Stoney Folks Jewelers are amazing! I took my great grandmother’s wedding ring in to get fixed and was feeling a little apprehensive about it— the ring is so special to me and the last place I took it did not do a good job and it broke again. Stoney Folks were super professional and did a beautiful job fixing the ring. Thank you!!

I have been with Stoney for over 20 years. They do not disappoint. Customer service is great as always. They have a few new faces, but they quickly recognize me after a few visits. I moved to ATL GA and I haven’t found a jeweler I trust. I have saved all my broken pieces and will be in Sacramento for two weeks and guess who is going to fix my jewelry YES Stoney here I come. Hope my pieces can be repaired in two weeks.

Let's start with their knowledge and expertise my mother brought them a star ruby we specifically picked out at a gem show she already had a setting to have it mounted in also. All they had to do was install the stone. She got a call saying it was done, when she came home she was about in tears, the stone had a crack in it. I said don't worry about it I'll go down and find out what happened. I went in to talk to them the jeweler was already on the defensive stating it was already cracked, I stated that it was not and he said it was and they must have covered it up by putting mineral oil on it. I said do you install stones that are originally cracked you are lying and I could tell the stone was pinched in the bezel where it had been installed. We went back and forth about it finally I said then cut it out, he did and inside was a piece of gold slag that when it was installed broke the stone. Tried to pass off some inferior replacement for three weeks until my frustration just told them to replace both the stone and the setting and they wouldn't replace the setting that now needed repair but did the stone and this whole thing took over two months. Don't trust these jewelers, honesty is not their policy!

This is a small independent jeweler located in a strip mall in Rancho Cordova. They make the most amazing custom jewelry, and are incredibly kind, patient, and helpful.

My wife had her jewelry box stolen a few years ago and I’ve slowly been replacing her collection one birthday and Christmas at a time. I’ve made all but one of my purchases over the last three years at Stoney Folks. Their prices are very reasonable and are lower than most chain stores, there service is great, and when there is an issue, they make sure to resolve it. I highly recommend them.

I got a quote from Stoney Folks Jewelers to have a vintage ring fixed that my mother had given me about 20 years ago. It was also her wedding ring. The diamond had fallen out and I needed to replace it with another diamond I already had as an earring. The quote seemed fair since the ring needed to be altered to fit the bigger diamond and also needed new prongs. This ring is very sentimental to me and it will be soon passed on to my daughter. I called to see the status of the ring and Kay said it will be done in a week. I explained that I was having major surgery that week so they would have to hold it till I'm recovered enough to pick it up. Two days later she called back and said it was ready! I'm pretty sure they finished it so I could have it before my surgery. I was so happy but when I saw the ring I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked. They did such an amazing job. I'm planning on having them redesign another ring I have very soon that I already had a quote on. The staff is very kind and understanding. I highly recommend this jeweler .

I felt judged and a possibly a bit of racism?? I don't know whether it was because they thought I look very young for my age(people think I'm 16-19) but I'm very much in my mid 20s. I went in for a very simple and quick repair and there were 2 ladies. One was talking to a customer very merrily and the other helped me. The one who helped me sort of talked to me like I was a child? As if I didn't know anything lol but that was fine. She was still nice enough. As I was waiting for the repair, I was looking at the rings. Then the other lady came by but not to see if I needed help. She passed by me and I asked for her opinion on a ring pairing but she answered in a very short answer and walked away. Her answer and tone made me feel like she didn't take me seriously at all. Like as if she didn't believe that I was serious. Whether it was because she thought I was too young or couldn't afford it(I dressed casual) etc, either way that's not ok. I would understand if that's just her usual self/tone, but I heard the way she was talking to other customers and coworkers, who were also white ,and she definitely didn't sound like the way she did when she talked to me.

They did an amazing job restoring a family ring and adding to it as well. Everyone is absolutely amazed at the quality of work and detail put into it. I will definitely be recommending this jewelry store to all friends and family!
