They listen to the problem, the advise you clearly on the method of examination, possible causes, tests, and when they are finished with the exam they explain very clearly and thoroughly what is going to and what to do next. Then...a day or two after, they follow up with a phone call to make sure everything is going well.”

“My two Cats, a Bengal & a Tabby saw Ms. Bradshaw at our home in La Quinta as a new client during COVID lockdown times in October 2021. I had struggled to find a Vet and she had great references. Both Cats were in need of Vaccines. She performed wellness exams on each Cat, discussed food & diet, gave necessary Vaccines. I paid full exam fees for each Cat. My Bengal needed a 2nd Vaccine and she preferred to wait a week or two. I had always done them at the same time with our previous Veterinarian in Virginia but listened to her advice. She booked another Appointment to have a Technician come to the house but what I hadn't expected was to pay another visit or exam fee on top of the Vaccine cost. After complaining, she did credit the visit fee. We moved to Palm Springs until September 2023 when we moved back to La Quinta Cove. During that time I had to re-home my beautiful Bengal as he became an escape Artist and I wasn't willing to let him become another victim of a Coyote or other wild Animal coming around the house in Palm Springs. I had called Ms. Bradshaw but the telephone number was "No longer in Service." So I sent an email on her website. It took a few days to get a response but I was told they were downsizing & since my Tabby hadn't been seen by her since October 2021 we no longer made "the list." This was a bit of a surprise to me. She only needs her Rabies shot but I like to do an annual Wellness Exam. So....we are now back to searching for a Veterinarian. All of her Staff is very kind, caring, but we had mistakes made in the Vaccine logs for which Cat received what & an error on Birth date. I made sure she updated so we didn't run in to issues down the road. House Calls are great but just know they're limited on Services. I had wanted to get both Cats teeth cleaned but at that time it wasn't an option. This may have changed now but check first. COVID was a difficult time for all of us pet owners. I sure hope she stays in the Business because all of the ladies were Animal Lovers & it showed.”

“Got my cat in for an appointment and scheduled his surgery 3 days later. His appointment for surgery with VCA was going to take months from the time of his appointment”

“Just wow! In desperate need of help, I ran my dog at 5:30 pm to get help for a toy he swallowed that I thought had a battery in it. The ER was full and wouldn't see him and suggested I drive to Redlands, but I know better that things like this can't wait. VCA turns out is a 3.5 minute drive from my house so I took my chance. I was panicked and upset (my dog is my baby) They were calming and compassionate and saw him right away! Dr Smith could see how nervous my dog Grandpa was and took extra care to make him feel calm and safe. When explaining to me the good news of the x rays Dr Smith was so patient and never rushed us out. He truly cared and it was a breath of fresh air from what we were used to. The next day he called to follow up- not his receptionist but the actual doctor himself. I'm so grateful for their services and helping Grandpa and can't wait to make Dr Smith Grandpas official vet! Thank you so much!”

“Referred here for specialty dental surgery and all I can say is wow, the dedication, compassion, and care here are just above and beyond. The surgery team stayed after hours for as long as it took to do a quality and amazing job, not even close to an off the clock once it is 5 kind of vet. Would 100% return back here if the need ever arises. Thank you again for taking such great care of Lana!”

“We took a hamster for Esperanza's sanctuary in for her leg to be looked at and make sure she was healthy and the vet staff was fabulous with her and we were a part of the plan for treatment. The atmosphere was calm compared to other VCA facilities I have been in and the Dr.Horwitz was awesome with our patient and my small human who loves that hamster. She came highly recommended by another vet in the valley as well. Here she is taking her meds happily.”

“My 3 year old dog had lost use of his back legs. I called a dozen places and they couldn't help me because of the limited amount of funds I had . I walked in to Desert Dunes Animal Hospital and the staff was Amazing to say the least. Such caring and professional staff. The Doctor was so sympathetic to my situation he knew exactly what was wrong with my baby and didn't suggest the costly diagnostic testing that other places demand. If you are looking for a professional caring veterinarian office look no further, this is it.”

“Just took in my doggy today; Dr. Smith and his assistants (I'm sorry for forgetting both of your names) were fantastic with my baby Midna. He figured out her situation right away and I even stayed in the room with her as they did a tear test on her. Dr. Smith gave me a print out of what her condition is and explained it to me in full detail with the utmost patience. I rarely do reviews but this clinic deserves it 110% and the 5 stars. Great people, and great service. It's a little expensive but it is always so worth it. Thank you all!”

