I was given vague directions to get to a friend who had a surgery. The staff was so helpful, and kind. You can tell they care for their patients, and the hospital. The hospital is so immaculately clean.

I changed my insurance this year and the doctors at Eisenhower are in my network. I am so happy with the care I'm receiving. After nearly a year getting treated mostly for neck and back issues, including a recent (9/2023) cervical fusion, I can highly recommend Eisenhower. Their office staff is friendly! The appointments run pretty close to the time scheduled. I feel the quality of care, especially all things orthopedic - is outstanding. In fact, I interviewed a total of seven spine doctors in the last seven years in order to find one I trusted to do my three-level cervical fusion. Today, in week 7 post-op, I feel as good as I did 25 years ago! Dr Tahernia is an amazing surgeon, and his surgery staff and office staff are STELLAR. I highly recommend Eisenhower Medical and the hospital staff was excellent as well!

The office visits itself was great. However my insurance was billed wrong about a MONTH later and they were the most unhelpful, cruel people I have ever experienced in my life when trying to troubleshoot the issue. I will never ever go back there. Absolutely ridiculous the way I was treated.

Very pleased with the care my brother, Randy has been receiving. We especially love his nurse, Hannah. She's so on top of her game & is taking great care of Randy, with a smile on her face & great humor.

Very pleased with the care my brother in law, Randy has been receiving. He died in the ER 4 days ago and the Resident Doctor jumped right on him, giving Randy chest compressions & revived him! It was amazing! So grateful for bringing him back to life. It's been a long journey with life support & ICU for 4 days. But he appears to be outta the woods. Thank you, Eisenhower Health care team!

When I left- I was diagnosed with a disease. They told me they'd send me to Henry mayo Newhall and I was interested halfway. When I got there- they had no bed for me as I was told. No care setup and I was left outside in cold. I couldn't return to my care facility and had no way of finding care. I am still homeless waiting on a solution or care. Horrible bait and switch! And no caring for what happened to me. Just get her out of here is how I was treated.

I would strongly recommend never going to the Emergency Room for care. I waited 8 hours to be seen with a mid level diagnosis. The doctor I saw was beyond spent, the staff was rude on multiple occasions to patients in pain and the cleanliness of the faculty was below expectations. I completed the post care survey and provided objective examples. I called patient services to complain about the lack of care and was disconnect four times by the phone tree. I'm assigning this a one rating as the staff who took my feedback in Patient Services lied about follow up action steps. I followed up multiple times to allow them to make things right and my concerns feel on deaf ears.

Arrived at midnight two days ago as I could not swallow (esophagus stricture)or eat/drink. Took 12hrs total time, as it was a Sunday 12pm when I got discharged after a full endoscopy with GI team in operating room. After registration, immediately to vitals, then 60 min later into a solo room for meds to try and get blockage removed, unfortunately not happen. Then slept a bit, until late AM operating room procedure. Constant nurses reaffirming. Great communications. Nice attitudes. Pleasant experience. Kaiser Ins. Might be due to May off season less crowded. Being32yr small business owner, I do not hire more people during season as I would just have to let them go during 6 months off season. Thinking reason EMC might seem short staffed during our busy (2X more people) 6 months high season. Just a thought. Also clean and cool. Also, wear/bring a jacket even though its a 100+ outside. 100% Professional. RM resident since 1991. OMG now 63yo.

On Sunday, after returning from Big Bear to Rancho Mirage for six/seven months, my husband went outside to the patio and was bitten by at least a hundred fire ants. Within minutes, he went into anaphylactic shock and collapsed on the kitchen floor, bleeding profusely, and, losing consciousness. He was transferred to Eisenhower down the street where he was treated, supported and recovered enough to return home after two days! He was on the second floor where the staff was incredibly supportive and reassuring as he knew how close he had been to passing! Incredible LVN's, RN's, Medical doctors at this hospital! All staff members were kind to him and responsive. No one cut him off nor left in a hurry. He was quite traumatized having bled profusely after falling face down on his nose, breaking every bone, severely damaging a finger! I am so amazed at the quality medical care at Eisenhower. They took care of his mother until she passed in 2016. Carol Weaver Retired School Administrator Los Angeles County Administrator of the Year, 2009-2010 56th District

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Currently we are here and my son broke his ankle at a football game. He's in an incredible amount of pain and literally this place can care less. Their bedside manner is pathetic. I asked if they could at least give him some over the counter to help take the edge off. Bare minimum. It took an hour just to get that. I mean I get it. ER's are whatever. But at least have a little sympathy for the sick. We have been here for fuc*ing 4 hours and NOTHING!

What a f d up place Now it's 11 pm and I call and after holding for 5 minutes I get the nurse who tells me that he has a bad uti, and he should be discharged sometime. We'll that really helps huh! Can you believe that no one besides me told him what was wrong with him?I told him

How refreshing to have Angelica, Mirna and Briana take such excellent care of me this morning. All three went out of their way to help me. I needed to get blood work done for my Dr. I couldn't get the labs up on my phone but Angelica and Mirna figured it out. They got me right in and were so very kind. Thank you to all three of these wonderful women!

Hey Eisenhower hospital, your check in front desk staff leave a bad first impression of your level of care. I am literally disgusted with how they treat family members coming in with their loved ones before some very serious surgeries. Today, my wonderful father is getting a QUADRUPLE bypass!!!! Yes, that is terrifying!!!!! My poor mother is terrified to loose the love of her life and I drove out to sit with her in the surgery waiting room. This is major surgery that will takes hours and hours. And due to the COVID safety protocols, they will not let anyone sit with my mom while she waits. They have a bunch of reasons, and honestly it is all heartless and cruel and no one at the hospital cares. Instead of being kind, they try to make you feel like your experience is not important because they do major surgeries daily. It is not right, at 5 am, there was no one else in that waiting room, I would have been happy to leave as soon as more people started coming for their surgeries later in the day. This hospital is not making people change to fresh masks or doing temperature checks, so why are they still enforcing the 1 person rule? Your check in staff need to be trained on being kind and showing some EMPATHY, they are your first experience as you come to the hospital, and they leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. Before covid we had 3 people come in when my mom had minor knee replacement surgery. This surgery for my dad is so scary, he could die, and yet there is ZERO Compassion.

The single most disorganized hospital ever! Too many "specialists" and no one looking at the ENTIRE PICTURE. They only focus on their area! They refer you to another Eisenhower group after hosptital stay and that unit is NOT taking new patients! No one talks to each other. Too many independent doctors contracted. Visitor checkins take forever while the security guard yaps on the phone and one nurse stands there taking temps.. ridiculous. And you have to check in every time . Give people a DAY pass so they can avoid rechecking in! Discharging patients is a "process" that takes forever! Case Management people don't talk to each other. Got 3 calls for the same info from different people! Ridiculous

I understand that for many people hospital visits are not pleasant. I suffered a stroke two years ago and my mother suffered one recently. This hospital is by far deserving of positive praise and credit. One would think my mom would be President of the United States by the way she was treated. She had a team of doctors constantly checking in on her and updating us in a language that we completely understood. The nurses were so friendly and kind. Everyone was exceptional and the care and treatment she is getting is absolutely 10 stars. I have read some of these reviews and I understand many experiences can be awful and it's often attributed to The treating physicians or facilities, however in my case and my mothers. I would hands-down only send my mom or family or friends to this hospital.
