We go to restaurants with a massive group of friends (affectionately known as our "Taste Buds"). We then order either the entire menu or the chef's favorites. At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorites and we create a 60-90 second video about the winners.
Si Bon in Rancho Mirage is a culinary delight that never disappoints! The standout dish of the night was the mussels and fries—perfectly cooked mussels paired with crispy, golden fries made this the top overall winner. The Dungeness crab ravioli with lemongrass sauce was another highlight, offering a delicate and flavorful start to the meal. For those looking for something light, the fresh papaya stuffed with chicken salad was the best salad we tried—refreshing and unique!
To top it all off, the mixed berry and custard tart stole the show for dessert with its sweet and creamy perfection. Si Bon is truly a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in the Coachella Valley!

69830 CA-111, Rancho MirageWe were at Willie's to celebrate a birthday, and they took wonderful care of us! This was in October 2024 on a Sunday evening, so the restaurant was relatively quiet. They were offering a lovely three course Prix Fixe Menu for $50, and that's the direction we went in. I went for the vegan spaghetti squash, which was absolutely terrific., One friend went for the pork schnitzel, another the beef romanoff, and a third, the flank steak. Everyone loved their meal, except for the flank steak, which was reported to be a little tough. It's a beautiful, fancy, restaurant. The perfect place for a special occasion, date night, or a nice place to bring your parents!

We were sitting outside on a beautiful morning. The table location was perfect location for a good conversation.

Filet was a little undercooked from the medium that I ordered and did not have any crab Oscar on the top. They re-seared the steak and brought a side of crab meat which was good but a little skimpy. Filet was very tender and delicious as well. Server and bus staff were pleasant and attentive. As proprietary owners and golf members at Rancho Las Palmas CC, we get 50% off dinner on Sundays at BluEmber so the value is outstanding for us.
