“This place is incredible, stumbled upon it the beginning of this year. I’m from Sonoma County and this is a must-stop for me while I’m passing through the area every time! Wish I lived closer because I’d go every day! Monique and all the staff go above and beyond to make connections with customers and to keep the place flowing with fresh new finds! My absolute favorite thrift spot and cannot recommend enough!!”

“This place has so many beautiful items, and the owner, Colby, is so helpful. He really is a beautiful man. He went out of his way to help me find what I wanted and surprised me with his immense generosity.”

“Very clean and organized by colors. The clothes are at a decent price of $4-8, but in my opinion I think it shouldn’t cost that much for a reg t-shirt. Prices for furnitures are very affordable. You can find a nice drawer for only $30. Friendly staff. I would recommend coming here.”

“I'm a big thrifter and love to shop in every states local thrift stores. Stumbled upon this little gem while exploring there area. They have serval locations. Nice selection of career clothing, trendy styles. Plus, jewelry, men's clothing, and a separate area in back for boys & girls clothes, infant & toddlers too! Store was clean and organized which I appreciate while browsing. Didn't pick anything up today. However, I will definitely be back. The pricing is super reasonable and additionally this chain supports women and children. So, this is an even better reason to purchase and donate your items here.”

“I stopped in here wanting to drop off some clothes and just browse around, I thought the shop was very well organized and very clean. I wish that the selection of clothing was a little bit younger, but it may cater to an older crowd. The overall prices are decent, and I'm sure you could find a thing or two here, I was looking for clothes and couldn't really find much, but I'll be back!”

“I found some really good stuff for work here. Good brands and nice quality. I paid $2.90 for most of the pants I got, except I think they charged $4.90 or $6 for some brand new (still had the tags) pants from Express. This store may not look like much, but they have nice quality stuff for cheap!”

“Such a fun thrift shop to explore! I managed to pick up an amazing vintage Made in USA dress with a style I always go for when thrifting, cute compact mirror, watch, and purse and although I spent more than I usually do while thrifting, these items you really can't find anywhere else, as is true when finding treasure while thrifting. Store has a lot of stuff to look at which I'll spend more time browsing next time. They have clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, unique vintage home decor and just fun and interesting things to look at that are a part of history. The cashier was very sweet and friendly and made the shopping experience more pleasant. I'll definitely be back!”

“You can find anything you're looking for here. Items are very cheap compared to anywhere else around the area since it is a dollar store. I would highly recommend visiting the candy section.”

“Finally visited this thrift shop. Bought great wooden pant/jacket hangers at nice price ($4 for 5 and there was more) and three puzzles ($3 ea and there were many more). Generally quality items, mostly very good condition and the shoes were quality brands. Lots of stuff from the 80s (especially clothing) gave me flashbacks. Overeager workers/volunteers. I really like to be left alone when I shop. When I decided I'd hand them my items while I checked out the shoes (good condition, many like new, though spendy $35+), they wanted my name - no thanks. Place isn't large nor are the racks or shelves crowded. Parking along the side (coming from I-80, enter parking lot just before the store) and in back. Exit is on the other side of the store. Donations - go around back. Limited hours it seems. The Yelp page says the proceeds all go to help the local community. I'm always skeptical of claims but I'll choose to believe it and I'm glad this clean, tidy thrift shop with a clean parking lot has a generous positive mission (unlike the unscrupulous "GW"). I might swing by again in the future, if it's convenient. Definitely would prefer to be coming from I-80 instead of making another awkward u-turn coming from El Camino Avenue.”

“Very neat place, so much to see(old artifacts) I feel like some stuff should be at a museum lol. Helpful staff!! Some stuff were well priced I just think the clothes is kinda pricey! Mostly vintage items so if your into that check this place out.”

“I love the way everything is stocked and organized. I tend to head for trinkets and baby items on a usual thrift stroll. They have very great stock of big home items and clothing.”

“☆☆☆☆☆I dont review often but in my latest experience as a customer here, I felt it was necessary. I obsessed about a pot that I left at the registers the previous night so I went back to find it. The manager (I assumed due to how she came across - confident and knowledgeable) said the pot was still there and was just waiting to come back on the floor. I waited for 2 hrs (!) but witnessed her the whole time and she deserves to be commended. Not only was she juggling many things at once and working really hard, but she was courteous and extremely professional; even while managing difficult customers she showed grace. She walked past me a bunch of times going back and forth to register calls for support, to coordinating and managing workflow and breaks, to even helping stock items in an effort to help find my pot! She checked in multiple times with me (and others), and apologized multiple times for me waiting when it was really my own fault for leaving it in the first place! She was amazing, aware and had full control of that whole store, but was so nice! I ended up leaving without my pot but told her I would come back the next day and that obv she did all she could! At this point she was at the registers bc it was super busy but I could feel her compassion for me about this pot bc she knew I wanted it so bad! I went in again today and I FOUND IT - WOOHOO! I asked her name so I could give her the feedback she deserves and her name is RASHAUNA. I was so thankful and also impressed and inspired by her. I could go on but I just wanted her to get a huge shout out and thank you from me and hopefully her other goodwill corporate family bc she truly deserves it. <3 Thank you Rashauna! I love my pot and you!!!”

