“Amazing help on a Sunday afternoon — I was buying a helmet and got a great option on sale, but learned a lot about my choices from this really great sales associate (idk his name, but it was like 3pm and I just bought a used bike — you know who you are!!). Got me setup with a breakdown kit, talked me through bike maintenance materials and even their Saturday riding group. Such a great spot, will definitely be going back whenever I need anything!”

“The Swim Guy is by-far the best place to get individual and team all sorts swim equipment for the pool and ocean. They have the cheapest prices for suits, goggles, fins and all kinds of swim training equipment. This is the one stop shop for every swimmer I know. As a long time customer they have also given me freebies like fin leashes and Swim Guy goggles. The goggles in particular are great and vastly superior to the vanquisher goggles I have previously used.”

“I came in to look for a soft top for my daughter's fifth birthday at the end of the month. I found the perfect board, but they said they could only hold it for 4 to 5 days. The manager (I'm disappointed b/c I can't remember her name right now even though she told me her name) and I started talk about my daughter amongst other things and the manager said, "You know what, we'll hold the board so she can have it for her birthday." It's people like her and at Jack's that make this world a better place to live. Many alohas to the manager tonight and all the staff.”
“I've been going to Racquet Swingers since 2006. I played competitive tennis and had wrist surgery, so I had to learn all new technique to adjust to my new situation. I learned from Tony, which was one of the best decisions I've made for tennis and in life. He was a very seasoned junior and still one of the most talented players I have come across in my life. He's an excellent teacher--take private lessons from him and LISTEN. You won't regret it I'm obviously much older now, but my technique and mechanics are still incredibly sound. No matter how much time I am away from the sport, it doesn't even take a full hitting session for me to hit better than most who play everyday.As a shop, it's humble and about community. There's a reason why I haven't gone to racquet clubs. Tennis has been known for it's exclusivity, which is NOT what RS is about. It's about making tennis available to everyone, which is why I come and stay here. It's accessible, affordable, and welcoming. Plus...I love getting my racquets strung here. They're fast, reliable, I know they do it right and...they're really cool people.”

“I love my glove! I got this glove for my 12th birthday - I am 42. It has been with me through countless baseball and softball games, or just having a catch - though I am not too fond of that expression - I like to say let's play catch. But I will never argue with Kevin Costner.But the glove was showing some wear and tear obviously after three decades. And my daughter Jordan - she's 8 - decided she wanted to start playing softball and she's good! Naturally athletic and made the All-Star team. I told her we could play catch any time. So we have...a lot. She pitches to me regularly and I kept looking down at my sad glove. So I did a little research and came across Baseball Glove Repairs.I think my "tune up" was around $100 with shipping, but got re-laced and cleaned up. Even selected the black laces - for some style! It was super easy - I emailed the company, they sent over all info and answered a few questions. I shipped the glove out to them, they confirmed receipt and sent me their Venmo info. I paid and they sent over the tracking code for my glove. I think I shipped it on Friday and got it back on Tuesday.Now forgive me - I have to run - gotta go have a catch with my daughter.”
“My partner and I got our very first Scuba certification (Open Water) at Pacific Wilderness and only have positive things to say! Every single person we came into touch with through their business was knowledgeable, thorough, and super supportive. Everyone from my in-class/pool instructor (Josue), the people who helped me at the shop (Chabo + DJ), and all the dive instructors (Matt, Jacob, Linden, Mark, Andrew, Josh) that assisted us during our first ocean dive were so genuinely kind! You can tell everyone is passionate about diving - they all had such great stories to share. I had challenges and a lot of fear with the mask clearing skills and the instructor was really understanding and patient with me. I felt like we were in good hands the whole time. If you’re thinking about getting your certification or are hesitating going for it, I would definitely recommend coming here! I feel like you’re coming to a community here. We’ll be coming here for all our diving needs!Also, I’m a bargain hunter and I’m pretty sure the prices for all the items they sell in store are the lowest you can buy them compared to anywhere else so that also made me happy :)”

“I picked up pickleball in the last year and started playing competitively in a couple larger tournaments. I was using Nike tennis shoes which didn't last me very long. I had a tournament one Saturday out in Fountain Valley so thankfully this shop opened early enough for me to grab a pair of shoes. The worker even opened up the shop 5-10 minutes earlier for me and was super helpful and knowledgeable on different tennis shoes I should look into. Just from our interaction in 5 minutes I was able to pick out a shoe and head out to my tournament. I highly recommend checking out this shop as they are always stocked and give off great value! Til this day, I am still using my tennis shoe that the worker recommended me. If you are looking for tennis shoes, please go check them out before going to a big name sporting goods!”

“Been trying to get time to check this place out. Wife needed good shoes for her Peloton Bike...ordering online sucks. For starters...they show opening time 10am...we for there slightly early and they still welcomed us in. Jerry and Howie were friggen awesome! Very knowledgeable, personable, didn't try and sell her the most expensive shoe ...but the most appropriate shoe for her needs. Asked Jerry some questions about our daughters E-Bikes...they have a huge repair area. And damn their selection of bikes and accessories is astounding. Again...made us feel right at home ...very sincere and legit place. Will be back 4 sure.”
