The owner Dan and his manager Katie are an example of not only great customer service but also kind people that understood the situation that occurred. Dan made it right by not only understanding the mistake but also understanding the situation on a personal level. Katie was very kind and helpful when she spoke about my daughters classes and helped me reenroll her. We are excited to go back!

The lack of personalized teaching is frustrating. I get that it's a group lesson (2-3 students per class), however I don't like to waste time and money for my kid to do the same thing over and over again. Most of the time, I wonder if the teacher checks the student progress and what needs to be practiced to move up before starting his/her day or before the class? I made a keen observation of my kid's group lesson. There were only 2 students in her class today. The first 5 mins was spent talking / warming up. The next 10 mins was spent doing front glides which my kid has mastered months ago and no longer needs practice on. The next 10 mins was spent practicing back float which my kid needs to master, but since there were 2 of them in class, she only got about 5 mins of practice. The last 5 mins was spent doing a couple jump-ins. Again, a skill that my kid has mastered months ago. For this reason, I'm thinking of dis-enrolling her and looking for another swim class facility.Only Pro: clean facility

all 3 of my kids have gone to premier swim Academy. I really liked this place until now. my son has been enrolled since February (never missed a day until June) and he also had not been moved up levels. I was going to cancel June since I knew I had a busy month but I forgot before the 1st and they charged me. however I decided to just keep the registration. I called the morning of his schedule time to let them know I couldn't make it due to my daughters school and the lady gave me a make up token. tonight I called and said I forgot to schedule a make up and the rude lady told me "sorry we need 24 hour notice". when my girls attended it was up to an hour before class, but again the rude lady told me "no that's not how we do things." I have spent alot of money here in the last couple of years and disappointed they couldn't help me out especially since we were regular attenders for the last 4 months straight. I was very caught off guard by The customer service. and decide just to cancel. sad that they would rather lose a customer then make an exception.

Being honest... so we started here over a year and a half ago, and while there was times we missed I must say I'm rather disappointed in the progress my kids are making, not to a fault of their own but their distracted instructors. I wish I could post a video of every session, them looking at the clock and the multiple deck managers (who also tend to talk and distract the kids), paying no attention to the child they are working with. They give off an impression they don't want to be here. That said we have had some instructors that have been great, which is why I gave 3 stars. That said, even the great instructors are limited to what they can do as there is so much time spent doing the same repetitive skill because they teach to the group and not to the individual. Then the kids have to wait while taking turns (which I get being it's group lessons) but it's just another drawback to the already frustrating parts of the lesson. When it comes to make-ups it's nearly impossible if you have more than one child, unless you want to wait an hour between lessons or do one one day and then the other on another day. The only reason I felt even more compelled to write this review is the fact that while I was at another sporting event for my kids, I overheard another parent telling someone else about premier (they asked what the parent thought) and when she said aloud everything I was thinking it confirmed how I was feeling. The staff is friendly overall but feeling very frustrated that it's such small progress over such a long period of time. I've spent thousands for lessons and they still can't swim. If you choose to swim here, take my advice and go for private lessons. Don't waste your money on group lessons.

Been taking my son here for about six months now. He started in Academy 2 and leveled up after his first lesson. Then for the remainder of time he's been stuck in Academy 3. According to some of his most recent scores on the app, they're still rating him as 1 out of 3 stars on some tasks. There have been many nights where on the way home he's frustratedly asked me what he has to do to graduate to the next level. I'm not sure what a reasonable expectation is but by Premiers own evaluations, he's not improving. I see him diligently trying. Sometimes you do have to start over with a new instructor, which feels like a setback at times. And sometimes you're in a group class with 4 kids and in a 30 minute class where you're only swimming 25% of that time - you get maybe 7.5 minutes? So maybe it's hard to improve quickly under those circumstances. Maybe you just have to pony up the extra money for private lessons, I don't know. Finally he asked if we could take a break from swimming and I obliged. It is a very clean, well maintained facility and a fun atmosphere. Compared to another indoor swimming facility we tried in Corona, it felt a little pricey to me - and they just raised prices as well. But I could have been OK with that if I felt the instruction was paying off for my son and he was encouraged but neither seem to be the case as of now. We may give it a try again down the road just cuz it's convenient and the indoors thing is nice, but depends on my sons preference. He may want to try somewhere new where the team feels more invested in his success.

First heard about this swimming academy during friends' kid birthday party and parents said they like going here. Several months later wife was looking into getting our son signed up for swimming lessons and found this one with awesome reviews. We went for in person walk around and decided to get on their wait list. Took several weeks before we got confirmation back and just started mid November. Been 3 or 4 sessions now and we love it very much. 30 min. Sessions are great! Just perfect. Our red class teacher is wonderful and very clam, patient, and positive. Facility is clean, organized and staff members are friendly and very professional. Deck managers are courteous and also paying attention to the class teachers and kids learning. Our son cried when first dumped (drizzled really) water on head and face, deck managers came over and talked to teachers on perhaps other methods introducing water over head face for our son. I was pleasantly surprised. They deck managers and swimming teachers are all working together and communicating with each other. 5 stars! Please keep up the good works, you guys are doing great. Highly recommended!