“This is a hit or miss kind of place. Sometimes you find wonderful stuff, and sometimes it's overpriced crap. But.. they sell makeup! I Love buying high-end makeup here and always pick up some for my daughter in law's stockings. The workers here are super nice. Worth a stop!”

“Very quaint shop with a nice variety of high and low end items for most every budget. Some items are priced as high of higher than retail, but all in all, they have nice furniture and things for nearly any taste. Enjoy seeing the nice variety.”

“Thrift store with a lot of potential, however have been coming here for years and have found very little worth commenting on! Always a smell in the building, like old perfume. Messes with my nose sometimes.Other than that, pretty average thrift store. Goodwill has a better selection if you’re looking for good finds. Employees here are always kind and helpful. For local reviews or travel content you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist”

“First time visiting this store. Andrea was very friendly, welcoming, and overall provided amazing customer service! I bought books and a few home items. Store has cold drinks and snacks for purchase. Also, they sell a bunch of brand new items like blankets, hats, backpacks and more. It gave me flea market vibes. I’ll be back another day.”

“This is probably my favorite goodwill amongst the ones I've been too. This is mostly due to their selection of books. Each time I've visited, I needed a cart for all the books I found. Their books are cheap ($2-$3 each). They have a good selection of young adult books, children's books, syfy, etc. They had many Steven King novels last time I was there. The only downside is their small parking lot.”

“I lost a shirt somewhere between the cash register and my home. I called because I thought it may have fallen out and restocked and let me tell you...they went ABOVE & BEYOND what I expected! My goodness, they did everything in their power which included reviewing the tape of our transaction. My heart was sad when I got home without my blouse, but my faith in good humans was renewed! I 100% will be back and sing the praises of the good people at Orangevale Goodwill, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!”

“I applaud their efforts! Given the clientele and what they pay their workers, I think they do a great job. If you want Nordstroms products and service, go to Nordstroms.”

“I have most of my household items and clothes donations dropped off at this Goodwill location not too far from my house. This Goodwill donation center is a convenient place attached to the Goodwill store. The donation center is on the side of the building with cover. The same gentleman has been working here for a long time. He is fast and helpful. The area is clean with easy access. However, there are lots of homeless tents near the exit outside of the metal fence.”

“Great place to find items at prices you will never find anywhere else. Customer assistance and satisfaction are not on every employee's list but it is all about the customer. Now that they play classic rock instead of that horrible rap, shopping has been made soothing. But whatever you buy, "shopper beware" most items are donated.”

2.7 Average25 Reviews

“I come here at least once a month. But it's always to drop off donations. The person that receives the item is ALWAYS nice, friendly and polite. They look through the boxes to see if there's anything that is not accepted and rarely do they find anything like that from me. The loading area is always clean and neat. They have an ample supply of carts to put your boxes and bags in. Yesterday it happened. He thanked me and said, "but we cannot accept this item." I apologized and said, "Now I know." He thanked me for my donation and offered me a receipt - they always do. I don't need them - can't claim this stuff anyway. So I like coming to this store, it's the closest to my house and near to a lot of businesses that I patronize. This way I can incorporate a bunch of stops and be MORE EFFICIENT!”

“Great selection of merchandise. I have only been to this location once, but I can honestly say that this store has a lot great stuff. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The store is very clean and well managed. I always find awesome decorative items for my home and great planters for my succulents. For all my thrifty shoppers, visit this location and let me know what you think. Happy thrifty shopping !”

“This is one of my favorite thrift stores to visit weekly. I recommend visiting Mary's Thrift Store on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday as those days are 50% off everything. Every other day she has 50%-75% off specific color tags which can be found on a whiteboard once you enter and on a hanging sign on the ceiling above the clothes. I always find really great deals here. I recently purchased a Lululemon Scuba Hoodie Full Zip for $40 which retails for $150 brand new. I found True Religion jeans, Express clothing, Levi's jeans, and so many other name-brand clothing for such a good deal.”

3.3 Good105 Reviews

“Come to this location occasionally and find some good finds only down side is the poor customer service. I would be more mindful of who you guys hire and please dont apply to customer service based jobs if you are going to be miserable and rude to people.”

“Came by for a donation and to check out the selection of items inside. Always a decent wait for a donation, I’ve had anywhere between a 1 hour wait and a 10 minute wait. Staff at donation area were amazing.Inside selection is best in Folsom. The place could use a nice cleaning. Prices are fairly high on some items, and they also will sell anything they can. Saw some items for sale that are literal trash or you can get for free from other places. Some staff inside were a bit loud and obnoxious. Other than that, no complaints. For local reviews or travel content, you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist”
