The place is clean and the prices are reasonable. I would do some research before hand on what your pet might need before coming here since they might try adding extra stuff that your pet might not need. The workers are friendly tho. I have been taking my cats here for the past year and they handle them with care. One thing that is inconvenient is that they don't do walk ins. Plan ahead.

I absolutely love Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital! My dog is very accidental prone so this hospital is a godsend! They are always available on the phone and if we can't get same day appointments, we can guarantee get same week appointments. We've been coming here for 3 years now and never had a bad experience.

Very kind and patient. Took in our dog for vomiting. They gave us the right medication, and guided us through the recovery process. Very helpful.

I have been bringing my pets here for 7 years now and have always had a great experience. The staff here are always professional and pleasant. I had one of my pets pass while under their care and received a beautiful condolences card from the staff. I really appreciated it.

In short, Rancho Regional is overpriced, unorganized, the staff is rude, and they have no issue wasting your time. If that's enough of a review, scroll past. If you'd like specific details, read on. I don't think I have ever waited less than 10 minutes on hold when I called the office and the wait times in the waiting room for appointments were also often way past the appointment time. The front desk turnover is ridiculous; it seems like a new person almost every visit and they never seem adequately trained to do the most basic tasks. The two "veteran" front desk staff were almost always dismissive and unfriendly. They are also really expensive. Like, thousands of dollars for feline dental cleaning. $50 to take a blood pressure, administer a fluid injection, etc. I researched the cost for these procedures in my area and this is definitely the top end. Second, I swear the clinical staff have no idea how to communicate care to owners. Dr. Contreras diagnosed my cat with kidney disease and told me in a voicemail that she would need a new diet, multiple medications, and weekly fluid injections. I called the office (and waited on hold) several times to try to get specific instructions and only got one call back with the instruction to call again. I wrote an email stating my concern and that I would likely seek out another provider if they couldn't give me care instructions for my cat. This went on for FOUR weeks before I finally asked to transfer to a different doctor. That's a full month after diagnosis my cat didn't get medication or correct care instructions. Dr. Chazaro called right away and gave me brief instructions for what to do for immediate care. She told me to schedule a vet tech appointment to begin giving the cat weekly fluid injections and that they would explain in more detail about her treatment plan. Given the typical wait times, I planned a full hour for what they told me would be a 15-minute meeting. When I arrived, the vet tech had no instructions and none of the materials or medications ready for us. He asked me to wait which I could not do. We agreed that I would leave her there and pick her up an hour later, but that I would need to rush check out due to my work schedule. I called on my way back and told the front desk person I needed to leave right away. When I got there, nothing was ready and I waited another 15 minutes. I was late to work and I still also didn't get full instructions on continued care. They had Dr. Contreras, the vet I asked not to work with, call me to follow up and she was very short and rude when I asked basic questions about medication course and prognosis. A few weeks later, I tried to schedule a neuter appointment for my puppy. The receptionist (another new one) was there by herself and didn't know how to make the appointment. She asked someone what to do and they told me I needed to call with his weight before they could make the appointment. I weighed him and waited on hold for 20 minutes before my call was answered. The same receptionist then told me she couldn't make the appointment and I would have to call back the next day. It took another call (and another long wait) to make the appointment. I was hoping this was all just growing pains and one bad doctor. Unfortunately, my experience last night was the final straw. While I sat in the waiting room, the receptionist was very casually talking to someone else. I had no choice but to overhear their whole conversation, curse words included from both the receptionist and the other person. When it was time for me to check out, the receptionist immediately got to work scheduling several sessions for the other person. They literally chit chatted loudly, and rudely, for 15 minutes and now expected someone else to wait several more minutes to check out while they finally got to the business of scheduling appointments and taking down information. The patron acknowledged that someone was waiting but the receptionist said, "it's fine" and then the two of them took se

We love our regular vet but their hours recently changed and we can't go during their regular hours. This place is open until 8 pm weekdays! I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the day after I called due to my my cat's illness. We did have to wait quite a bit, but they had tried calling me earlier in the day, asking if we could come earlier (I wouldn't have been able to come earlier anyway). Regardless, we met Dr. Pan about an hour after our appointment time, and he spent more than 30 minutes with us, carefully reviewing our cat's medical records, our description of his issues, and viewing videos we took. At the end, I received a comprehensive treatment plan with medications. I felt confident that Dr. Pan, despite being incredibly busy, had spent a significant amount of time studying my cat and his issues. I felt he really valued my pet's well being and I walked out of the hospital two hours later feeling optimistic that my cat will be soon be feeling better. Vet offices are really stressed right now and so I doubly appreciated the time the doctor took with us. Also shout out to Alice, who did blood work (they have an in-house lab which really saves time) and was good natured about the fact that my cat, having had enough of being poked and prodded, finally bit her. She was really nice about it. The front office people were great too. Thumbs up!

Be prepared to be kept waiting and be overcharged for services. Last visit took over 2 hours. 45 min to be called back. 20 -30min in the room waiting for a vet. 15 min with the vet and then told to buy many items that probably weren't needed. Another 20-30 min waiting to be seen by the front desk to check out. Disappointing practices!

Unfortunately we won't be coming to this hospital for our dog anymore after several years of bringing her here. We came in for a normal nail clipping, and the person handling her cut her paw deep enough for it to bleed. We had to go to a separate hospital up Haven to get her treated for the cup, as it was deep enough to be concerned for infection.