“I took my senior baby here after he became paralyzed and fell ill. The vets were very straightforward and supportive in telling me that the only option is to put him down. Of course this was difficult to hear, but Dr. huston assisted by making him comfortable in hospice care until we processed and took some time to find at home euthanasia options. Unfortunately his health took a turn and was suffering so we called early Friday morning and they took us in a few hours later to put our baby to rest. The staff is extremely patient and kind and allowed our baby to be put to rest in my lap and arms surrounded by love. This was such an incredibly hard process but the staff was so kind through the whole way. They helped us through the cremation process as well. Thank you for making our last moments with our baby, peaceful.”

“I used to go to Animal Samaritans because I loved Dr. Bousquet. She was always kind to my babies, and I never had any issues. The next thing I know, she is no longer there. Finding Dr. Bousquet took me a few years, but I finally did. She is at Petsmart in PS. I have been taking my animals there - even though I live in Indio and she is in Palm Springs. All my babies are 'special,' meaning they come from the shelter after a terrifying life. They are at ease with the doctor and her staff. I highly recommend it!”

“We were visiting from out of town and this particular store seemed smaller and older. Very short staffed with 7 people waiting for one cashier although there were at least 4 other employees on the floor. After about 10 minutes, another cashier showed up. Of course I was the last person in line so the cashier was happy to get the crickets I needed.”

“Love Animal Samaritans, the No Kill Shelter. We feel safe bringing homeless animals there, unlike the shockingly horrible, awful L.A. and O.C. and Sacramento shelters where they **** them all day long. Oh but, California is such a trend-setter, right ??”

“SO THANKFUL for Palm Springs Animal Hospital!! They are literally THE reason my cat, Zoey, is alive!This was several years ago but I JUST realized that I never posted this review (its been saved as a draft for years)!We were visiting the area from out of state for a few days. Early one morning, Zoey had gone outside. It had been barely 10 min, when I saw her dragging herself back inside the house. I screamed. The fur/skin all around her hind leg was GONE. It looked like a skinless chicken thigh you buy at the grocery store. Her WHOLE leg muscle was exposed, as if her "fur stocking" had fallen down! I looked up the nearest animal hospital that was open, Palm Springs Animal Hospital, and raced over. Upon arrival, Zoey was ushered straight into an exam room and immediately administered a pain injection. You could see the instant look of relief on her face. She was in surgery for several hours. It was bad. But they went absolutely above and so far beyond for her. I didn't have anywhere near close to enough $ to cover it. But they were able to work it out with me to save her life.To this day, 10 years later, I am so indebted to Palm Springs Animal Hispital and their amazing veterinary staff. ??????????”

“I have been taking my cat to Desert Dunes Animal Hospital for years and I just think they are amazing! The staff is always friendly and patient and sympathetic to what you may be going through. I decided to write a review today because of Stephy (or Stephie). She really went above and beyond! I had expressed how much trouble I was having giving my cat her antibiotic and she actually took me into one of the rooms to show me how to do it! It was incredible! I left feeling confident that I would get it right at home and that would make my kitty more at ease too. Thank you so much to her for taking the time to do that. I really really appreciated it!”

“They got me in same day which I very much appreciated since my baby got sick on Christmas. They were up front about pricing and kind about the breakdown of costs. They didn't try and push loads onto us or make us feel guilty for what we couldn't afford. I don't know what's going to show up on my kitties bloodwork but the receptionist and doctor made me feel welcome and were attentive and kind. I do feel he's in good hands here and I appreciate the kindness while we navigate what could be wrong with my baby.”

“Stopped by to buy ear cleaner for my dog. The store was clean and the people working here were helpful and friendly. Four stars because the prices were a little high. The brand I buy is normally priced around $13, but was $19.99 here. Another product I buy is Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution for around $20-25, but here it's priced for $30. No discount for these items using your phone number either.”

“I’m so very grateful to have found this veterinary practice here in the desert, where finding a vet accepting new patients is a challenge. The people that own, run and manage this clinic are top of line, high caliber, well educated helpful individuals creating a practice of healing and benovolence for our animals.It’s well managed; from phone calls ahead of time to confirm appointments to how well they treat you when you walk in the door.It’s clean, easy to find and centrally located in the Coachella Valley making it easy to navigate from La Quinta or Palm Springs.It’s also fairly priced, and it feels like they really care about you and your animal.My dog has had the best care from Dr Homec, I’ll be eternally grateful to his expertise and guidance for my dog Harry who was diagnosed with a mast cell tumour last year, and still here doing fantastic.We had come from another vet who surgically removed the initial tumour and he was in bad shape pain wise and wound wise. Within three weeks of twice weekly wound changes and pain management, Harry was and still is cheerful and happy again. Doctor also had some magic injections he put around Harry’s wound so they’d heal better. Pretty graphic wound-doc said it was a really bad one. Knarly in fact.”
