Our daughter has been going to The Learning Years for almost a year now. Ms. Helga, Ms. Katya and Ms. Cristina have been really great. Our daughter has learned a lot and matured. We wanted an academically challenging preschool and The Learning Years has been perfect. It’s a warm environment where they teach them manners and get them ready for kindergarten. Thanks to them, our daughter was ready when she went to test into the magnet school, Riverview STEM Academy.

My daughter Scarlett has been going here for over a year and absolutely loves it here. Unfortunately we are moving and will miss Miss Helga dearly. She has been so helpful with our daughter and we see a huge difference in how much she has learned and retained. My wife and I are always asking our daughter where did she learn that and she always refers to Miss Helga. We can't thank her enough for all the attention she has given our daughter. We highly recommend this school for your littles.

I came here when i was in preschool. Ms. Helga was the best at teaching and academics! I am now leading to 6th grade! Thank you! And please consider your 2-6 year olds going there!

My son attended Learning Years academy before his kindergarten. I feel so lucky to have made this decision. Miss Helga is awesome. My son was shy and wouldn't open up. Miss Helga was very patient and she made him comfortable. At the end of year, my son is very open and would not stop talking :) Even though our main objective was for him to learn social skills, but Miss Helga also prepared him academically. As a result, he cleared an entrance test and got into a competitive school(icing on the cake). Miss Helga has tons of experience with small children and hope more families can take advantage of this program to get their children ready for school.

My twin babies – boy and a girl who are 3 ½ year old now goes to Learning years Academy. Before this they were going to a reputed day care with STEM curriculum, but I had to movethem on Doctor’s advice because they were getting sick very frequently almost every month. It was taking toll on the family. I was looking for a day care with a smaller number of kids. I am soglad to have found Learning years. Ms. Helga gives importance to keeping the facility clean, disinfected. I can hardly count the number of times they fell sick since then. Also, I found Ms.Helga kind, and passionate about caring and teaching young learners. She gives equal importance and care to each kid. Her passion is seen in all the small things she does for them like She serves food for them as they like it for instance for my daughter, she gives big pieces of sandwiches as she likes to have big bites. For my son, she makes sure she cuts histurkey into small pieces as he prefers it that way. Such personal touch in caring was not there in the reputed daycare. At the same time, she is also good at disciplining them. My kids are happyto go to her and learning very well also. I have seen them grow in Leaps and bounds. I whole heartedly recommend Ms. Helga and Learning Years Academy.

I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my child at The Learning Years Academy Child Care Center, and I must say it has been an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we walked through the door, I knew we had made the right choice for our little one.First and foremost, the staff at The Learning Years Academy are incredible. They are warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to providing the best care for children. The teachers are highly qualified, nurturing, and experienced in early childhood education. They genuinely love what they do, and it shows in how they interact with the children. The facility itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It is evident that great attention is paid to creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children. The home-like facility is bright and colorful filled with age-appropriate toys, books, and educational materials. There is also a large outdoor play area where the children can run, jump, and explore nature. One of the things that impressed me the most about The Learning Years Academy is its educational curriculum. They have a well-rounded program that focuses on both academic and social development. Since joining the center, my child has learned so much, from basic skills like counting and letter recognition to more advanced concepts like problem-solving and teamwork. The teachers incorporate fun and engaging activities into their daily routines, ensuring that learning is both enjoyable and meaningful.Communication with the staff is excellent. They provide regular updates on my child's progress, and I always feel informed about what is happening at the center. They are responsive to any questions or concerns I have, and I appreciate their open-door policy, which allows me to drop by anytime.Another aspect that sets The Learning Years Academy apart is its emphasis on health and nutrition. They provide balanced and nutritious meals and snacks, catering to different dietary needs. I have peace of mind knowing that my child is being well-fed and cared for throughout the day.Lastly, I would like to thank each and every individual on the Learning Years Academy team, Miss Helga, Miss Sara, Miss Katerina, and Miss Katya. Thank You So Much.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Learning Years Academy to any parent seeking a high-quality childcare facility. The caring staff, stimulating environment, educational curriculum, and commitment to health and communication make it an exceptional place for children to grow, learn, and thrive. My child looks forward to going to The Learning Years Academy every day, and as a parent, that brings me immense joy and peace of mind.

