First time there to pick up my Wish shipment. They were closed during hours of posted "Open" hours due to something being down. I am a Senior and am handicapped and walk with a cane, and sometimes use a rolling walker. Glad I did not have to use the walker as there are three narrow stairs to get into the building. So folks no wheelchair access. I found it dangerous with using my cane also, as there are NO HANDRAILS either. I found it very scarey getting to the door at the narrow landing just to find the note amongst the many (they live in overkill fear as I stood at a collage of signs of ⚠️ about not wearing a mask), my eyes finally found the reason the lights were off during open hours. The fear in me was not about wearing a mask, but if I was going to safely get down those narrow steps without losing my balance and falling face first to the bottom. More than like breaking my back due to osteoporosis. That is and always will be my second greatest fear in life. I was shaky.but made it going slowly. I guess after my pending shipments all arrive from Wish, I am going to spend more on the postage having future deliveries come directly to me . I dread going back and deal with stairs.
The place looks run down and questionable with no windows in the front. It needs to be painted. The sign which looks nothing like the picture you see on this app are not the same. The ugly blue building on the otherside with a white wall is about the best landmark as not only is the sign broken out. It in inset quite a bit. Will return to update this once I make it imside, God willing ?.
The owners had been in the process of moving to a new and 100% better location and easy access. So, I have changed my Stars to 5, as they were super in customer service and the new store is huge in comparison. Check their new location and large inventory out!”
“This store is Great. The staff is AMAZING. Went in yesterday and they were so helpful and patient with me. The store has plenty of varieties to pick from I felt a bit better than going to the market. Usually always get my WIC at the market especially the veggies because it's diff you don't have to get a whole bunch u can get single (like banana, avocado, apples etc...) But I found you can do this here too on some items. The veggie selection is ??. Plus you get a gift with a certain amt purchased. (At least when using your WIC)The only downfall is they don't carry gallons of milk only half gallons. But they have Milk so ?? yay.I definitely loved the staff the girl that helped me was so nice and the manager was cool too.”
“I'd like to give a shout out to Ana, Isabelle, and Nina the district store manager, for their awesome customer service! I've been coming to this location for over a year now and it's fantastic. The store is always well stocked, there's a speedy check out, and they're patient with you.If you're new to this and are hesitant to come to a Mother's Store, don't!! Just do it! It beats running around a regular grocery store looking for the items you qualify for. Here, they greet you, you get all your benefits within 5 minutes, plus you get a free item (whatever veggies are in stock) and the cherry on top is that they put everything in your car! Happy shopping y'all”

“I've been coming here since I was pregnant with my first child, so since 2022 and I've always had a good experience with all the employees. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The shelves are always stocked and it's always clean. The male manager is super kind and always has a smile on his face! One particular employee 'Jose' was telling me about a promotion going on and taking his time on helping me out. I appreciate his work ethic. He deserves to be recognized.”

“This Mother's Store was absolutely amazing! I originally tried to go to a Mother's Store closer to my house in Los Anegeles, but it unfortunestaly was not well stocked or reasonably priced. Thankfully, this long beach store location was well stocked, organized, and very reasonably priced. The staff are also very helpful and friendly, and even loaded the groceries in my car. Will definitely be coming back here!”

“I came here to test out the EBT Fresh Fruits and Veggies program. It actually works. You basically get $60 bonus per month for fruits and vegetables bought here. About the store itself, everyone was friendly. The young woman working the register was really helpful and sweet. She explained how everything worked quickly and clearly. And she offered to help me to my car. Some of the fruits and veggies were a great price ($2.50 for a bag of avocados and $5 for a bag of six red/orange/yellow bell peppers). Some were about the same as major grocery stores. They gave me a free vegetable for spending more than $15. I picked a cabbage. I went there around 6 p.m., and parking wasn't bad. The lot is small, but there were several spaces open. I'll be back.”
