I walked into the store, with no idea in which section to look. Asked Robin to assist me with finding a product. She said "of course, please follow me." There were 6 choices, so Robin then informed me of the differences in each, to make my choice easier. You have an asset with her as an employee. Thank you.

*Clark's Knocks it Out of the Park* I'm in the Desert often, but more often these days to escape the chaos of LA...and been coming out here ever since I was inside my Mom's tummy:) I remember how excited I was when I first found out Clark's was opening up in Rancho Mirage, because I was a strict vegan at the time, and my options at other grocery stores (and restaurants) were extremely limited. Clark's to the rescue. People today are so lucky and have it sooo much easier to acquire vegan, organic and all natural products. I still laugh to myself and with others, describing some of the vegan-eating challenges and tactics I endured back in the mid 90's...all the way through the mid 2000's. If you only knew how creative and tenacious I was to be able to eat & stay vegan. Nowadays, I consider myself a flexitarian, but eat vegan often and avoid dairy & soy products (gluten too but it's hard to resist the temptation and most GF products are made with crap) And that's where & how Clark's fits into my scenario & life...and my healthy & clean-eating wife loves it here too. For me, Clark's is like a Whole Foods, Gelson's, Bristol Farms, Sprouts and you're local mom & pop health food shop, all wrapped up into one beautiful and clean spacious space. Though some of their prices are much higher than other grocery stores, they still offer great deals & savings...and I embrace the challenge of trying to save a few bucks whenever I shop here. After all, who doesn't like saving money? For example: I found 1lb bags of organic rainbow baby carrots for $1.09 ~ the same exact brand sells for $2-$3+ everywhere else. Even on my most recent stop at Walmart, the very same item was $1.89. Clark's has organic cucumbers for .99 cents each and anywhere else they range from a dollar & change up to over $2. Even at the .99 Cent Store, they're $1.29...and they're not even organic ;) Clark's also carries a wide variety of Hilary's products that are difficult to find & obtain elsewhere...and those other stores have only a couple or few items. Every Clark's team member I've encountered is so helpful & friendly and seem to enjoy being there too. My only gripe is perhaps some of them could have a better understanding where certain items are located. During my most recent visit, I asked someone where to find a particular item and was told "aisle 8" only to find it wasn't there. Then I asked someone else and I was told "it's on aisle 13" Nope ~ strike 2. Finally on my 3rd attempt? Viola, there it was. No big deal because I wasn't in a hurry...and we all learned something new. But still. There's plenty of parking right smack in front. But if you haven't been here before, it's sorta in a hidden area of a very large shopping plaza off the corner of Monterey & Dinah Shore ~ on the other side of Home Depot ~ towards Dinah Shore. Anyhow, I could go on & on with other examples and reasons why I love Clark's so much. But after reading Kimberly K's review detailing Clark's history, I shall refrain ~ so simply read her 5 star review too :) Clark's is a grandslam...and knocks it out of the park.

Well this review is definitely long over due. I live about 3 hours away, in the middle of no where. My baby was finally going to start purées and I was doing a ton of research before hand to get her the best qualitied veggies, fruits, meats and herbs. I was looking grass fed organic beef bones and marrow for her meat stock, GF chicken feet for the collagen, organic veggies and fruits from well trusted/humane farms. Don't even get me started on hunting down kanola whole milk- the only place within 5 hr driving distance is Clark's- I even called stores in Arizona and had no luck. This place somehow has it all. Clark's is so underrated and I'm glad it is, places like Whole Foods claims their products are so healthy yet their resources says differ. Finding good, clean and healthy products shouldn't be this hard, yet it is. I placed an 500$ order all for purées. My mom was driving over to visit so she went to go pick them up. There was a little confusion however, they store reached out to me the next day, they drove all the way to my house and delivered my groceries. I'm beyond grateful, since that was also the same week I went back to work after having my baby. They totally made my day, and week. This store truly cares about their customer's satisfaction. People that works there are truly great and awesome people. I can not wait to go to the store and personally shop there.

I can always rely on CLARK'S to have a wide range of supplements. There is a helpful older man there who knows a lot about the products. The store also has a great selection of unique and delicious food items, like organic spring onions. They also offer a water station where you can fill up large jugs with reverse osmosis water, and they have a variety of Kombucha. I didn't like their hard cider, but I enjoyed their OLIPOP soda. The only downside is that the baguette at their bakery was disappointing. I ended up giving it to the ducks and birds at the Civic Center Park. If you want a good baguette, I recommend going to Whole Foods Market instead. They have exactly what I'm looking for in terms of bread.* Thank you for your response. I appreciate your optimistic view on your manager addressing the issue with the bakery about the baguette. However, I doubt the bakery will consider your manager's words seriously. I am confident they will not alter their recipe or improve the quality and will continue selling their subpar baguettes. I suggest comparing their baguette to the one sold at Whole Foods Market, as there is a noticeable difference in terms of quality, authenticity, and taste. Although I don't usually voice complaints, I hope my feedback can be seen as constructive advice for the bakery's benefit. Ultimately, it will aid them in increasing their sales and drawing in a larger customer base for both you and them.
