I went into the RPV location to take my car out of Non Op. Turns out the lady helping me charged me for two years worth of registration renewals with all the fees and penalties. I found this out the next day when I went to the Torrance location and they were not able to refund me or give me my registration stickers. The manager said I have to go to the DMV because of this error from the technician that occurred at RPV.The technician, whose initials are “KGS”, was a grumpy, overweight woman with the worst attitude and snark. I’m leaving one star because there is not an option for zero stars. If she was friendly and gave me a chance to ask a question or clarify what she was charging me for, this probably wouldn’t have happened. She was worse than an actual DMV employee.

We have been members of AAA for quite some time now. We really like it. We have had amazing customer service by Micheal (J), we always request him when we have any policy add ons or changes. He's been great, thanks Michael:)

After being a loyal Auto Club customer for over 40 years, I was surprised at the poor service of a recent claim. My auto was totalled by T-Bone on 190th Street in Gardena, the driver was belligerent, lying and seemed intoxicated, but told lies to his Auto Club Claims Adjuster, a 'Red Herring' ploy...moving the location, and all details to make me the liable driver! Could not get the police to come to the location of the collision, Gardena Police refused, Torrance Police refused, Carson Sheriff refused and so did the Harbor Division of the L.A. Police. They said that due to a shortage of officer's, ONLY accidents with serious injuries would be supported by reports and their services. So I hired an attorney, and AAA told him that they would not pay for injuries, due to the story told by their migrant client. He told AAA that I had run a red light (none existed) and due to no police report, the travesty continues. I was injured and received more than $10k in medical services, but AAA told us that they would not pay. LIES, blatant and misleading, are causing me continuing problems! My auto was destroyed and the settlement was low due to its age, but it was a beautiful car in superb, restored condition. AAA is not fair, will lowball you, and force you to hire an attorney to bring the matter into court. After so many years of paying full coverage with NO ACCIDENTS, NO TICKETS, and no substantial claims under full Comprehensive coverage. My confidence in the Police has diminished. They don't serve the public with service when you call them and insurance companies screw you because there's no report to deflect liars, cheats and criminals from playing dirty.

I visited to get a late registration for a vehicle that was overdue because of necessary extensive repairs and needs a smog check. The staff here were very helpful and pleasant. I was in and out very quickly.

Yesterday I called for a tow service for my RV, at 8:30 in the morning. The operator said the truck would be there at 11:30. No problem i know they are busy. I waited until 12:30 to make the first of 5 called every half hour asking where the truck was. Freeway Towing was their service provider. No calls from the driver nor any updates from AAA. So I called Freeway Towing myself to see what was going on. Finely got to speak to someone there and they sent me to their dispatch. Now we are only texting. I had to send photos of my coach and photo of the vehicle door sticker. Then after all that and at 4:00pm they tell me that they can't get me untill the next day at 11:00 and that it would cost me an additional $750.00 cash to have them tow me. Mind you I have premier plus/Rv membership. You read AAA's discription of services and it reads FREE 100 miles of towing. I called AAA and asked why there was going to be an extra charge and they said that they changed their policy and now only cover $500.00 of the tow. I'm on an automatic payment and did not see the change in the small print. Bad on me... Bad on them that it still is advertised as a FREE tow with my membership. I smell a class action suit here .....

Went in to take care of a car registration that had lapsed due to change of address. They called us up before we even had a chance to sit down in the waiting area. Carrie was great! Took care of the reg, change of address, walked out with stickers same day, no waiting. Patient, cheerful, friendly, an all-around pleasant experience. Skip the dmv, do whatever you can here instead.

First person of contact makes this place completely undesirable. Her attitude is the worse. No matter how good everyone else is she makes the location bad 6/6/23 @ 3:30 pm

The Agents computer kept freezing so she has to keep rebooting her computer. She was so flustered she booked the wrong return details for my flight home, so I had to wait 24 hours to rebook the correct return destination myself.

Location is nice and easy. We were able to knock out a bunch of different things in one trip. Passport photo, documents notarized, and some insurance stuff for an accident I was in.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE !!!Road service is no service at all anymore. I notified AAA before 3 PM this afternoon that I need a tow to my repair facility. It is now 6:30 PM and I still don't have anyone assisting me to get my vehicle 2 1/2 miles from here to a repair facility. This is not the service that I have paid for nor is it what I have been accustomed to over so many years of being a loyal, customer and member.I don't know where their failure began but after the incompetence this evening, I seen nothing positive with what used to be a fine auto service in road service company. They have been an absolute total disappointment and a disgrace. It is also a palling that, I can't even talk to a live person only bots that spew out generic messages. It is a shame that the auto club of Southern California has declined so badly and so quickly. If another service opens up, I will cancel my membership with AAA and go elsewhere.High fees, and grossly impossible, incompetent service, or apparently the norm now at AAA.I give them triple FFF
