Dennis Alexander showed us an amazing number of samples of engineered wood to choose from and immediately contacted suppliers to insure our choice was in stock and available for quick pick up to start our flooring project. The foreman, Kenny, was a total professional. Our existing cement floor had a very uneven surface and they ground it down and made it completely even. We had chosen Somerset Red Oak as the wood and the company installed it, complete with sealant drying time, in less than 3 full days. They moved our refrigerator back into place by LIFTING it above the floor and walked it to the plastic mat and placed it very carefully on the mat. They did a beautiful job on the floor and put in baseboards which they did touch up work on. THE Floor has gotten an amazing number of compliments already. It looks beautiful. We recommend this company highly!

We had SAWS come in and demo our entire downstairs. We had tile with laminate laid over it, a sunken living rooms and carpet. They demoed it, ground the cement and laid fresh beautiful new flooring down. The workers were prompt every morning, respectful and great to have in our home. Definitely will be coming back here when we do the rest of our house.

We purchased our CA home remotely from NY. And in doing so, we had to coordinate the bulk of the remodeling work from afar. SAWS Flooring was highly recommended and after working with Denny, I can see why. He is such a professional businessman and a skilled contractor as well. Our floors look fabulous!

Sacramento Area Wood is by far the best company I have ever dealt with. Denny visited our home and guided us to make the best choice of flooring for our needs. His team arrived every day at 7:50 am, unloaded their equipment and were at our door at 8:00 am, without exception. They were extremely hardworking, polite, and professional. They were also very sweet and friendly. Their demeanor in interacting with each other was very professional and respectful but also very friendly and even brotherly. The energy they brought into our home was very positive and reassuring. My husband injured his back just before we were scheduled to begin installation and was unable to move our furniture. The team worked tirelessly moving furniture again and again as they installed the flooring. They treated our home and our belongings with great care and consideration. They were also mindful of the children in my care. They were very careful with their equipment and supplies, so as not to endanger the children. They were so understanding and gracious as they went above and beyond expectations. They gave 100% percent of themselves each and every day. They were never preoccupied with cellphones or any other personal affairs. In comparing prices with others who live in Folsom, and have similar square footage, I found the pricing to be very competitive. The installation was impeccable and completed on schedule. I highly recommend this company and I do not think you will find any company that will provide a better price or better experience.

SAWS just completed replacing all my downstairs flooring and baseboards. Pricing was fair - Denny was very helpful in selecting flooring and not pushing towards more expensive product. I was schedule a month + out - but they delivered on the timeframe provided. The crew was awesome - they were methodical and professional.

We had an excellent experience with Sacramento Area Wood Specialists (SAWS). We hired SAWS to replace our tile with Luxury Vinyl Planks and replace the carpet in two of our bedrooms. From initial bid, product selection to installation, we enjoyed exceptional customer service and professionalism. The results were well beyond our expectations. Each and every aspect of the process was executed to perfection. The entire job was completed in 3-1/2 days (two other bids required 10-14 days to complete), including moving our furniture and appliances, demo tile, and paint and install new baseboards.Our outstanding team included Denny, Ken, Mike, Ryan, Rubin and Joe.GREAT JOB!!!

We recently worked with Denny to have the whole of our ground floor carpeting replaced with wood (vinyl plank) having always had carpets we had some reservations about the change. Dennys crew however did such an excellent job that we loved the transition immediately. nothing was too much trouble. The foreman and crew were diligent in ensuring every last inch was laid perfectly. I would recommend them 100% pricing was excellent, can't say enough about the professional job they did.

These guys were awesome. Finished the project ahead of schedule. There was a LOT of prep work that needed to be done. These guys worked hard until the job was done. Irving (who was managing the job) was spectacular! So good to work with. He was kind and very customer service oriented. They out did themselves with the work they did with the moldings and how they did the flooring around the fire place. They were referred to me by a friend and I will now be referring them to my friends. Beautiful work, ahead of schedule, great crew! Pics don't do it justice!
