Emmerson’s, knowledge of pets and nutrition is absolutely amazing. He is so helpful and generous with his knowledge and time. Any item that is not on his shelf that you want for your furry friend he will get for you immediately. I would go nowhere else.

I was in the area and decided to check out this shops. It's a small owned place and you know those are the best. I went in to browse a bit and decided to buy my 3yr old Frenchie the cutest collar for Christmas with bells on it. Also got him a bone broth that he absolutely loves as a meal topper. Customer service was great! I will definitely be back to get more knowledge on what to feed my Frenchie that will benefit his health.

Emerson is the best of the best! Our Dane wasn't eating his kibble, Emerson guided us to finding the perfect food for our boy and he's very healthy and happy now! The prices are fair, good variety of great quality foods, and he's very sweet with our pup every time we stop by ?

My wife and I went today on a recommendation and we were amazed at how helpful and knowledgeable is Emerson!We talked to Emerson and he gave us a lot of information about our cavapoo that not even our vet was able to provide. Withing 15 minutes we were in and out, leaving happy and enthusiastic, and even with samples for our puppy.Don't hesitate to go, best in the valley!

Who knew we had our very own raw diet expert in Rancho Mirage? Yes we do!, it’s a couple doors down from In-n-Out.My little 6.5lbs. maltipooh, Skipper Pip Ragamuffin, has some serious suspected food allergies. The vet has been dosing Skipper up with cytopoint allergy shots till she reached 12months. She turned 1 this past July. These shots are not sustainable because they only mask the problem. The vet suggested an elimination diet before doing extensive lab work. The vet prescribed a prescription dog food. Eww, this stuff looks like old, yellowing, clear, gummy bears. And wanted me to buy an 8lbs bag of it. HAHA no sir.After much reading, many of these prescription kibbles have been recalled several times. I didn’t want to risk feeding my dog bad food. I looked harder and found that many people have had success with feeding their pups a raw diet. Now how to do it? Since Skipper’s vet is not 100% on board yet (he’s old school kibble guy)… I nearly paralyzed myself reading about raw diets and how to do it. I needed an expert fast.Enter Emerson at Emerson Pet Nutrition. He is a godsent with making it super simple with navigating the *raw food world* for dogs. He helped me put together a raw elimination diet for my itchy, picky, paw licking, pooch. We are on day 2 of the raw diet and so far so good. Emerson pet nutrition just recently opened in our community and they are a rare gem! The owner is extremely knowledgeable about pet nutrition, and carries the best brands!! Plus his little doggie olive is absolutely adorable. Our doggies deserve the best, check them out.

Love this place. It was recommended by my dog's groomer, Miriam's Poochella. My first visit was to get CBD oil to calm my high-strung little rescue dog. While there I also switched him to raw food. Both the CBD oil and the raw food have had very beneficial affects on Bailey. Emerson is very knowledgeable about all his products and, if asked, will make recommendations. His assistant, Olive, a 15 pound (I'm guessing) is a charmer...she hangs on your every (no one has ever paid that much attention to what I've had to say). If you want great service and want to support a local small business, I suggest you give Emerson's a try. He's located in the Rancho Las Palmas shopping center, just steps away from In-N-Out burgers...an excuse to treat your pet and yourself. Win, win.
