I own a 1998 Lexus SC 300 and my drivers side window motor went out. I live in Hawaii and looked all over for the part but couldn't find the right one. I ordered the part via the web from Cardone #47-1177 which had linked up to my Vin #. The part arrived but the side bolts were too bulky. After several hit and misses I finally called Specialized Auto Recycling and spoke to Al. Within 3 minutes Al found the part took my info and I received the part in 2 days. Al was extremely professional and all n all a cool guy. I highly recommend checking them out for future hard to find parts.Mahalo,Sheldon W.

We had ordered a wheel and paid with a check, yet we had a credit card on file and were charged as well. We called multiple times and left messages, and have not heard anything back. This was back in February. Today, we finally speak to someone and was told I had the wrong number and hung up on. Called back asked why I was calling the wrong number and was hung up on again. Very unprofessional!

Two outside side view mirrors were ordered. The photos on the website, that were available, appeared to show them in good condition. The order was placed on February 16 and was actually shipped around February 22nd. No biggie. The parts were sent directly to my mechanic and the box was nicely packaged showing NO damage. The individual parts were well wrapped, both myself and my mechanic taking notice. Upon unwrapping the well wrapped parts, each of the two mirrors/housing were damaged and unusable. An email with photos attached was immediately sent and was followed by a phone conversation with Karl, who agreed they were not useable, offering to either refund the amount or replace the two products. I chose to have them replaced, asking what I should do with the original products sent. He said he didn't want them and to give a him few days to find replacements as he, "...had great sources and should be easy to find." A week passed. Nothing. Then another week. Still nothing. I finally called and spoke with Tino who informed me that I had to send the mirrors back, as it was a new policy enacted within the month. Karl was out due to medical and he would need to be a part of the outcome and would bet back to me. Nothing. I called again, a week or so later after numerous attempts to get through, leaving messages and sending an email or two. Again, nothing. Finally, I get through to another guy who said, the same thing...would need to talk to Karl. No Karl...weeks later. Message left, no response. I clearly should have taken the option at the time offered by Karl to have the refund. Now, as I am getting no response to messages, emails and seemingly no one answers the phone as "no one is available" I am out the money. Customer service aspires to be terrible. The worst. Will update if this gets resolved.

I buy have been purchasing used parts from recycle rd for years. This place is the bottom of the barrel on all aspects. Here are issues that need to be addressed:Customer service/ non existent/Parts storage and description ( usually not as described) Carpart and availability do not match up, does not get updated. Prices change by the minute, if you have no other choice but to come to this place for parts try to get a quote number. 100% of the time the pets will be more then brand new parts at the dealership. Know prices in advance, do research and understand the availability and market conditions. Always always inspect the parts they bring out. More likely then not they have not been inspected. The parts are not removed from vehicles in inventory, this is an old school wrecking yard that has not improved or made changes that everyone else has. Expect to wait at minimum half an hour for anything to get pulled.Last but not least, do your homework and only come here if there is no other choice or if they have something that you absolutely can not get anywhere else.

If I could leave half a star I would. Customer service is terrible here. Prior from a 3 hour drive to arrive I called the day before for a quote on parts. I asked over the phone three times the amount total for two doors to clarify my convenience for the drive. I come down to only see the part managers making jokes with their friends about how stupid I sounded. This is completely unprofessional and seeks lack of culture. After making my presence reasonable from an aggressive confrontation the parts manager made it into a violent scene where I had to just leave or I would've gotten hit. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Before purchasing the part from this dismantler, I called a local dealership to confirm that the part I will be buying is correct for my car. Proceed to go buy it here and they gave me the wrong part. Went back the next day to get refund but they refused to give me my money back. Very rude people here. Employee smoking inside the building. Don't waste your money here. Lesson learned.

Horrible, shady company to do business with. They do not check parts they send, lie, and are so unprofessional. Wouldn't use them again and wish I never did in the first place.

They have terrible customer service and lie over and over . my husband orderer a engine he ordered one they sent him another one with more miles , he took it back , they said they will send the one he wanted they just had to put a few parts in. Long story short my husband found a engine in the bay area and they delivered same day he purchased . My husband called to cancel the order of the engine they were going to deliver the guy said they would do the refund , its been almost two weeks no refund , every time i call he has attitude finally got a refund after 3 weeks
