See's Candy is by far my favorite chocolate store. Growing up in Southern California, we always had See's candy for all the holidays, and other special times. The candy is consistently delicious no matter where you get it - at an airport kiosk, or from one of their wonderful stores. However, as a resident of Rancho Mirage, CA for the past 7 years, I was so happy when they opened this shop close to my house. I go there at least once a month to pick up treats and a hand packed box. Of all the locations that I've been to over my lifetime, this location is by far the very best. The staff is absolutely amazing - both friendly and efficient in packing those boxes! And the fact that parking is easy and plentiful, well that is just the icing on the cake. This store is a sparkling gem in the City of Rancho Mirage, and the See's company. Do yourself a favor, and visit this store as soon as you have an opportunity to do so.

I'm visiting from NorCal and my grandma and I stopped in on our way from the airport. The store manager, Myra, was super nice and helpful. She not only gave us samples to try when we arrived but also gave us a few with our purchase. We got a half pound box of chocolate and the cinnamon heart lollipops. We built our own box of chocolates so we can have the ones we like. These include my beloved Boudreaux and Scotchmallows, along with some new flavors I haven't tried. Since my birthday is at the end of January, of course I picked the birthday cake. Thanks Myra for excellent service - we can't wait to enjoy our treats!

California classic since 1921! A favorite in my family since before I was born. Palm Springs lost a bit of its soul with the closing of the iconic See's on Palm Canyon. This gem in Rancho Mirage saves me from the mall, and for that I am grateful.

*See's & Desert Palm Trees*Had no idea See's recently moved into this location in Rancho Mirage...and if Gelson's wasn't next-door, I probably wouldn't know they're here. I'm thrilled...but also not so thrilled because it's going to be very hard to resist the temptation to indulge with my favorite childhood candy & candy shop. See's isn't for everyone...but it's still one of the tops on my list. There's only a few things I wouldn't eat here. But. It's very difficult to forgo my 3 all-time favs: Dark Chocolate Scothmallows, Dark Choc Molasses Chips...and drumroll please ||| Scotch Kisses -- the most underrated and least known in the See's Candies massive collection. If you like butterscotch & marshmallow (without chocolate) do the deed and you won't regret it. And here's a Scott Scotch Kiss Tip: they're wrapped in wax paper -- stick em in the freezer until they're frozen -- take it out of the freezer one at a time -- let it sit for just a couple/few minutes -- unwrap -- indulge -- enjoy -- repeat -- thank me later. However, they're pretty damn good at room temperature and in the fridge too. I'm thankful for See's because every time I step foot inside, no matter the location, I'm always immediately greeted with a warm welcome and offered a free sample. Yes please, some more See's for me. Ever since I was a little kid, I always select the Dark Choc Molasses Chips...why? Because there's 3 pieces and it lasts longer :) And no matter if you walk in to just browse, buy one piece, 5 pieces, one box or 10, they always offer that free sample. It's no wonder whenever I'm here, I feel like a (big) kid in a candy store. Love the traditional black & white uniforms & sweaters the team always wears...love how the entire shop is also black & white...it's so organized...and always sparkling clean. This Rancho Mirage location is no different than all the dozens of See's Candies I've been to (mostly Century City and Marina del Rey -- which I've written reviews for) But those other candy shops don't have Yadi working there. She is/was so sweet & kind...and such a breath of fresh air, I could barely smell all the scents of chocolate & candy floating and circulating in the shop :)Located in a nice corner strip mall on Bob Hope & Gerald Ford with plenty of parking. There's also a Chase Bank, Chevron, a few restaurants, a salon/spa, a nail shop etc etc...and of course Gelson's too. Too bad See's is closed on Sundays because I could go for some right now...I could on & on about trivial facts, fond childhood & family memories...and the history of See's Candies & Mary See dating back to 1921. But thou shall refrain (you'll just have to search for my other reviews) so drop everything you're doing and head on over there. Right now. And get yourself some Scott Scotch Kisses -- stick em in the freezer -- ignite your lips -- tingle your tastebuds...warm your heart...and fuel your soul.

They have the best assortment of chocolates around it. They're consistently great if they were any closer, I'd be in big trouble.

Today was the first day that this location was open. I miss the one in Palm Springs but was glad to see that some of the same efficient helpful employees such as James were now making this location a pleasure to patronize.
