I've never been to the Spider Room store itself, but I have done business with its owner (Matt Padilla) many times and he always exceeds expectations. He is an exceptionally honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate seller who has sold me some incredible animals over the last few months. I have not lost a single one save for a solifugid that I expected to die anyway, and it's always a pleasure to see him and his company at shows. I highly recommend the Spider Room for its astounding variety of animals and brilliant service-- you cannot go wrong with it!

Absolutely love my western black widow!!! They shipped her the very same day I ordered and were very quick to reply to my emails. She came healthy, responsive, and well packaged. It was obvious she had been fed and cared for very well prior to shipping.

I like how nice the guy that helped was. He was talking nicely to me letting me know about the difference of the tarantulas that he has. And he was showing me a few different kinds of Tarantulas. He also did a good job letting me know that he has cages for tarantulas plus the soil to put in the cage too. So when I was thinking in what tarantula I would like to buy, he was letting me know how long the male Tarantula can live and how long the female tarantula can live. So I bought one Arizona blonde tarantula together with one cage and a bag of soil for the cage. So I will definitely recommend this spider room store for all the good service the guy did.

Owner was very nice and very educated on the spiders. He was a grate help and knew everything unlike a lot of breeders in California that I have talked to! He’s very professional! The building is inside a building so like another little room so I was kinda hard to get to I only got in because he walked out randomly there is no number so maybe on the poster outside is add a room number or phone number ♥️

I ordered from here a couple months ago and I was really happy with the experience. I ordered 30 slings and every single one showed up alive and well. Packaged great. They have a big variety of species available at a good price. I will be coming here from now on

Great as always...My to when I'm looking to add to my tarantula collection...Always well inventoried with best prices around...Matt Padilla provides not only excellent choices and customer service,he is also never too busy to answer questions on tarantula care etc...F/N:The shop is now Eresus Spider Shop...Regardless of the name change still the same great service as before.

I'll never buy a tarantula from anyone else. I've gotten 6 from Matt so far, and will be getting another 6 soon. He has the best prices, he has species I never see anywhere else, and his customer service is always superb. I personally make the 2 1/2 hour drive to pick them up, because I'd rather not pay for shipping (I'd rather get another spider).

Matt is the best! Hands down best arachnid shop in the IE. Great selection, fair pricing, and all the gear you need for happy healthy inverts. Matt is as knowledgeable as he is personable, and can guide even the greenest keeper through proper housing, husbandry, and species choices. Need a rare species? Matt can probably find it for you. He's also super quick with communication, and really goes above and beyond to make sure you get the right inverts and the right care. No other shop compares!

As advertised; it's a room full of spiders (and some other bugs). Do yourself a favor and plan enough time to browse here because there's probably over 200 different species in stock at any given time.The guy who works there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us pick out what scorpion was best for us after explaining the differences between a couple dozen species in stock.
