, and it was such a good time!

Great courses, played the Valley and the Lakes and a proper CC with all the amenities plus reasonable dues...looking forward to coming back.
