Trustworthy and honest shop! I called around looking for someone to repair my truck after my Ford C6 transmission failed catastrophically leaving me stranded on the side of the road. After calling several places, Ismael made me feel comfortable over the phone and gave me ballpark quotes from the worst possible scenario to the best. I got a tow and drop off for my truck that same day (Thursday). They were able to get me in right away and told me that they would have a diagnosis by Friday and most likely repaired by Monday. In less than 24 hours they had my truck completely repaired, test driven, and the total was less than the original quote! These guys had the entire job completed early, under budget, and done right. Ismael and Roger went above and beyond for me and I cannot thank them enough.Service: Transmission repair

Do not use this place!!! The owner is rude and a true piece of garbage. He runs his mouth like a tough guy and curses at customers. Zero customer service and I wouldn’t use this place if it was the last place on earth!

I went there to get a quote after getting the quote I asked for time to think. Next day I reject the quote and try to pick up the car but Ismael the owner refuses to give me back my car. I ended up fixing it with him only to have the transmission break a year and 5 months later. I had to get a new transmission done by an honest mechanic this time. I bet those 5 star reviews are fake. I saw one calling him honest he is anything but honest. Be ware

Last Thursday I was recommended to Karl’s Transmission by my automotive technician (Al’s Automotive, aka Jesse) because my transmission had went out on my 1990 Corvette, he told me Karl’s Transmission does all of his transmission services, I spoke with Ismael at Karls transmission and was impressed with the questions I had about his service and explanation of how some shops quoted a price point of $1,400 - $1,800 for a transmission rebuild and the difference in what he charges (cheaper is not always better), he spent a lot of time educating me on my transmissions and other and how he exchanged all components of the rebuild kit and very confident in the quality of his work and how he warrants his labor and parts and to date I haven’t found anyone who has brought back their transmissions with complaints, I was told to bring my car back in two weeks just to ensure there was not issues, it took him three days to complete the job and he save the components of my transmission for me to see and was very specific about educating me on what had cause my transmission to fail, thank you Ismael for your good customer service.

Are you kidding me? Not only is the best transmission shop in all of Southrrn California, it is the most honest and friendy place i have ever been to. And the guy who took care of me, Mayo, had me laughing the entire time i was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honesty and quality.