As places opened up again, we re-started swimming lessons for my son (who was previously with a well known place in Rancho Cucamonga) as well as beginning swimming lessons for my daughter. We loved a couple of instructors at the other place, but we also experienced many that were not that good and we had no voice in who instructed our child. There was also no specific plan or consistency. That's why I love premier swim academy. In general, most instructors are good, high quality ones. If you happen to not like the one instructing your child, you find another time with someone else (something we could not do at the previous place). All the instruction is extremely systematic and you level up as your child learns particular skills. They will even schedule an assessment if your child is taking too long to level up!

Here's an honest & thorough review. On the lessons: my children are eager learners, love to swim, and work hard every time they have come. If a child has a can do attitude there is really no reason why they shouldn't grasp a concept within a reasonable amount of time. A few months? 6 months? It's been over a year and we're still not there. Skill building and mastery is not happening here due to the instruction format. A kid does a skill, gets told how to correct it, then they move on with little often no chance for better repetition of the corrections. So they basically have to remember the corrections for a week until the next time they attend. No matter what skills they have already mastered, they practice the same routine each week, limiting exposure to the skills they need more practice on. It's sort of like if a kid understands that 2+2 is 4, and they can't figure out that 4+4 is 8, this instruction will continue to rep the first problem & not work any longer on the second in hopes the kid will eventually get it. I spoke to multiple managers about this and was told that this is the way with group lessons and the only way to deviate would be to go with private lessons. So I did. We did 3 over the course of the past year. No difference. For a school with a rewards based academy system, it's been extremely sad to watch my kids get discouraged each week as they don't "level up", even though they have mastered nearly every skill but one (and don't get any extra help with that one). Wow. We've been working on that last thing for over 6 months. Perhaps at some point it's actually *not* the child's fault and a new way to deliver the instruction for the skill would be appropriate? Just an observation here, but tons of other parents have said this or similar while watching our kids each week. On management: everyone I've spoken with has been kind and understanding but can't really do anything about anything. This swim school is tuition based. Even if you know you're going on vacation, you can't simply not pay for that week. This would be fine, as their solution is to issue makeup tokens, except that scheduling here is an absolute nightmare. Getting what you've paid for is the exception. Once you get a weekly slot that works, you keep it, because if you try to switch you'll be out of luck. If you try to schedule a makeup lesson and you have any other after school activities, or God forbid, two kids you're trying to get in, best of luck to you. 6 days in advance is what's offered for those makeup tokens and nothing further, so if they can't find a slot that works for you within 6 days, you're out of luck until the next 6 days and you have to try to call in to get the next weeks openings. Have I mentioned no one answers the phone? So you get voicemail. Have I mentioned no one responds to the email on their website? I've tried it. 3 times. So.. here we are, getting ready to move out of state, with 8 makeup tokens from the entire years worth of tuition we've paid in advance, and no way to use this because the schedule available won't allow us to. All I want to do is receive the service I've paid in advance for, but alas- above's scheduling challenges. These makeup tokens are, of course, non refundable & cannot be used for classes in your current schedule. I know of no family that has perfect attendance. You must be a current student to use your tokens, so you can't use them for future lessons & stop paying tuition. Oh, but you can use up 2 makeups & schedule a private lesson they tell me (and I've done!), but then you're spending $50 on a private lesson. Just sayin. Clearly, this is a business, I understand, but again, all Id like to do is revive the services for which I have pre-paid. I'm told that the 6 day advance is because they have to wait for folks like me to cancel last minute- so the school is already booking teachers & there aren'

great customer service and clean facilities. water was pleasantly warm. we had done some swimming lessons for my baby in Rhode Island that was all built around songs and games. they don't do as much of that here so if you're looking for a more playful lesson this might not be a good match but the instructor was friendly and enthusiastic and they focused on important survival skills I want my child to master for pool safety.

In 4 months our daughter has been able to progress 2 levels! In such a short amount of time, her skills and techniques in swim class have improved quite drastically. Our family loves the ENTIRE staff at Premier Swim Academy. We would highly recommend this establishment to any parent or child that is serious about teaching their child the basics/survival instincts, or if they want their child to have that competitive edge and spirit in swim. Our daughter has worked with Coach Emelly and we cannot say enough good things or praise about her. She is so fun and encouraging but also expects her students to work hard every lesson, so that they can progress to the next level. We highly recommend her! But again, the entire staff is wonderful. They greet you every time you enter the building and they are very knowledgeable in everything swim related and very courteous. For anyone who is curious, this establishment does follow CDC & state mandates regarding COVID-19 and our family in particular, appreciates & respects that.

My daughter has been attending classes at Premier Swim Academy for just under a year and we are so pleased with her progress! She began with Academy 4 and will begin Academy 6 classes today. Watching her take instruction from her instructors and improve each time she goes down the lane is so awesome to see. So grateful to have found such a great place close to home.