Supportive learning environment for kids to grow and have fun! Preschool that has an emphasis on preparing the kids to succeed in their future educational journeys... but at the same time, there are a lot of activities for the kids to enjoy and be kids! There is also lots of care to help the kids learn to be good humans and practice good manners and build friendships.Ms. Helga is a gem! She is fully integrated into our neighborhood community and that's how she came on my radar. There were no openings at first so I kept waiting! She is always doing things to improve her facilities like adding to the backyard (which is a really big space)! Has a spanish and german component. Art and painting, songs, projects during holidays and cultural holidays. She does a great job selecting the right assistants. Ms. Sarah is so friendly and peppy. Ms. Helga has a great pulse of each kid and understanding where they are in their development. She helped us get our daughter over that final hurdle of potty training (tiny toilets in the house). She shares good tidbits about what our daughter succeeded at for the day and I feel really proud about what our daughter is learning and growing. I guess my daughter absolutely loves circle time and she loves following the rules and raising her hand to participate. My daughter loves and is focused on the activities they do like flashcards. The other day, even though she is only 3, she started counting to 100 on her own. She knows her days or the week, sings songs about the months. Ms. Helga says my daughter will for sure for sure be ready for kindergarten as she is already mastering many of the things that the Kinder assessment covers. I wasn't focused on the academic part initially and just want a safe and secure place but now that I see what my 3-year old comes home knowing, I am really impressed. My daughter is my second kid. We were looking for an in-home setting because I like the stability of staffing and having the preschool owner invested is a must. It is not a typical "in-home" because this house is a dedicated preschool center and bedrooms function as different useable spaces but I'm glad it still has the home-like vibe. From the previous daycares/preschools my kids have been in, I look for 3 main things...1) secure and safe, 2) caring/empathetic, 3) structure/organized/ belief the kids can reach high standards. The Learning Years Academy has all 3 of these things.Seeing all the kids at the table ready to eat snack or breakfast, and listening is so cute. But what makes me happy is when my daughter walks in they all excitedly say hello to my daughter, saying, "___ is here! Hello ____!" I am thankful Ms. Helga created this great little community!

I am very particular about where I send my little ones for child care and really value a place that emphasizes learning and also provides healthy meals. I highly recommend The Learning Years Academy for your little one. My first child has been attending for 3 years basically from diapers to now pre-K. My second child attends now as well. My kids rave about the fresh, home cooked meals, they call the Director "the best cooker". Overall, this place deserves the highest reviews. The playful and safe environment, the focus on learning, I am so glad I found this place. Highly recommend for Gold River/ Rancho Cordova families

My 4 year old son Ronnie is going to The Learning Years Academy since May 2021. At first,We sent him in March 2020 for couple of weeks and then this pandemic started. Within 2-3 months, we can see so many good changes in Ronnie's behavior especially, his social skills and table manners had improved drastically. He was not communicating in English before going to the school, but Miss Helga is so patient and experienced with kids, that within few weeks only, we can see him speaking and understanding English. She managed the communication gap very patiently and it's amazing to see the difference now. Miss Helga knows what she is doing and she is very experienced. I like her most as she gives me Ronnie's regular updates and also she informs me about his daily highlights, both praises and room to improve. She is taking care of his diet as well as taste and serves good meals. Ronnie is actively participating in various activities and games and Miss Helga always encourages all the kids and helps in their learning (both academically and socially). Also, she is teaching about different countries, their culture and languages. I couldn't have thought of any other place for my son. I trust Miss Helga and all I can say she is best.I am very happy and always grateful that she is the first teacher for my son.

We are really fortunate to discover Learning years academy school and didn't decide of enrolling our 4 year old to some place else. Miss Helga is perfect teacher our son Ronav could've got and he just loves going to school which is great ! We enrolled him in March 2019 but then covid era started but miss Helga was kind enough to continue his enrollment until we decided to send him in again in May 2021. He is learning at a rapid pace and enjoying his time at school. Miss Helga is preparing him for Riverview STEM and we are confident he will get in as qualified student !Thank you for all good work you do Miss Helga at Learning Years Academy.

This is my second review for my second child that has attended The Learning Years. My 2 year old is a moody kid and is complete opposite of his older brother. Miss Helga handled him well. She's been very patient with him. Both of my boys adore Miss Helga. I've always felt the environment and curriculum exceeded my expectations as a parent. Miss Helga is extremely structured and she works with the parents to remain on the same page with each child. She communicates well and is really passionate about her business.
