The staff are very friendly! You can tell they genuinely care about the well-being of your pet. Many other veterinary offices can be very mean and judgmental but everyone here was very kind and didn't treat me like I was stupid. My cat Pearl is very skittish when at the vet and they weren’t mean to her, they tried to calm her down and were very kind. Everyone here, and I mean everyone, is absolutely amazing!

It’s hard to come across such caring, kind, and helpful vet clinic, they are so attentive and they are easy to get in contact with, super friendly staff, that care about your pet and your concerns, so glad I went and got peace of mind. Will recommend!

The staff at upland hospital are so caring and the drs do not try to over sell. In two occasions they had recommended less expensive procedures then what I expected. The staff's friendliness and the Drs time they give are above satisfactory They always explain everything in great detail and allow time for questions

I just don't know how to explain the call I just had with a woman at this vet office. It was so incredibly bizarre! I had to tell this woman at least 6 times in the conversation that my dog needed to be sedated before she could be examined, vaxs, etc.My baby is a rescue dog who was traumatically abused & abandoned as a pup. This woman (forgot name already) was attempting to diagnose my dog over phone because I told her my dog needs sedated in order to examine, etc...I stated I needed standard annual exam, vaxs, nail clip and her coat (fur) combed thru. She said a hair (comb thru) for a sedated (knocked out completely) dog was from $60-$90. I inquired what are u charging for? Most vets charge $20-$30.It was so bizarre! It's like she or the office have never dealt with a traumatized dog before. The 'final straw' on this call was trying to charge me $90 for a short haired comb thru!Sad, this DVM sounds like great guy. One would not know from this above conversation. Your staff really makes or breaks you when it comes to gaining clientele.Really research everything before making a vet visit. Can one even imagine in this covid-19 economic time paying $90 forsomeone to comb thru your fully sedated dogs' fur? This is on top of the $400 ++ already to be charged!!!!!!!Whoever this woman is...she is middle aged? Another lady answered the phone initially. It was another lady I talked with.Stay safe everyone.---------------------------------The below response to my thoughtsabove from the office/business is sooff the mark.Of course you do not have a visit fromme. As a responsible pet owner for 60 yrs.,I would never bring my traumatized 'baby'to you after what I experienced with thiswoman on the phone.I knew what standard pricing is for theannual vaccinations, visit etc...I neededfor my pet. What I incurred from thiswoman regarding my pet needingsedation was 'just unreal!' No one'pressed' anyone for pricing. **I askedfor standard pricing of you as I havefrom any other vet I have contacted!**I needed approximate pricing forsedation for an 86 lb. canine.Thiswoman could not get it thru her headthat: I have a traumatized rescue dog.My dog has lasting effects from thetraumas she sustained earlier in her life.I phoned this vet because he had suchgood reviews concerning compassion, etc. My point of writing this review:Folks like myself who have 'rescuedabused pets' incur substantial expensein vet expense to begin with. I knew mycost for care would be up there. I wasnot naive. I was very open about mybabies needed care. What was unacceptable and an alarmfor other parents of 'abused' babiesis the conversation with this unnamedwoman representing you the 'vet.'When I expressed sedation wasnecessary to examine and vax my baby, this woman actually stated to me - itsounds like I have not done enough toproperly treat the underlying causeof her traumas!!! She could notcomprehend the impact the traumashave had on my baby. I expressed Iadopted a pet who exhibited 'severeattachment disorder.' That is a veryobvious sign of abuse or lack of LOVE!The County I adopted my pet fromstated in the adoption paperwork someof the known abandonment/abuseissues.I phoned your vet office for standardpricing. This call took on a disturbingturn with this woman when I expressedmy baby needed sedation in order tobe examined, etc...My point to you & the public:You have lost my business before it hada chance to grow & flourish. This womanI spoke with is not a 'glowingspokesperson' for your vet office. Shewas a complete turn off! I am just at aloss for what her name is. I apologizefor that.Thankfully, I found a nice competent vetwho cared for and sedated my baby asneeded to prevent any further trauma toher or myself.
