beware of nicole — she completely destroyed my hair and didn’t do what i asked for. instead of taking off 1 inch she took 4-5 and didn’t blend the layers so i look like i have a mullet. my hair reached the middle of my back and now i have a bob with a few long strands. do not go to her at all, and especially if you have curly hair because she does not know what she’s doing. i’m going pay more money to go to another salon to have someone fix it but who knows if this is even fixable. i can’t stop crying over how she butchered my haircut

I had a wonderful time looking for engagement rings here. Martha at the jewelry counter was so helpful and patient while I tried on different styles. She made the whole experience comfortable and fun. I highly recommend looking at the jewelry here and asking Martha to help you.

I was compelled to leave a review for JCPenney after reading some negative ones because my experience couldn't be more different. Every time I visit, I'm greeted by helpful and friendly staff. Whether it's browsing perfumes and cosmetics or exploring the jewelry section, I've always been assisted by kind individuals who go out of their way to ensure I find what I need. The photo section is another highlight. I've never had a bad experience there; in fact, it's always been great whether for photography or at the jewelry counter. Overall, JCPenney has consistently provided me with positive shopping experiences, thanks to its helpful staff and quality services. It's my go-to for all things photography and jewelry-related.

The portrait department needs to fire the teenagers working there. service here was terrible. A young lady probably 18 with short bangs and blonde and brown hair yelled at me that she was still on her thirty as soon as I approached the desk. I was so shocked by the immediate reaction I walked away. Later that same young girl was giving me nothing but attitude when go over the photos I was paying for as a gift to my a family member she wouldn't acknowledge the things I said. Gave me attitude over coupons and I ended up paying so much 170 plus for no physical photos because she argued I wouldn't get these prints until march. There was no value here at all. Definitely have better luck buying a camera and take my own photos and developing them at Costco. The photographer touched my nieces face with her dirty hands without asking. She's 2 months old. She also couldn't bother to get up and move props around so she would ask my sister in low who was the subject of the photo to scoot stuff around. This is outrageous.

The service was hard to find. Not many employees. We waited to pay for our items but when we got to the register the lady said we had to go to another register. She said only jewelry at her register. However, the customer before us had other items. We finally found someone to ring us up. It's very hot in the store and no where to sit if you can't stand for long a time. They do have lots of items in clothing to choose from. Not so much in appliances. The value is pretty good on many items.

Stylist Kyra literllay butchered my hair. One side is long and other side is short and I am having an event coming soon and my hair looks so awful. Been to this saloon for pat 4 years and this is the firsttime am having such a bad experince. Uff.

Came in last night(10/14/23) at approximately 8p-9p. I was able to locate the merchandise that I was looking for and with the assistance of Representative Ayla was able to locate merchandise and resolve an issue in regards to this merchandise(Men's Levi Jeans). The customer service she provided was excellent and went above and beyond. It is her detail and priority to customer service that will cause me to return to this JCPenny in the future. (I would also like to acknowledge the friendliness and assistance of all the Representatives I encountered last night including the return/exchange representative at the upstairs service desk]. Thanks and God's Blessing to you all.

Went to take 8 month old photos today. The manager Angie was good at making the baby smile, but not so nice to the parents watching. The check out portion was a nightmare. The manager was not patient at all and after a long condescending discussion ended up being wrong about pricing, but did not apologize. She ruined what should have been a cute special moment. One star for making the baby smile. This location is convenient and there is a nice large waiting area, but unfortunately, I won't be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT ORDER ANY FURNITURE ITEMS from JC Penney. The quality is poor. The return service is HORRIBLE. I was provided with a return slip stating I can return to any JCPenney near me. I packed the furniture and loaded it and carried it myself to JCPenny to be told I cannot. I then had to carry it back home up my flight of stairs. Today, I call to request a UPS label to return and I am told there is a $175 fee. A repacking fee for a dining set that looks cheap and is not worth $175 let alone the $485 I paid for it. Do not be fooled. I see why there is no furniture store where I can see the furniture in person. I was then advised to take the boxes to UPS. I clearly stated that it is highly unusually to return an item through UPS without a label. The supervisor then told me UPS can print a label. We then carried these boxes weighing 43lbs, 15lbs and 15lbs back down my stairs, load my car and then get them out of my car and carry them into UPS to be told exactly what I was afraid of. A label is needed and UPS cannot print one. I stood in UPS WHILE on the phone with JCPenny Customer Service over 1.5 hours. Explaining the entire scenario again. This is not how I wanted to spend two of my mornings. This has been the worst customer service experience after ordering online in my life. I was even to the point of being willing to PAY for these boxes to ship, but still JC Penney could not provide me with an address or shipping information. When finally a label was provided to me via email. I am waiting now to see when they fail to provide me a full refund and charge me after wasting my energy, time and causing me to have to carry boxes back and forth because they provided me with incorrect information multiple times.

Unprofessional workers... here's my experience..
Today I looked up a product online to purchase for pickup. Online it says "out of stock" but I called the salon to make sure and the woman who answered, confirmed they had 1 left and asked if she'd like me to hold it. I said yes but I'd like to confirm they will honor the online sale price wich was a $5.25 difference. She said she'd have to have a supervisor approval and I asked if I may speak to the supervisor myself on the phone to ask so that I don't have to use my (now more expensive gas) and go in first without confirming. They had me on hold a while, another woman got on the line but didn't offer to help. I said yes I'm still waiting for the supervisor and finally when the line ended the hold status it began ringing, and ringing and ringing to no one's answer. Did the salon close, did all the staff disappear? Or did they simply want to avoid my simple question by having a supervisor simply pick up the line and do his/her job in which I'm sure was a simple answer to my question. Is JC Penny Salon holding onto inventory? Do they want sales? The service here, I felt was not helpful and did not provide what could have been a simple confirmation. I'd rather go up the street now to Ulta Salon, even if I had to pay full price there. Thanks Staff at JC Penny Salon for showing how you provide service even on the phone so that I now know never to spend my money there or recommend you .... was 10 minutes long to wait?.. Not that long. Could I have just walked in? Yes.. but that wasn't the point... as a consumer who wants decent service and the best price especially at this time in our economy, I don't want to deal with a business that plays games, or avoids the service they should be able to provide.

Wow. I've never thought to even come here for any hair treatment before because let's face it, most of us just dont remember that there is a salon inside Jc Penney. Lol. But today i really needed a hair cut very badly! My hair stylist was fully booked and I just needed one done asap so i decided to call in first for availability. Called on a monday and was able to get a slot in. Jasmine did my hair today and though i was a bit skeptical just because im so used to my own hair stylist, that i decided to trust her. She spot on got everything i asked for and more! She did a simple hair cut 2 inches off, then added layers, blow dry and done. I feel so beautiful and my hair is soft and healthy again! Thanks Jasmine for taking me in tonight & making me look gorgeous!! You are a miracle worker!
